¡Muchas gracias! sí, la primera capa tiene que estar seca en este caso, realmente MUY seca, ¡la primera capa de pintura ya no debe disolverse cuando se aplica la segunda capa de pintura!
The realism of this rendering is astonishing😮😊 I really want to ask you about the sense of air in oil painting, what should be paid attention to,Thanks🌿
Thanks a lot :-))) I bought these small round brushes (there is no brand name unfortunately) on ebay Germany a few years ago, they seem not to be available at the moment any more...but they came in a set, pretty cheap, china made - so you should be able to use any other similar looking cheap set on ebay or amazon.
Thank you Emma! I put on just a bit of purified linseed oil to prevent the colour from getting sucked into the hdf plate that I am using for this painting here. Would I not do this the colour would basically be dry in an hour...way too fast for my pace of painting ;-)
Thank you Olivier! I almost always put on a first layer of colour and let this one dry completely. BONE DRY. May take days, sometimes a week or more. Then I put on the next and very often final layer of colour. And that`s the way I built up this painting here.
The colourless liquid is linseed oil - helps to "soak" the painting surface a little bit to make sure that I am able to blend the colours on it...the high density plates that I use for this painting here suck the colour in extremely...if I would not oil out the surface the paint would be nearly dry before I would be able to blend it properly.
Merci beaucoup! Pour une traduction, je devrais entrer le texte manuellement... pour chaque langue... malheureusement pas possible en raison du temps :-(
Such a phenomenal transition from the very rough blocking to the refined realism.

Hello,
Great videos! Could you tell us what those really fine brushes are? Size & brand? Thanks so much!!

Amazing work. I normally work with oil paint. Would I have the same effect?
Thank you Rachel :-))) I am using here also oil colour (water mixable oils). So there should be no problem for you to achieve the same effect
@@brennerfineart thank you
Fabulous! Exactly what I'd want like to paint. What did you put on the canvas right at the start?
Thank you Emma! I put on just a bit of purified linseed oil to prevent the colour from getting sucked into the hdf plate that I am using for this painting here. Would I not do this the colour would basically be dry in an hour...way too fast for my pace of painting ;-)

Congratulation for this vidéo. Finally you paint wet on wet all the time ? Perhaps you did explain that but i don' t understand english.
Thank you Olivier! I almost always put on a first layer of colour and let this one dry completely. BONE DRY. May take days, sometimes a week or more. Then I put on the next and very often final layer of colour. And that`s the way I built up this painting here.

Belki bir gün... ;-) Yeni fotoğraf motifleri için o kadar çok istek alıyorum ki maalesef ÇOK uzun zaman alabiliyor....
Is the 1st item applied water or linwood seed oil?
The colourless liquid is linseed oil - helps to "soak" the painting surface a little bit to make sure that I am able to blend the colours on it...the high density plates that I use for this painting here suck the colour in extremely...if I would not oil out the surface the paint would be nearly dry before I would be able to blend it properly.
