What a week we've had!! We think we've been scammed, Cheryl has broken a tooth and we end up with no power in the van when we are on a trip!!

Suffolk (Lowestoft) my home country, Try Bungay (Suffolk) & Ditchingham (Norfolk) next to the River Waveney for some nice old pubs and if you like fishing there are some nice lakes/pits there too.

That’s was really interesting, I’ll add that to my list of places to visit 👍🏼
What might be worth looking at getting is a “ Victron Smart low voltage disconnect”. There around £50, if you put it between the live feed to your heater and fuse box it’s fed from you can set the voltage to go off at at a point you choose (on the smart version) so if you ever forget again you’ll still have enough remaining power for lights etc.

Alternatively for ~£40, the Durite split-charge relay disconnects at ~10.8V (saves your battery being damaged) or the HC Cargo one disconnects at 12.8V (only on while battery is charging).
(The HC Cargo also senses both batteries so if either are charging both are charging).

@@alanhat5252 I think a SCR is meant more for charging a battery from a battery rather than acting like a relay /switch to disconnect a circuit like the Victron does 👍🏼

32:14 I've got a woodburner in my van & have had no issues.
It's on the driver's side to reduce the chances of the chimney snagging in hedges.

You really need some wireless microphones as it was impossible to hear you over the engine noise and on the walk about. Better to add a dead cat to eliminate the wind noise.

We always do a check and only use footage with good sound quality. We've watched it back and can't see an issue. Will definitely keep it mind. Hoping the new camera will be better all round 🤞
