PlayStation Fanboys watching this: "😱😤😠😡🤬🤮😭"
Xbox fanboys watching this: what’s a VR??? 🤔 🤣🤣🤣
VR isn't profitable sony lost 50 million already from it @@jacobross735
There you go now, hush hush
😂😂😂
You forgot the Eggplant Water combo
PlayStation fanboys are embarrassing themselves by saying PlayStation is great, but Xbox is disgusting.
lol what?
Smoking crack isn't good for you.
Xbox ruined every game it owns.
Sony put so much money into development its unsustainable.
........of course this is all for shareholders......
But but they're both in a similar situation for completely different reasons.
Xbox died from AiDs
Sony died from skydiving
Your welcome
Both Xbox and SOYny Cuckstation are trash.
One has to be a non-fanboy to understand
yep
I’m just gonna get a 4090 and be done for a while
You'll be glad. I was. Get an i9 though to avoid CPU bottlenecks. Also get an external fan, that baby is hot.
Or just get a 7800x3d and use an air cooler as they run nice and cool
Now I don't regret my PSVR 2 purchase. Because if I can use it on PC I don't need to go ahead and buy another expensive headset in the $1000 dollar range. I can use that money for a better PC.
Im a console gamer and lately I've been flirting with buying a PC.... yes a pre build ... strictly for VR gaming..i already own an oculus 3 ..which many vr gamers state it is ideal for PC VR gaming ... conflicted...
depending on the price, it would be the perfect alternative to Meta headsets and not having to pay 1000+€ for an old hardware like the valve index, so if they don't fumble it I'm sold.
damn can't wait for Saturday
Yooooo. Bro...I did not know psvr was THAT expensive. I'm a gamer, I don't fight for one side. Prefer Xbox but will pick up a PS5 and switch soon...550 tho. P.s. if the psvr hits pc at 399.99... there will be war
Sony loves selling hardware, but not supporting it with software. How are they going to support software on the PC. Its going to be crucial to its success. Would have been a lot better if they had pancake lenses, because I would go with the quest3 all day on the PC. Let's hope it doesn't turn out like the psvr1 did. And if it does, let's hope there's no psvr3, because Sony.
VR fails everytime it’s tried. Until the stupid helmet is no longer needed, vr will never catch on. Holodecks gonna be the only thing that will work, and we don’t have the tech yet.
Not like these consoles can't do stereoscopic 3d...
Puertocrackrock77 will hate this video
Sony never supported PSVR 2 on PS5 so it flopped, now they're hoping that, while still not supporting it, that PC gamers will support it for some reason.
Almost nobody bought it

Alex wants PSVR2 to use on steam so he can play hit Futa/Hentai backlog. You sly dog you.
I've said from day one the psvr2 was going to fail. Overpriced and not enough game support.
It's barely hear 2....this fake news
IF Playstation VR2 requires a PSN account, then PSVR2 is still doomed.
It needs tethering to the PC by a USB while you’re playing mind you 🤭
@@feeamerie5011 as do most other VR headsets. Its not necessarily a non starter for me.
@@wwjnz9263standalone HMDs are the standard. Ya having to compete with Valve and Vive to compete with tethered HMDs. So psvr2 is lackluster
@@wwjnz9263 Becasue of recent Playstation crazy decisions, I am afraid it will require some kind of Sony launcher or at least PSN account to use it....
But if it will work on PC it will be cracked someday.
PC isn't going to save the psvr2. Its not like there aren't pcvr headsets. The meta quest3 is better in every way. If they had an enticing vr game library. At this point, seems like Sony has already given up on the psvr2 and is moving onto the next console. If they only made a top their vr headset with pancake lenses and wireless, then it could sell well on PC. Only thing that will save the psvr2 is if they cut the price in half, its already selling for that much in the used market. It can't just be hyped up at launch and not supported in any way afterwards to make it meaningful at its price point.
PC has been saving PlayStation on everything.
Haha so true.
This.
Why Sony is slowly moving all of its roster to PC. It doesnt want to scare off its console fanbase until they move completely forward with PC.
Microsoft SteamStation Professional Edition 24H2 😂
@@jonnhanzo9529nope, you’ll be waiting years to play PS games just like GTAVI 😂
The real reason why the PSVR2 fail is the backwards compatibility from the getgo, forcing PSVR1 players in the rebuying games was a big L, I mainly play on PC but still have a big PSVR1 Collection, a lont a people including my self sold their PSVR1 units in anticipation of the PSVR2, but SONY killed the headset before launch by telling PSVR1 owners that their game collection was trash and need to buy in to a whole new ecosystem, PSVR1 owners said No, headset died.
