I think its pretty stupid how they nerfed spotting for helis and jets in the spring patch cause its fucking impossible to find things to shoot at on the ground if its not prespoted

That is my favorite setup in the stealth jet, 25mm and laser guided, with that nothing stands in your way except for maybe an attack heli but your team usually takes care of those
Great advice. Stealth Jet shines in maps like Silk Road and Paracel and other Naval maps. Too bad that i can't say the same thing for the Attack jet.
25mm = 15 damage vs infantry... my m9 is better ! 25 would be better.

Hardest part about hitting infantry on base PS4 is that the graphics are so de-loaded and next to impossible to see the opponent until your basically crashed lol

Nice video Ghost, answered all my questions, but one more came to me. What do you think about change cannons or your jet loudout mid game? maybe like you change kit with the commander crate, but using jets has to land at the base, or something like that. It will be intesting not reedeploing and wait various seconds ultil next jet respawns. Please give me your thoughts.
+Henrique Souza I think it'd be an interesting mechanic, being able to return to the carrier to re-supply. But in that case, I think they should have no auto-repair and have repairs performed at home deployment. Then of course all the heat-seeker spam would have to be nerfed in accordance. But that's how it was in BF2.

Hey Ghost, question for you: Where are you getting your stats on these various jet cannons?
Specifically the stats on spash damage radius, and bonus damage to specific vehicles. Are these collected on a handy website somewhere which updates for patches to stay current, or are they just things you have observed over hours of play?

Yeah I still use the 25 if the enemy pilots aren't much of a threat. If there are plenty of air vehicles to go for though then 20's are the way.
How can I make the jets turn faster on ps4? They seem to turn so slowly... especially compared to this video where he's playing on pc
If youd watch his other stuff about speed control which is when you try and keep your jets speed around 313 which make you do tighter turns and loops.. It may look like hes turning real quick because of the jet camera roll which i believe can be found in gameplay settings or video settings

I'm still on PS3, so I can only play normal CQ with 24 players max. We only have 5 maps with attack jets. Op. Firestorm is the only one with both jets. Therefore, stealth is the go to jet for me seeing as it's much more common in the maps. There normally isn't a lot of air traffic, so I tend to go with the 30mm. I've used the 25mm more than I used to recently, but the 30mm is so much easier to use in dogfights. I tend to kill much faster with them. Then again, I usually don't come across a lot of skilled pilots. I just know they're dead as soon as they pitch.

Yeah...that's the problem with Premium mate, it's splits the player-base and like with any game, people always stick with the Vanilla stuff most of the time.

Usually when I play the stealth jet I focus more on the air vehicles,therefore I prefer the 20mm + heatseaker.
Hey @GhostGaming is the 25mm cannon really better against infantry than the 30mm cannon?
Also, do you have any numbers on the projectile velocity of the 20/25? I know the 30mm is really slow (which is why it's so bad), but I'm wondering whether the 20mm projectiles might fly slightly faster than the 25mm, which would give it a slight edge, or whether their velocity is identical...
The main purpose of the stealth jet is to take out other enemy aircrafts. Even if you have laser guided is won't be enough especially since only 1 misslie is fired and they'll always deploy whatever countermeasure they have equipped.
Not true. You can fire two laser guided missiles at a target.

There's a setting for that. I think it's called free look
30mm is slow after... Use 20/25 for smooth kills

Unfortunatly on old gen consoles its really hard to take out infantry because the render distance of the red triangles is that low. If you see them you mostly doesnt have enough time to deal enough damage.

yea maybe...but then they would miss a lot of there player base because at least on PS3 there are still a lot of people playing the game.

I equip the 25mm and laser guided and when theres no enemy jet, I spot ground targets and snipers with the laser guided camera and proceed to strafe with the cannon. With that methot I get easily around 15-20 kills

I combined act. Radar and 30mm on nansha, made it rly easy to kill air and naval, the active radar got me mobility hits so i could follow up with easy 30mm finisher and i was able to do 25-35 dmg strafes on naval which is more than the laser guided. Rly good setup if you ask me

20MM so I can take out enemy jets easier, that way the skies are clear from jets allowing me to RendeZook XD
So..........you didn’t really outline the dmage to other jets, -_- that’s like the most important
Stealth jets are worthless on ps3 considering there is only 24 players so there isn't much air target's. But even for fighter jets it's hard because of the graphics, on pc you can see infy from the air but on old gen tanks aren't even visibly generated till you get real close.
