Hi Matthew, I’m using DMC3 but the only thing I can access Hx stomp is preset up and down. I wonder does it need pacific cable or anything you can help me?
I can't figure how to load user presets onto my SA pedal.I got rid of my C-4 for this reason and got a Meris Enzo but I decided to give S.A. another try with the Aftershock but nobody seems to possess this knowledge.
It's basically the same procedure for Aftershock and C4, you need to use the Neuro App on your phone or the Neuro Desktop on your computer. I'd recommend you reach out to Source Audio support, they're really helpful. www.sourceaudio.net/support.html
Hi, thank you for the video. Same here, I want to use my Dmc Micro to control 3 devices (CBA), and my boss ES5 to talk to the DMC, but I can't find out how to make the Dmc receive PC from the ES5
I've set my new board up to use my dmc-3xl gen 3 as a preset expander. My midi chain is Morningstar MC6 > HX Stomp > dmc-3xl > dpc-8ez > Nemesis > Ventris. I made a midi cable with midi on pins 1 and 3 to go into the dmc and I am sending midi out of the multi-jack. My MC6 is communicating with the dmc but I cannot get messages through the dmc to the other pedals downstream. Is this possible and if so, what am I doing wrong?
Hey Matthew! I have both the DPC-5 and DMC.micro (both are amazing, by the way :)) and I'm wondering how to make them work together. Does the info in this vid mean that I can basically use the DPC to control the DMC as if it were a MIDI pedal itself? So, on the DPC, assign the DMC to DevA, which can have its own presets set up? This is probably getting over the top for my pedalboard, but in theory this sounds like I'd be able to control 3 pedals with the DMC, then 3 more on the 3 available devices on the DPC that are left over. If I'm off-base, how would you run those two pedals together?
Sure, you can do that. The DPC-5 Gen3 can handle up to 4 MIDI devices, as can the DMC.micro / Pro, as far as setting it up, that's a bit too involved for a TH-cam comment but if you don't mind emailing on support at disasterareadesigns dot com we can get into it.
Cool info! I'm sending expression pedal to my C4, and using the DMC micro into the C4 for patch changes. Is there any benefit/reason to send the expression pedal through the micro?
The HX Effects sends out program changes 0, 1, 2, 3 in bank1, 4, 5, 6, 7 in bank2, and so on. The easiest thing is to just map 1:1, but you can also use Command Center to send any program change message that you want to the DMC.micro. In that case you'd set the "InCH" input channel on the DMC.micro to match whatever channel you were sending in Command Center, but I'd still recommend you put it somewhere outside the range of your connected devices. So if your pedals are 1,2,3 then I'd put the HX MIDI Base channel at 16 and the DMC InCH at, say, 15.
@@DisasterAreaDesigns Is there any way to do this with snapshots on an hx stomp, rather than presets? Or, would I have to use instant commands? I would like to use my dmc 3xl as a preset expander but I like the idea of using snapshots within the stomp.
@@matthewwillis5957 Just checked - Command Center instant messages are sent when you select a snapsot. Not sure whether you can have different ones for each snapshot but it's worth a shot.
I've been trying to find the right product for exactly what you're using the insert junction for -- redundancy! I'm sold.
HI! What is the "Aukey" (the small square thing to the left of the wireless)? I googled it but did not get any result!

Happy to help, best to email through the site.

You'll need our MIDI y-cable to access the MIDI input on the DMC.micro. It's available here: www.disasterareadesigns.com/shop/p/midi-y-cable
@@DisasterAreaDesigns Will any MIDI y cable work?
@@alexcrosby5679 Probably not, there isn't really a standard for wiring on these. We have the cables available on our website.
@@DisasterAreaDesigns Hi. Is there a way (diagram) to make this cable? It's kind hard to order this from where I am.. Thanks
You gotta play something thru that rig, my man!
@source-audio how do I program a midi3xl to run both a c4 micro and a digital delay?

Does that DMC switch bank up and down a boss or nux looper ?

Hi Matthew! I'm not looking to control effects with this but rather changing amp presets on the fly on my Bias head... Would this work for that?
Maybe? If it has MIDI then probably yes. Best to contact our support crew and we can help you figure it out.

Sure, you can send that same expression data to any or all of your other MIDI devices.
So if you bank up to bank 2 does each footswitch have to select P01, P02, P03, and P04, or can you select P05, P06, P07, and P08?

Will this work with my Boss ES-8 and/or Source Audio Neuro Hub?
Sure!
