It's been quiye a while since you said you would make a video on using the MIDI Baby with the Line 6 HX Stomp. It can't take that long, surely, and it would make a big difference to a lot of people.
Just got the MB3. Trying to assign an LED color for on/bypassed state. You demonstrate using a PC for this and the value changes the color. My HX Stomp is set to MIDI CH 1. How can I send a PC for LED on/off that is on the same channel without changing my preset to that same channel number. PC1 changes to preset one, PC2 changes to preset two and so on because they're on the same channel. What am I missing?
Disaster Area Designs thanks a lot. I’m between buying the baby and the micro. I just need to scroll between presets and it I can plug a dual expression to it then even better
Hi Disaster Areas - I'd love a demo video on using the Cloudburst with Midi Baby - I'd like to have, say 3 or 4 presets with a hold function for the at least one of the presets. Really appreciate your help :)
Yes and no - you CAN use the info in this video to set up the LEDs to turn on and off when you send the relevant messages, but the Baby won't / can't know how your blocks are set up. If you have a preset or snapshot where the block is engaged, but the Baby thinks it's bypassed, they'll never be in sync.
Having fun programming my MB3->ZDS Shifter Pro. led off state is tricky, I managed to get orange and white using ‘no action’ steps. Is there an easier way to get off states in chosen colors??
I am trying to use MIDI baby 3 with Ableton Live 11 for live looping. I want the left pedal to do the tap tempo, the middle pedal to start the recording of the looper and to undo the loop with a hold, and the right pedal to stop the playback. This is really confusing for me. Please help
You can, but you'll need to use one of the loops as the send and return for the amp. Send us an email at support at disasterareadesigns dot com and we can help you out.
Sure, you can set the first Baby to send MIDI from its MultiJack /ring/ and the other to receive MIDI on its MultiJack, then connect them with a TRS cable. Take the MIDI output from the second Baby and you're all good.
I'll do a video showing how this works in a few days. Until then: MIDI Baby - USB = HOST, LED off follow FS1 PRESS, then set the PRESS to send MIDI CC104 values 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Send messages in batch with 1 message per action. On the C4 set Skip USB power check = on. Then connect the C4 to the Baby using the gHOST adapter dongle and USB cable. Tapping the Baby footswitch should then make the C4 upper LED blink, and it'll step through the first 8 presets.
Disaster Area Designs I tried these settings to connect my MIDI Baby 3 to a C4 but looks like no messages are being sent to the C4 (upper LED not blinking). Are there any extra steps that I have to follow to connect using a MIDI Baby 3? Thanks in advance.
Is there a way to get my tempo synced for a Line 6 M9, and an EHX Canyon, which has a regular tap tempo jack in. Like, just tap the tempo on one device and both pedals will have the same exact tempo. Is this possible with the Midi Baby? or should i look at a different product in order to this?

Will you do a video on possibilities with the HX Stomp please!?
Sure, will do.

Please do a boss 200 series video. The midi baby is an awesome pedal so versatile
So, there seems to be no way to use LED like a stompbox on-off state for block bypass. Am I getting this right? I am configuring my new MIDI Baby 3.

How about a Midi Baby 3 Zoom MS60b Video!

Hello, I'm sorry to ask about the dpc5 here! Can you make a four-wire connection with dpc5? if so, can you signal the inputs and outputs? Thank you!
You can, but you'll need to use one of the loops as the send and return for the amp. Send us an email at support at disasterareadesigns dot com and we can help you out.
@@DisasterAreaDesigns I just sent an email.🙂🙂🙂
Hi. Can this be set to receive midi tempo and blink in tempo?
No. It only generates its own clock, and there would be no way for it to know where the "beat" was in any case.
Any way to chain two midi baby’s together? I’m using it with HX Stomp and need a few more commands.

MIDI Baby to C4 synth?. I bought a MIDI Baby. No idea how to set it up for C4 Synth

I'd recommend the micro.clock + an MJ-5P cable.
Thanks! any difference if i get the SMARTClock Gen3 instead? it's the only available one on amazon :(
Peavey Nicolas that’ll work great.
