This little thing is beautiful, great work guys! As soon as I saw it I thought of so many uses straight away, and a great way for people to get into midi Are you able to add source audio one series/neuro hub to you list of videos? Thanks!
Hey man I sent an email about this the other day but, can a single multijack (I have midibaby3) support a dual expression pedal ?). I have been trying to achieve this with the dual footswitch option since theoretically it can read that data but I was hoping you could either clarify or perhaps add it to another update
Would be pretty simple to get 4 or 6, you can use the LED indicator to show which preset you're on. Check the rest of this playlist for details on how to best set that up. You could also consider the DMC.micro Pro which is a bit larger but has a lot more horsepower, that might be a better choice if you need a lot of presets available.
Hey I love the concept & execution of this device. I've been looking for ways to convert MIDI Clock from my looper, to Tap Tempo & synchronize other pedals. I have 2 questions: 1. Can the MIDI Baby convert MIDI Clock to Tap Tempo? 2. Is it possible to use a Y-cable or splitter box like a mult to send this Tap Tempo signal to multiple pedals? Thanks!!
Sorry, the MIDI Baby can do none of those things. I'd recommend our SMARTClock Gen3, which is designed to do exactly what you want, albeit in a larger package.
Would expression input theoretically work over this too? I have a midi baby 3 with 2 expression devices connected. This is for gen loss mkii it has an 'expresaion over midi'' cc in the manual..
@@DisasterAreaDesigns do you think the EXP 1 and 2 devices attached to midi baby 3 would also work through the gen loss if it is run through the MIDI input of an HX stomp, then through the MIDI out of the stomp into the midi input of the genloss? HX edit has a a Command Center that allows you to send almost any CC or program change with any device attached to the stomp. Thank you!
It's actually a fully programmable MIDI controller with three different interfaces (USB, 1/4", 5-pin DIN.) I know it LOOKS like a simple footswitch, but appearances can be deceiving.

Also would there be a way to make it so the midi baby changes LED colour as you scroll through presets so I can keep track like on my NNB?
@@ryanrowlandson9914 re: Source Audio yes - we're waiting for the C4 to be released to show that off. re: LED changes? That's happening TODAY.
@@ryanrowlandson9914 th-cam.com/video/aGbvduINW-c/w-d-xo.html here you go. Don't forget to update your firmware first.

Hey y’all. Great work! How many presets could I save using this with my chase bliss Dark World?

Can we see this as a Freeze function on this for the Strymon Bigsky?
Sure - send CC97 to the BigSky, that's "freeze."
Do you have a video for controlling a Jackson Audio device?

Sure - configure your expression input to send CC100 = expression over MIDI. Done.

@@agharta42 Sure, why not. Should be fine. If it's not email me pls.
@@DisasterAreaDesigns okay thanks. Gonna be a dope board
Is there a way to program the Baby’s LED to flash with the tempo tapped in?
Sure - if you enable MIDI clock the LED will flash in time. MIDI Clock on, then set one of the actions for your button to Set Tempo.
Hi, could you do a vid like this for a Meris pedal?
Sure, I'll put it on the list!
Jackson Audio Golden Boy please !!!!
Hx stomp please

I don’t mean to be an ass but... isn’t this just a glorified footswitch?
