You forgot 1 thing about the laser guided, it can be used as a targeting pod to see infantry and vehicles.

It can also lock and forget into laser guided vehicles and deal 1.5x the damage, and air vehicles can also be laser guided

I know that im 6 years later for this video but, one tip i could give is to use the guided laser missiles on the stealth jets, a double attack against the tanks, lock on a vehicle, launh the missile and directly change to the main weapon, then wait for the reload ofnthe other missile and instantly lock again and launch it, when u lanuch a missile and u dont lock it the missile will go horizontal, soo they both are going to guide to the tank, its not a glitch or griefing cuz its actually part of the game, i haven't seen people using that tip and that's why u wrote it here (sorry for my english, its not my main lengueaje)

7 years later but you can coordinate with the attack jet to take out the AAC. Activate your ecm and fire both your laser guided from far away so that i can't kill you and then the attack jet finishes it off from behind

You can actually lock back on with the laser guided and the missile will follow again

I know it's been 8 years my man, but till this day 2024.
I still do it to always trick the enemy.
What i sometimes do is i lock some random vehicles let it fire and then when it's close enough i lock my target and the rocket never disappoint me !

Laser guided will still hit their target if the target is not moving.

Laser guided also auto tracks a PLD/SOFLAM target does top down.

the reason for roadill in the flat screen tv is because it is considered a vehicle by the game mechanics, and so it can also bypass active protection

I wanna play with the jdams but on ps3 you cant Spot enemy over ap. 200 meters in jets(atleast i cant) so im stuck with the tv missiles and laser guided missiles so i can atleast spot some enemies. Any tipps for me so i can spot targeth who are more far away so that i can attack them?

Only with jdam, but mostly you have to rely on your team to spot the enemys. You need to use the big map way more in the jet than ever before, try to hit were you think he is. I play on ps3 too, so i hope my tipps could help.

My experience
LGMs: great for hitting targets before strafing or faking out APS so your 30mms can get work done.
Heatseekers: no. Use the attack jet mostly for ground targets.
Hydra rockets: in my experience your 30 mils do more damage in a strafe. Not worth it.
TV missiles: amazing against infantry, good against vehicles but JDAMs are your best bet if you don't care about infy.

because you "leave" the cockpit, so after 5 secs the "left behind" vehicles in the test range go boom, you'll have to do field testing

Plz help!!! I saw ppl use 2 laser guided at once like simultaneously and their ammo looked like "2/0" but j can only shoot one at a time and it looks like "1/1". Was their a patch or maybe an unlock? Any advice would be great!!

ShadowHunter For laser guided, you can only fire 1 missle/rocket and wait for the 2nd missle to load in, which usually takes longer than you can stay locked so you can only shoot 1 in a single run :/

Anton Helsgaun it does 40% damage per hit, but using it requires a good wingman to keep you safe from enemy airpower

i find the slowdown of guided missile effectif like you are in a dog fight you getting shot from behind shoot the tv missle slow down the jet gonna get pass you and you gonna be behind him

Just throttle down, instead of using your secondary weapon for a purpose it's not intended to be used.
Besides, any remotely skilled jet pilot will just slow down too and take you down easy since you are a very slow moving target.

I know I'm late but tv missiles get roadkill's because you literally become the missile, if you fire it you no longer exist in the vehicle you were piloting and instead pilot the missile, also if someone shoots your missile they can destroy it and kill you

killa California equipe it, switch to it, put the crosshair on your target, attack from a 90° angle, finish the pass with 30mm
