Recipe ✨ Ingredients: -1.5 lb pork shoulder (thinly sliced) Marinade: -1-2 whole shallots, diced -6 cloves garlic, diced -2 tsp black pepper -3 tbsp fish sauce -2 tbsp soy sauce -3 tbsp oil -1/4 cup white sugar Garnish/ bowl components (the ones starred are necessary, everything else is optional) -vermicelli noodles* -leafy greens/ lettuce* -mint -pickled carrots* -crushed peanuts* -egg rolls -scallion oil -nước mắm* -delicious but optional viet herbs (tiá tô and kinh giới) Steps: 1. Slice your pork shoulder 2. Mix all components of the marinade 3. Add marinade to pork and set in fridge for 4hrs-overnight 4. After marinating, take out of fridge and place flat onto a oiled foil pan. (OPTIONAL) place onto some SOAKED skewers. Make sure to soak or your skewers may catch fire in the broiler. 5. Bake at 375 for 14 mins, then flip and broil for 3 mins, then flip one more time and broil until beautifully brown. Keep your eye on the broiler!!!! 6. Plate with the rest of the bowl components and serve.

@@phi1688 cooking is very different from baking so you can really just do it according to your taste preferences since it doesn't really matter

depend on the amount but usually it's :
1 tbsp soysauce
1.5 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tbsp honey
2 tsp chinese 5 spices
2 tsp msg
1/2 magic sarap or chicken poulet powder
1 tsp pepper
minced garlic and shallot