Yea this is true. The developer has to make it compatible with PSVVR 2. No Man Sky was PSVR 1 only until Hello Games updated it for PSVR 2. Most games companies aren't doing that though.
@@ignisspiritus6392 Sony could have provided a Compatibility mode like they did for PS4->PS5, they refused
The tracking technology is completely different the game's would need rebuilt from the ground up to use the New tracking. Devs actually did rebuild psv1 games for psvr 2 and gave you them as a free update@@AstraMilitarumFodder
This isn't honest, because they are forcing us to keep the PSVR 1 & have 2 libraries and 2 headsets on PS5, because they aren't even reselling most games, they're just creating a new library. They can't force developers to upgrade the old games that use a different camera setup, so Sony isn't doing anything to the consumer.
Great games from GEN1 - DELETED. On consoles this behaviour was always annoying, whenever it was not possible. However: The interesset in Flat-Titles was always big enough, so consoles do not really rely on backwardscompatiblity. Never did...mb PS5 ist the first generation, where it feels a bit different - but thats due to other reasons, not the missing interesst or willingness on the customers side.
In VR however, really HQ games are a rarity. To skip the very best ones of the last generation, not updating them for next GEN was a HUGE miss on Sonys side.
Having now RE7, AB Rescue Mission, Wipeout, Hitman 3, Squadrons and so on in better quality on PSVR2 would give people so much more to choose from.
For the old customer base it would have been cool to see the improvements...and new customers would be just happy to see those HQ-titles beeing availble at all and adding up to the libary.
Alex has been waiting for this so he can finally play thru his furry and futa games in his back catalogue

Yeah I got to go to Dreamcast Guy so I know what system he's talking about, lol. Would be funny as hell if Alex did lift a whole ass PC up in a video just once.

The problem with VR is that no studio worth it's salt is going to spend top resources making games for such a small customer base, and at $550, not a whole lot of gamers are going to buy VR without any good games. Until it's included for free with console, it's never going to catch fire.
I never saw it catching on from the get go.
I don't like these gimmicks when I'm playing games. I like to keep it simple.
which is why its good its on the pc as it has a ton of indie VR games
🤣🤣🤣 so Valve is not worth its salt?? To make Half life Alyx. They only skyrocketed sales for there $1,000 HMD
And HL:Alyx is a very demanding game to get the best experience requires high end hardware. So best experience ya spending around $3500 for a single game,
PC users will spend that.
Its console user mondset where you think a game company will only make a game for the majority….
When a certain game dev said it himself
“A Game made for everybody is a game made for nobody”
The amount of cope on the psvr2 subreddit is laughably insane. It is actually fun to read.
If the cope is admitting the headset is great and wanting Sony to pay more attention....yeah??😂

Weird because I've just looked in both the psvr2 and psvr subreddits and all I can find are people welcoming this adapter
It always is. It’s why we love fanboy content.
@@iansantiago6526 We can't even buy replacement controllers for the PSVR2 I don't see how can anyone could call it great when even the absolute bare minimum level of support is not being met
Back at it again baby!
Fanboys are in panic mode now 😂😂
Got it as a birthday present for myself, still happy with the purchase but I can absolutely see the writing on the wall if something doesn't change. I wouldn't even be salty if they lowered the price, it needs to happen. Also HOLY SHIT THEY DONT SELL REPLACEMENT CONTROLLERS!!! I found this out while at work KNOWING i left them just sitting on my couch with a dog and cat running around the house and almost had a mini panic attack, threw the whole kit back in the box they came in and that's where they stay unless I'm using them.
PSVR 2 was dead on arrival. $550 is a very good price for a decent VR headset. But when you lock it to one platform, all of that value goes out the window. Even worse that it wasn’t even backwards compatible with PSVR 1.
I see a lot of comments saying it won’t save it, but have you actually played VR games? I do have the PSVR2 and the experience is amazing. Unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. There’s some really cool exercise games and GT7 is immersive and amazing. The only thing I see is a barrier is the price. I will try it on PC. I hope it’s good if it is, I see it being around a while. All they need to do is drop the price to about $399 and I don’t think they could keep them in stock. I’m hooked and I was a super skeptic and it was not going to buy anything VR but then I tried it on a display at Best Buy and I was hooked right away. I was so drawn into the experience that I realize it added a whole new level to gaming that I was unaware of.
PC can't even save its own VR. The market place for quality original AAA content is non existent. Some of the best content came to VR 4 years ago when the AAA studios got interested thanks to PSVR1. a modding community is not a market place.
