Started playing bf4 last week I just worked on my speed controll now I can take out enemy jets easily (horizontal loops)
The more you dogfight the easier it gets

I was struggling at learning how to aim 30mm gau cannon, and 'look for outer rim of the HUD circle' was a huge help.

I do this whenever I’m 100% dead. Or when my tank is near dead I’ll hop out and rocket it to death myself so they don’t get the points. Nobody makes me bleed my own blood.
@@greatdub816 Why, wtf. I always try to take some1 out with me when I know I'm dead, not speed up the process for them.
Thank you! Recently got back into BF4 and jets and now only the good people use jets pretty much so I needed to improve my skills, since I'm more of a tank driver. Your jet tutorials have helped out immensely. Now I'm getting 7-9 kills per death in Air Superiority and even more so in jets in conquest.

Thanks for all these jet tutorials ghost, particularly the speed control and dog fighting ones.
Just started using attack jets and can manage taking ground vehicles no problem now but get pummeled everytime a jet gets behind me.

Tell you the truth to start of with i was like bind pitch up to space yeah right? Then once my dog fights grew to five minutes and over coming dizziness i ran out of space for my mouse and my arms where killing. Spot on

I think I watched all of your jet tutorials now, and now I can't live without jets in BF4. I usually get 45+ kills and maybe 1-2 deaths every now and then. Thank you master, you have taught me well.

These videos are very helpful; I'm slowly making progress with flying jets from these. I might be trying to do things the hard way by playing Air Superiority to learn to dogfight though.
Thankyou. I would have to agree with you that Air Superiority probably isn't the best way to learn how to dogfight. You´ll have allies ramming into you all the time, enemies spamming you with ARMs and generally speaking have to have your eyes peeled to the air radar at all times, even whilst shooting. It definitely is a valid learning technique and great for warming up though!

Could you advise me on whether I should be using keyboard buttons while flying and maneuvering, and even shooting or should I combine both keyboard and mouse for playing in Jets?
On another tutorial it would be cool if you talked about evasive maneuvers this tutorial was helpful I use to have trouble killing enemy jets quickly but using the circle to aim never occurred to me

Great series of vids, I always destroy the enemy now, very helpful I only just just realised that when you switch to the JDAM screen I looked at your ammo count and you can drop 2 in one run but on console now you can only drop 1 then the second one reloads 😹 very strange

Do you need to hold the brakes while you're shooting down ground targets or even other jets oe you should maintain speed control around the 313 all the time?
Does the Q-5 Fantan do double damage because it has 2 guns? 2 streams of bullets instead of 1 on the A10 and SU-25?

Hey man, i've become a decent pilot over the last couple of months, but i have bound my keys differently from the default settings and by that i mean completely different. I'm using my mouse for example for the A & D job, aswell as pitch up and down for fine adjustments and my W,A,S,D for the stuff the mouse was supposed to do and i keep the spacebar for throttling down. My question now is, does the mouse do the better job at rolling? I have the feeling that using the keyboard for this, could be a disadvantage towards enemy pilots, because it seems slightly slower than when I test it with my mouse. I'm not 100% sure tho. The only real advantage imo is the fine adjustment you are able to do with the mouse against ground units, for example placing Jdams. Hope you can help me out there if you read this.

I feel like , on mouse is really hard to control the "exact" pitch level, and MAINTAIN(witch is the most important) of the plane , so it makes really hard to be precise on loopings shots ...and if you shoot taping SPACE BAR to aim , (witch is my case most of the times),.... in reality its a bunch of sprays shots with no accuracy,some land , most dont(like 20-30 hp/spray) .... it takes too long to take another aircraft down. Is there a way to make the mouse be more like a joystick ? ( have more control on the plane nose)

I need some help with air to ground CAS; I'm still not sure whether to throttle down, 314, or a just glide? I'm asking for both stealth and attack jets.
I've been throttling down, but the increased drop of the 30mms have been throwing me off.
I use throttle down whilst attack ground targets, not too much though, I wouldn't go below 230/240 ish maybe, but dropping your speed a little gives you more air time if you feel safe. If you're not sure just stay at 300-315 so you can pull out easily.

Well the difference in handling is that the stealth jet can accelerate much faster because it has afterburners, it also has a much tighter maximum turn. Aside from that they have very different weapon loudouts, the stealth jets are really built for taking down air vehicles and lightly armoured ground vehicles. Attack jets just demolish everything :P.

