My father was a painter and he passed away a cpuple years ago and left me all his supplies because Ive always loved art. I came to find a video that could guide me how to paint a REALISTIC ocean painting. And this is the first one that I found that looked really good. Anyways. Thank you for the tips. Water has been the hardest thing to paint for me, trying to get my head around the lines and shadows to make it look real. This is amazing, and has certainly help me to make the water much more realistic. Thank you so much for your knowledge.

Thank you Harry! Yes, patience is an important part when it comes to painting...you can do it alla prima but with two layers it is SO much easier and quicker :-)))
Its almost impossible for a human painter to paint waves that good, so you have to be the best realism painter alive .😍😵😵😀😀😈😈, Texas painting in abstract and real seems to be high in demand in the poster market .😉😀😀😀
I just love your artwork. You help me to learn a little bit more of how to put the colors in because that seems to be the most difficult for me. The values are very hard to establish especially with acrylics. You're very detailed in what you do and that's what I'm trying to get away from being, because I want to be more expessive in my work. I just love the detail that you put in and how you go about it. Thank you so much for sharing your work.

So I watch these sorts of videos and force myself to not skip through them to see that quicker progress... I guess I am trying to absorb some of the serious patience that people like you exhibit.
I know this dilemma...when a painting is not coming out the way I want it I also have to struggle sometimes REALLY HARD to get it finished properly...it is easy to fall into kind of a rush, even if you like a painting...but patience is a skill that can be developed over time at least, I can assure you :-)