Honestly, am I alone in seeing VR as the same type of Gimmick as motion capture peripherals like Kinect? I'm sure it can work, I just don't personally see how it can work, especially if it isn't more of an "alternative" way to play games, like Mobile and such.
Genuinely interested what others think about this 🤔
Have you tried it? It's easy to make assumptions about something without trying it. Not saying you haven't just know a lot who say similar things haven't. It's honestly a really cool way to experience game worlds.
There aren't a whole ton of really great games but there are a few dozen great ones. Half life Alyx for instance I say is a game all half life fans NEED to play. There is nothing quite like it. There are points where you have to physically cover your mouth as to not breathe toxic gas making you cough and alert an unkillable enemy. There's honestly too many mechanics to list for Alyx.
Other games like Pavlov, Contractors/showdown, population one, breachers, etc. feel really good in VR when you get the gun mechanics down. Jumping out a plane and parachuting down to start looting houses for weapons. It gets the adrenaline flowing like crazy.
Then there's the horror games. If you get scared easily or just enjoy being scared VR horror games can be terrifying lol. I even use mods to make flatscreen games VR. Fighting trolls in Valheim and exploring deep waters in Subnautica were some of the best experiences in VR.
That all being said I have been using VR headsets since the early days of Oculus CV1.
Right now psvr2 is completely pointless.
Better off with the quest 3 or a different PC vr kit like valve or something. Psvr as of right now is the worst way to get into vr....until sony makes psvr2 back compat with psvr1 and /or they make Sony vr games it's pretty pointless
Ps5 has some cool but pointless peripherals like psvr and portal. PlayStation needs more first party games and less peripherals for now. They made these expensive accessories yet don't really support them. I'm thinking maybe next year or so they'll get more attention once more PS5 native games come out. Sony should definitely open up it's psvr to PC completely.
@@666Dahereticeven though it's less powerful I've definitely had some fun with the meta quest 3 ....with a decent vr library VR can be VERY fun. I was just talking about PSVR...for now.
@@666DahereticI have tried it on the PS4 and my opinion hadn't changed.
I completely agree it's a gimmick and I'm not even remotely interested.

I hope it helps fund to eventually get another AAA vr experience . 3rd party gets pretty darn close but.. that's why i choose ps5. That and I'm lazy.
Lots of doom and gloom around this headset but since I'm a relatively casual gamer, i don't need many games to stay busy. .. i will need to sort out who's pc I'll need to comandeer to finally try HF Alyx. Probably my only negative with Sony's offering😅
Sony were unable to make Windows drivers for PS3, PS4 and PS5 gamepads, so how the hell are are they supposed to get their VR work on PC?
They have killer apps like DOAX3 and refuse to use them for fear of mUh MaLe GaYzE

This is awesome! Probably one of the best headsets for the best price! I was looking for a new headset for a while and this one has everything i want without spending as much money as for another gaming PC.
Why do people keep assuming PCVR is a way bigger thing than PSVR/2? If it is so big, why is it not firing up on its own?
The Cyube VR Dev tells, that he sells more on PSVR2 than on PC and his overall impression is, that there are much more (very low quality) games on PC, but basically they have absolutley no effect in creating any excitement outside of the VR-Bubble. The only big feature in my eyes is the Injectormod for UE5..which is a speciality. Cool but requires Horsepower and it is a "mod"....so no official sign, that VR is getting more love from the industry itself.
At least the dev is one reliable source. Might be also, since Cyube VR is special on VR2 - no minecraftsupport or anything like that. So this is not the final verdict for sure.
However: How is Sony targeting a new market with that adapter? They absolutley do not - at least at the moment.
It is made for VR2 AND (and that is important) PS5-Owners.
Nobody is going to get a VR2 for Steam without owning already a PS5, because for that pricetag, Quest 3 is the way, way superior product.
Otherwhise they could have made the PSVR2-Adapter supporting Feedback, HDR, Eyetracking-Rendering and releasing their own VR2-Titles supporting those features on Steam or in some alternative way.
Without selling their own Games (which are very limited in numbers), this is no new market for them. It is more like a "hey look, we are allowing you this aswell just like META with its Quest-Series".
They try to compensate that missing feature now, but it is pretty late...welcome somehow..but again: late...and they would better bring Astrobot 2 as Hybrid so VR2-Players can play their beloved mascott in VR once more.
Or is simply just another bad sign: We do not care anymore at all and here you go, you are not longer trapped in a closed ecosystem - you can play on PC aswell now...and try to hide that way from their responsibility for their own product.