I can't play ATM on PS4 due to rubberbanding, but, what loadout would you recommend for a Stealth Jet for anti-air purposes?
Personally I like the 20mm's, I haven't tried the 25mm's much but the 30's don't seem to have a fast time to kill and are harder to use. ARM's as a secondary is a no-brainer, they're the most annoying thing you can use against any pilot :P. Other than that ECM and good old stealth coating :).

You play on normal maps. In Hardcore you can't turn your head to look at and keep in track while trailing your target. I usually loose my target while they change direction. Plus how are this guys able to slow the plane to the point that they can pick u on the ground? TY for the videos really help me.

If you're being attacked by a jet hop into a boat any gun in that can shoot it down even the mounted ones just takes some practice. (It's fun)
Hi there, awesome video ! Just subscribed :-) Just two questions : which is easier for killing people in Air Superiority, 20mm, 25m or 30mm ? And also, when I'm following another jet, I always find myself upside down... Any tips for that ? Thanks a lot !
Hey mate and thanks!
1. I find 20mm best for taking out enemy jets, it has the highest ROF and seems to be the most forgiving. Some prefer the 25mm but few use the 30's.
2. Try to keep to pitching up, going upside down is inevitable in a dogfight and is really just something you'll need to get used to. If you find yourself in half a loop and upside down, just roll your jet to correct things.

any tricks on getting the jets before the teammates get it at the spawn screen?? i keep on clicking the jet icon but 90% of the time my teammates get it first..:(

i have tried to do various different bindings but I can only get one look that shows the front of jet (so you see whats behind you)
I see you can view out the side of the cockpit how do you enable that???

wait in bf4 and other bf games why jet weapons are only 2 slots? the first one is main gun second is sp weapon? unlike ace combat games 3 slots first gun second missile and third sp weapon
Why do the bullets not shoot where the centre of the crosshair is when I’m shooting armour? They always shoot above the crosshair and it always misses
Hmm can’t say I’ve ever felt like that too much, I mostly just aim below the dorito unless there’s no spot

Yeah, there's also a huge volcano that's expected to errupt within the next few years, so if my video's disappear you know why ;p. I'm not all too familiar with the controls on console but I would guess it could be right thumbstick?

You probably should've mentioned how powerful miniguns are against jets.. Going after gunboats from a bad angle(aka from a very low angle) can get pretty nasty.. Espcecially now that they've been buffed.

can do another one? I mean with HUD color ect. becose I don't know how to aim properly and I am plaing on PS3 which has crappy graphics and smaller resolution than Pc which means I cant se dam thing!
I felt the same way... Until I bought a $5 HDMI cable. All HDMI cables are the same, except length, so don't buy anything expensive... But seriously, it increases clarity and graphics tenfold. My skill actually improved for things like sniping and vehicles because I could see down long ranges further.
Oh ya do one were you show us how to get out of a dog fight if you did please show me think I'll appreciate that allot bro
what would u say optimum mouse sensitivity on a jet would be?
+Technological Gamer Personally I use 20% in-game and 1600 dpi and find that gives me sufficient middle-ground between dog-fighting and strafing. But ultimately it just comes down to what works best for you :)

Nice new intro. Also I'm more of a heli pilot, so i must agree with you that you should take helis out in one run. If a jet fails to do that with me I shoot some heatseekers at them, my cannons (or rocketpods) and I'll hover near my anti-baserape cannons (yes I'm a dick). Due to this I almost never get taken out by jets and kill them quite often :D. Anyways great video, I'll try out your tips. I still have to practice a lot before I'm a decent jet pilot though :(.
You're not a dick man, that's a totally valid tactic, jets are var superior at air-to-air than heli's :). Practice makes perfect mate!

I don't know why, but because if this I get warned and deploy mah awesome non-dickish tactic. And the other day i got 2 WHOLE kills in a stealth jet, so you could say I'm progressing :p.

I think the one is bugged on Lost Islands, I swear it's shot me half way across the map.

Thanks for the tips :) But I prefer using a joystick to fly planes and helicopters, just cause you can do some silly stuff to piss off the enemy that's chasing you, like flying under bridges. Gotta love the rage in chat. :D
