Usually a chomo is riding solo and easy to get after....these rapists are part of a gang and can defend themselves....or their riding solo but are huge and can handle themselves.....it sucks but its part of ths system....

My Uncle Shaun was murdered the exact same way at Staton in December last year. Raped, beaten, broken ribs, punctured lungs, internal bleeding, head crushed, and eaten up with cancer, that Staton ignored his cries for help about for the entirety of his time there. He laid there for a month after they beat him and weighed 77lbs when he finally made it to South Memorial in Montgomery. We were lied to about where he was... the warden lied to me when I cried asking where he was and said he was in population. I made it 2 hours before he took his last breath. We NEVER got justice. They never told us who did it... my uncle had a drug problem and never hurt a single person in his life. I will never rest until I find out why. 😢

It's still not how he died and a private party autopsy would settle that no problem. They did with tyree and they had to up the charges on those demons in blue. But before the family hired them. They sat on the whole damn thing. This family is gonna have to pull it together and fight for this young man. Til justice is served. In 2023, this cant coexist with us. It can't. Had to take him off, but the hospital told us he had major bruises on thighs ect. Nothing was ever done, nor would any lawyer help us. Things need to change, very sad.

I got into a car accident and didn’t know my license was suspended until the cop came into the ambulance and cuffed me to the stretcher im like tf u doing and he told me y. Then in the hospital they had me handcuffed to the bed and put shackles on my legs meanwhile my leg was injured from the accident so that was only causing me so much more pain and the cop even argued with the radiologist saying he couldn’t take the shackles off and the doctors like how tf am I gonna X-ray his leg with shackles on r u really that stupid and I was just glad someone else said it. All for a fucking suspended license and they had me there looking like a serial killer it was the most unnecessary bullshit ever and I had to spend a night in jail again for a suspended fucking license unbelievable.

Even with they're being corrupt guards there are usually a couple good ones or halfway decent wins that don't allow a lot of crap to happen on their what. Also, it was a dorm setting. There are prisoners that snitch on any one and everything that happens whether or not they're snitching on people and gangs are not. That's just how it is, but nobody said anything?
I've seen guards overlook fights or a little bit of drug use and stuff like that, but this isn't a fight or just a little bit of drug use. This is serious and I don't know how this was allowed to go on.

Thank you for bringing the poor prison conditions to light. When I worked at the AZ State Prison I was shocked to discover that the rotten guards laugh when a young 18-year-old enters the system and is sexually attacked. Later, when I worked at Juvey, I was told to leave because I was "too kind" to the incarcerated youth. Why would I be cruel to these boys, as their academic instructor, when they are already being punished? As a Christian, I gave the boys hope through our only Lord and Saviour. Upon my departure, the boys gave me a beautiful hand made card...signed with their blessings...Most never had a chance.

It’s just a known fact and yet nothings ever done about it I mean it’s not like we have the 8th amendment to protect against cruel and unusual punishment and I can’t think of anything crueler then having to be someone’s sex slave for a couple of years just because u were an addict and got caught with the drugs that already ruined your life or got into a fight and accidentally hurt someone or whatever the case may be. A lot of people say well that’s what u get if u break the law but it could happen to anyone like I said u get into a fight and you’re just defending yourself and maybe the guy falls cracks his head and dies. @@Dmoneyy503 From what I observed in those zoos, there are certain things a prisoner ends up doing where everyone washes their hands of the inmate.
One is when an inmate, who came into the system as a straight guy, gets himself mixed up in the crowd with gays. It’s just a matter of time. Another reason is when the inmates gets his ass in debt,; drugs, borrowing, gambling, etc.
There are no prison gangs like in the movies. Maybe in other states’ DOC systems, but really not in Alabama. You do have the bloods, crips, gangster disciples, Simon City Royals, etc. But I saw these gangs’ membership based on what city you came from.

From the stories theyve told me i dont know how the federal government hasnt stepped in. Not just the violence but the filth, rotten food, etc.

Been locked up 6 times and have only ever told anyone my release date once and that was my most recent trip. Got a surprise sentence at court that I was leaving in a couple days. Problem is I had a big ass bag coming with food and hygiene cause I expected much more time. Didn't want that shit to go to waste because some people in my pod were down bad, so talked to the big dog in the block during a chess game before leaving about him passing it out to the folks who were strugglin in the pod (and of course keeping some for himself if he wanted to.) He appreciated that shit a lot and didn't tell anyone until I got my bag and slid it over to him. I left like 2 hours later and in that time had like 9 people pop by my cell and just thank me. It was a cool as feeling.
Definitely wouldn't do this with just any pod though. Dangerous as hell, but being locked up so much you get a good feel for how a pod is quick.

The possible scenarios that led to Daniel’s demise are endless, but the bottom line is that Warden out there didn’t prevent this from happening, and any blame falls squarely on him. “It’s under investigation,” he’s quoted as saying. And now he should be under investigation, for running a prison that allows for something so tragic as this to happen. What if u did and u were just defending yourself and hit the guy and he fell and cracked his head and now he’s dead and now maybe you’re doing a couple of years for manslaughter. It could happen to anyone and that’s just one example of people that broke the law but that doesn’t mean they’re criminals that deserve being subjected to this. A guy served 5 years because he refused to pay child support because the kid wasn’t his but the courts and judge didn’t care and said he had to anyway so if something like this happened to that guy you’d still be saying oh well u shouldn’t have been a criminal? Not everything on life is black and white every situation is different.

Plus, if I saw a young white man like him, with a perfect family, choosing to go into life of crime when he had it good, would make me furious, having not grown up with that, which led to a life of crime, and a long term stay in prison...most in prison who had no family structure would go out of the way to make him feel pain, just because of that fact.

So sad. My brother was doing time in a prison 4 hours away from LA, CA and 4 days after he arrived and 2 months before he release, he was murdered. Our family was told he was stabbed and jumped by inmates. When we got to the hospital we were told that he was braindead. The cause was 1 blow to the head with a hard object. He was never stabbed or jumped. During the visits while he lay in a coma, we checked his body for bruising,.. not one scratch on him. It’s been 16 years and we have no answers. No type of information has ever been given to us. All we ever got the first few years, was “it’s under investigation”. In 2021, we called the prison asking for answers and we got the run around. Someone emailed us and said no information can be given because they are still investigating. 🤔. It’s just weird that not one lead can even be given to us.

Poverty and criminality are malignant broken homes and family systems and kids not having enough opportunities and guidance from people who care about them is the real crime. He straight up told this particular inmate something unholy and his family will suffer as well. I had a friend that did a year in Bullock County correctional, (AL). He said he witnessed a guy get raped by 10 dudes one night because of the "candy bar" trick where they leave a bar or maybe a coke on your bed and then come later looking for it. If you cannot produce it, then you owe them 2! If you don't' get it by a certain time limit, they take it out of your ass. Another bad prison here is St. Clair. Lots of inmates get killed in St. Clair. We also have Holman Prison in Atmore. That is death row here. They call it slaughterhouse. It ranks top 10 in the nation for bad prisons.

The Warden & the staff at that prison need to be arrested and charged big time. They allowed the prisoners to take & assault him. They participated in the murder & sexual assault. Covering up the murder should be another charge. He was likely passed out for a long time before they actually took him to the hospital