At last there is one good thing (which is also a disappointment at the same time): You finaly can play Squadrons, Persistence and Hitman 3 again on PSVR2......with the help of SteamVR/PCVR.
Sigh Sony....sigh....
£500 for PSVR2 + £60 for adapter for PC VR with none of the PS Features or Q3 for £399 , is PS taking the piss or what.
If PSVR2 drops to 400$ on PC I'm throwing my 1st edition occulus in the trash. Which would be my 3rd headset....
98% of psvr2 games were ports from pc anyway. For PSVR2 to ever have been successful, they needed Japan to pick up VR game development (japanese exclusives have always been the mainstay of Playstation consoles: th-cam.com/video/VSbC6ry9OXw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BUnEJx8pNf869htZ )..And that wasnt going to happen with Playstation headquarters sitting in California making the decisions.
Lil bro Hulst, new CEO of sony, said singleplayer exclusives wont be day 1, you have to buy ps5 for those. He doesn't understand, and sony will never understand the PC platform. Sony are the originators of SecuRom and Denuvo creators. Think about that.
Why in the Hell would we spend $649.99 on PSVR2 when we have Valve Index for $500 that has a higher rating. Plus, Steam has way more games for it.
PlayStation will never make the PSVR2 open source, I'm calling it right now. When Bethesda wanted to bring mods to console, Xbox was all for it. Quest mods, armor mods, weapon mods, etc came to Xbox. Bethesda fought Sony for months to bring console mods to PS. And when mods finally did come, it was all just recolored in-game assets, no external mods ie quest mods, armor mods, weapon mods, etc. I'm not defending Sony in any way, I'm just putting it out there.
Alex: PlayStation VR Mark II is doomed. Me: What's that? the grass is green? Note the lack of surprise.
If the ps5 had backwards compatibility from ps1 to ps3, i feel like the console would have sold more units. But since emulation exists I think that's one of the main reasons why the console could have failed hard.
What VR headset is for around $200? I would really like to know. Because where I live, they're pretty expensive.
I just want the PSVR2 to work on Linux, because VR Gaming is the one last thing that I need to move to Linux, and to be honest, trying to play VR with anything other than a HTC Vive or Valve Index absolutely sucks.
I hear fanboys already at twitter, alex is gonna be busy. I hope dreamcast guy doesn't make an *ss of himself, AGAIN!!!
Lol maybe if Sony restores Stellar Blade to what it was in 1.0 and lifted the restriction of purchase of Helldivers 2 and Ghost of Tsushima from other countries, I might consider it... Keyword might.
no vr, no gyro, no adaptive triggers, no haptics. TWO machines every dev hates. fk deadbox.
God of War Rangarök will require a PSN account on PC, the price is good though at 60$. 🤷♀️
It will be great to use the psvr2 on PC. I only have VR on PS4/5 which I would like to use it on PC but my laptop doesn't allow VR support. If I can use it with my Steamdeck, it will be a great option for a VR option.
I think this is really 'too little, too late' as far as selling new PSVR2 units, but I already have this thing, and you won't hear ME complaining about it being compatible with what is unarguably a FAR more lucrative platform. I know I'll get a lot more use out of it on my PC, so that adapter can't come out fast enough IMO.
Psvr2 cost $ 614.99 in California bought it last week
Wow still feeling victorious, all the main ps5 features stripped away with the psvr2 adapter. No adaptive triggers, no dfr, no hdr, no headset haptics, no eye tracking. Only rumble in the hand controls.
Yet you hear nothing about it in the games media because it's Playstation. If this was Xbox they would make an hour long video about it saying Xbox is going full third party lmao.
From the same man named Alex who said himself that he wish psvr2 would come to PC. Now it's here now he's bitching like an xbot lol. Meanwhile other PC VR are way more expensive! It's to funny to be real!
I have a PSVR2 so this is good news because I don't use it right now. Most of my games are not compatible. No Mans Sky is great in VR and was updated for PSVR2.
I don't use my quest 2 enough but I do really enjoy playing it,
it's good for poker 😂 the PSVR2 was always going to be the next vita
Sony = clear messaging but dead wrong and living in the past
Microsoft = sketchy messaging but generally pretty correct and forward thinking
The Helldivers 2 fiasco is very much still ongoing. The game is still not available in 170+ countries (and neither is GoT). I'm not sure why we are calling this a win and moving on. Sony have learned nothing.
Nope going to wait to buy the PSVR2 for PC. Their is always a catch with PlayStation. I will wait until you review the product.
Didn't VCG get bought by IGN? Another Sony propaganda machine now.
