I want to know how to use my DPC5 3rd gen with my noise gate, and effects loop in the four cable method. I wrote disaster area, And they told me I couldn't do it unless I had the DPC 8 EZ. But even if I have that, I still have no clue how it would work.
Can you put out more videos on the dpc5 gen3 in regards to setting up midi with Strymon pedals? The manuals are very poorly written. I can’t even change different presets on mine. Very tempted to return it since it’s so confusing.

Does the dpc 5 have midi in? I want to control it with a Morningstar, but still have instant access to footswitches. Should I just look at getting the dpc8 instead?
Yes, it does, the 5-pin port has input on pins 1 and 3. We offer a y-cable that breaks these out, or you can make your own cable if you're handy. But the DPC-5 is a bit overkill to use as a slave if you already have a master controller in your rig so consider the DPC-8EZ.

It’s the same process if you use the DCM 3 XL gen 3 with the DPC 8ez ?
Yes. Also the same for any Gen3 DMC as master.
