Should do a john Deere articulated dump truck. Maybe even a trailer to haul the mini skidi

The missing element from your instructions is a list of required screws, so we know what we need before getting to the step that needs what you find out you don’t have. 😀

How did you design the printed C clips? Both the clip it’s self and the clip mounted end (I guess that’s what you can call it).

@ProfessorBoots The kit is not available outside the us :( so i would like to source myself everything. Everything was easily identifiable by the pictures. What I am missing are the motors. How many rpm do they have?

Awesome little project!! I got mine together but im finding that the arm motor has no power... i can barely lift the bucket with the claw attachment at full charge but i went and got a 550mah 7.4v lipo battery and feel like its that... i noticed that even with free moving parts its very sluggish in forward and reverse but turning is quick.. im going to get the battery you suggest to see if that helps, but im not sure if thats 100% the issue 😅 asside for that i love it!! I added the quick attach piece for the forks and bucket and got a 3" servo extension that i glued to the arm for quick plug and play with the claw servo and its perfect. I just need to figure out why it cant lift its arm with its own strength.

I think I figured out the issue, but if anymore arise i'll be sure to reach out to let you know! I found a high torque 100rpm n20 motor and put it in place of the arm motor and it lifts atleast 3x more and holds its lifted position better than it was when I was having issues. I still find it to be sluggish in comparison to the skidi in your video, and you can hear the strain on the drive motors but I might just need to clean out the axle holes more and I might lubricate the axles as well. That or I might try another 5v buck converter before I try the recommend battery 😆

Building this up, and it basically works, but with one oddity. Forward and reverse on the keypad are swapped. But the left and right arrows turn in the correct direction. When the right arrow is pressed, the left wheels turn forward and the right wheels turn in reverse, which is as I would expect. So if I swap the polarity of the motor wires, then it would go forward and backwards correctly, but the left and right arrows would be reversed. FWIW, these motors do not have black and red wires, rather they're both white, but one is marked with a red stripe. Hard to imagine the red striped one would be negative. So is the left and right wheel direction operating as you would expect?
Hello, hmmm try swapping the wires in the left motor terminal block to the right terminal while keeping the same orientation, and vice versa.
Swapping the motors fixed the issue. That was my mistake, I guess because the wires for the left side drive motor come out on the right side of the chassis, I went with wire left/right instead of motor left/right. However, on the arm up/down, I did have to reverse the wires there to get the controls to match what you were demonstrating.
Overall, a very nice little kit, doesn't take long to assemble. My one gripe is those screw terminal blocks are crap. I've used those type on a number of projects, and typically used FCI or Amphenol. These would NOT release the wire when they were unscrewed. My advice is that after loosening the screw, use a dental or hook pick to pop the leaf that holds down the wire. Also a good idea to tin the wires before attempting to insert them.

Also, consider powered cafe doors for mini dumpi or use rear tailgate as ramps Or even a lower solid rear like large earth movers.
Lastly, would be awesome to daisy chain Wi-Fi modules so we can go back and forth between mini skidi and mini dumpi without disconnecting and reconnecting Wi-Fi’s or needing two controllers. Wi-Fi repeater or Bluetooth maybe for second connection?

Hmmm that’s strange are you using the exact settup as in the video? And it wouldn’t be to terribly hard I don’t think though it would require some manual wiring
@@professorboots I have it working, but the WiFi reverts to my house WiFi some times, and I don’t know what triggers it. I think the code should fail safe with loss of communication (maybe possible with web page…), I had it start to run the arm motor continuously when it did it the first time.

It would be really easy to set it up via a PlayStation controller if that would suffice. Otherwise you would pry have to swap out all the current electrical components