I want a headset. I really do. But it feels like a gimmick. And it's way too expensive for something Id probably only use a few times😅
The headset is coming to PC, PSVR2 will be on PS. PC isn’t getting any of its best features. It’s not even getting HDR 😂
I have to agree. I said the same thing day 1, they should have had it work with PC and it would have been a success.
Better late than never I guess, but my question is why does it need an adapter? Is there a chip on it that looks for a handshake with PlayStation? If so, send out a firmware update that allows a software handshake on PC, unless it's not flash capable but that seems crazy in this day and age. Anyway, I would not be surprised if the adapter is just an unnecessary cash grab (Sony likes that), and that a software solution could have been implemented. Time will tell I guess, maybe down the road, once they sell off existing stock, they'll release a V2 that has PC compatibility out of the box without the need for an adapter... that would be the right thing to do.
I wish there was more than Beatsaber and Half-Life:Alyx on VR that I had interest in. I can't justify the cost for 2 games.
Alex is always right, most of the time. GG, Alex. You never disappoint. For the most part.
Why does it always comes down to PC players... It's almost like we are burdened to save the gaming industry. First we had to save Xbox games, then we had to save Playstation games, now we'll have to save PSVR2 also and if the predictions are right and Nintendo is really going after certain emulators to release their games on PC then well have to save Nintendo too🤦😂
Sony's fault!
Outside the actual Playstation itself, they release the hardware with a title or two from Playstation studios then abandon it to third party developers.
From the PSP onwards they have progressively gotten worse.
Like Microsoft and the Xbox, they have to give gamers a reason to care.
It is not normal USBC. That is why it doesn't have compression artifacts like Quest 2 and 3 on PC has.
Sony don't understand PC gamers at all. they think that PC gamers will buy an inferior console + pay for multiplayer when they don't subscribe to PSN for free for Helldivers 2, and thinking that PC gamers will buy their console instead of waiting for PC version of their games. PC gamers waited 4 years for GoW and Sony don't get the hint that PC gamers will wait and not go to PS. and after all this Sony says that they want PC gamers to go to PS. they don't get it at all when it's right there in front of their face and tells them "nope".
I still think SIE will try to bend pc gaming to its will, looking throughout history Ive never know SIE of a company to play nice without getting an ass whooping first by its (potential) customers. Personally I have no interest in vr, I really dont like "headsets", after 30 minutes or so they start to annoy the hell out of me.
Sorry but because it will be able to play PCVR games does not mean it failed. It means Sony is doing something big to propel it forward. Love mine and can’t wait to have an expanded library.
With Sony restricting two-third of the world from purchasing their current ported games on PC, it won't save them. Even I will not save it.
The only motivation I will have to buy PSVR2 is when it comes to PC and is on sale for $200. Any more than that, I'm not interested
Just watched the State of Play and it was a pretty solid 4/10.
They showed absolutely nothing at least for me that peaked my interest.
Meanwhile Herman Hulst says Live Service PlayStation games will come to PC Day/date but states that the single player games will be used to try and get PC gamers to buy a PS5 in order to play the sequels lol.
They dropped the ball so hard not releasing it on PC at launch. It was the perfect time to undercut sales of the upcoming Quest 3 for people like me who were looking to upgrade from an aging Quest 2. Guess who ended up with a Quest 3 instead. 🙋♂
maybe this is a precursor to seeing some of Sonys VR exclusives come to PC. I hear good things about the RE games in VR for example.
but I don't want to save it tho lolll Sorry sony... we got beef (helldivers 2/single player games)
When Xbox would have a vr than you need gamepass for it? And xbox games are not on PC? Omg serieus you fanboy people xbox or ps are so negative and blind.
This whole pc day and date with PS Soft and Hardware will really kick off with the PS6, till then PS will still just do it here and there with their Big Games but it will come.
good thing the psvr2 uses a normal VR contriller lay out. should not be much it will not play. will be a good mid range optionb for people that don't want to buy facebook hardwere
You're not gonna talk about Epic Games' Unreal Engine authoritarian bullshit?
The main issue with VR is that it's too expensive.
It's a hard sell for anyone, especially to someone that has never experienced it before.
Still, I truly believe most people that say they aren't interested in VR have probably never tried it.
There own fault for not forcing developers to make vr ports for their games. I’m looking at you ea games dead space remake.
It was always a no brainer. Really one of the most confusing decisions they ever made. Why wouldn't you make your VR Headset PC compatible where the most VR games are?
pc gamers is going to do what playstation gamers won't and make the psvr 2 successful
