- I had planned to use this footage for another video, but I changed my mind... So I made a little helper video out of it, as it might potentially be of use to someone.
This little helper video shows the functionality of the Märklin Electronic controller 6600. It is a very useful device for people still running vintage analogue Märklin model trains. Aside from shuttle control, it is also does station stops as well as allows a more precise control of analogue Märklin 3-rail locomotives thanks to its electronics.
This device should not be used with digital locomotives.
II hope you enjoy the video. If you do, please help the channel in reaching a wider audience by subscribing or hitting the like button.

Thank you very much. I have to much of an analog layout to ever go digital.
Glad I could help!
Interesting stuff, i believe i‘ll buy and test it for the acceleration and brake function , thanks for sharing
🙏👍
Thank you for sharing. The 6600 is the final breakthrough in the Marklin analog system. Highly desirable units.
Glad you enjoyed the video.
Heel goed en duidelijk uitgelegd.
Bedankt hier voor.
no problem.
Excellent demonstration Thank you for the video
Interesting video. Thumps up. Greetings Andre. 👍👍👍🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️
Thanks Andre.
thanks for the explanations, greetings Kai
No worries!
👍Great!
Thank you! Cheers!
Very informetive video. I am going to set up a shuttle soon on my lauout. So thanks for the help. Bluefox.
Glad it was helpful! Remember: no digital locos!
@@The3rdRail Yes I know, I am only anolog so no worries.
Excellent as always, great addition when it works smoothly 😁Hopefully this will encourage others to try?
I hope so too!
Súper 👍 👍 👍
thanks
Excellent!
But do they have the same track sections in "K" track?
sure. They are called switching track or "Schaltgleis" in German.
Thanks again.
I wonder if it only worked well with the electronic reverse circuit but not the old relays
It works very well with both. The reverser doesn't really play a role on how well it works. Every loco has different characteristics, so the device needs to be set accordingly. The most recent electronic reversers with motor regulation (3500 series of locomotives) and analog locos with a can or faulhaber motor don't work well, actually the reverser in these unit can even get damaged if used with a 6600.
