Can confirm the french crowds are insane. Coming from someone in the smash community, the french spectators give their players the biggest power up. There's a bit of a running joke in the scene about a french stream set-up at certain tournaments called 'The French Dimension', where french players play some of their matches, and basically if you go to that set-up against a french player you lose. The crowds just suffocate you with just their energy, it's insane.
I was just about the mention the french dimension. That was actually hilarious cuz theyre just locked in combat in this dark room full of french people. Truly the stuff of nightmares.
Kusanagi's Ryu being so aggressively controlling, and just making all the right decision, hitting all his DPs really feels like Ryu, the World Warrior. After however long going around the world and fighting the best, he's honed the style he learned from his master to work against all types of opponents. I feel like Kusanagi really brings out what makes Ryu, Ryu. It feels "cooler" than other Shotos IMO. Ken's kit feels too rush down, (and it feels right for him too, being such a "fiery" character), and Akuma similarly feels like there's just bloodlust and he wants to come at you from all angles just looking to kill. Luke...I don't know what sort of vibe Luke's got, I'm just, not familiar enough with that character. But Ryu, and the way Kusanagi pilots him just feels so right. Sometimes he's fast, sometimes it feels a bit slower but just with so much Power, (a large part of which is how good donkey kick and hashougeki just feels, even when it's just thrown out and whiffed, like when Broski was talking about the double Hashougeki whiff into forward dash or whatever that sequence was).
The fact that you can beat people like xiaohai alone tells me that you winning a major or capcom cup etc is more than just a possibility. Its a question of getting the right sets at this point.
Was so happy with how well you played. Love the success you're having with A.K.I. I'd even go so far as to say you've convinced me that A.K.I. is cool.
I love the way you share your comprehension of the game and the chill way you do it too, great video, so interesting! Anyway, one thing that scares me is watching all these pros playing so FAST. Suffocating pressure but precise movement, instant decision making and last second reactions... Damn.
lmao at Xiaohai's phone. The dude is so paranoid people watch his controller inputs he comes with a freaking sponsored cardboard, and you peek at his phone ?!
I got into a debate with someone here on TH-cam over if you were elite or not, because he said "oh, he doesn't go to offline tournaments". Please anyone, look at who this man beat and tell me he isn't elite.
I just like to watch people talking analyze in depth of their gameplay. Too bad I can't find good one like this for manon. Idom has it but unfortunately he just upload so many complain about the game rather than actually teaching something 😑
Come on Broski. No matter the result, we'd love to see you attending off-line tournaments more often. And to tell the truth, if you didn't send Xiaohai to losers bracket, 99% he would have won the championship.
I was so glad you were at UFA, watching Randumb and yourself made me pretty happy. Top 9 is still amazing. You beat Xiaohai on a P no less and others. I was watching the JP stream and the amount of people going crazy for your AKI was amazing. Great showing
23:58 Drive Rush freeze doesn't stop a button press from coming out in a situation like that. More likely he expected either AA Parry (empty jump + throw), or HP Serpent Lash (hoping that empty jump would let him block fast enough)
I don’t know much about Kusanagi, but I was surprised to hear Broski say he has the best anti air dp in Europe. Because it was a glaring hole in grand finals against xiaohai. Xiaohai picked up on the fact he couldn’t anti air and started abusing him for it.
That’s because in many situations Cammy can make Ryu’s DP miss with here dive kick. Anti-airing Cammy has to be done with spaced out normals and even then it’s less reaction and more prediction.
Rago Broski!! You don’t care what someones rank is, you’re gonna test them with all you’re shenanigans. I’m a call you Rago Broski from now on, shout out to F-word 😂
Yeah, french crowd and stuff, maybe because you don't know the argentinian crowd. Sadly, we are too poor and have too little time to play competitively.
you mentioned something that i feel doesn't get talked about enough. that drive rush is poorly implemented and eats inputs. this has caused so much frustration for me in the game and i don't understand why it hasn't been addressed yet
IIRC you can hold the button during a freeze and it will come out as soon as possible, you can use that against dRushes but also to guarantee that your own dRush buttons come out as soon as possible. What really annoys me about dRush is that it does eat your directional inputs, so sometimes it eats your jump inputs.
I hate bipson so much, the character does too much damage with zero downsides. His only issue is having a crappy AA and no OD reversal (drive reversal fixes that), I mean Marisa does crap tons of damage but has to be a sucky big slow character because of it, Bipson just gets all the pressure, all the damage, all the mobility for just having to have zero AA and even then Bison can crap out damage if he air to airs you instead.
@@adamswing6115.. True but when they see you dont tech.. without throw loops.. people will conveniently block. 1 step to pro dom is to threaten the throw.
Personally, I think this is just another proof that not only throw loops suck major ass, but also this, even at high level, is sometimes more of a guessing game than it is a fighting game:, and it is so wrong.

I literally just failed a 4+ hour exam by 2%, so seeing this upload makes me feel seen

Same here, failed an exam by about 0.3 points 2 months ago
