Velo Solex fuel pump REBUILD

In this video I rebuild the fuel pump on my old Velo Solex. Its a 3800 model but it pretty much the same on all Velo Solex models.
Glass balls and plastic seats! Its all nice and funky French engineering!

We saw a 1966 Velo Solex here in the UK a couple of weeks ago. An old gentleman had restored it as a pandemic project. He said it saved his legs walking to town and to the library.

hello i have a velo solex new pump it stops pumping after a short ride check all the lines are clean any ideas?

I cant get the plastic out and now its ruined can you help otherwhise i need to buy a new pump
