@@professorboots RCSparks has a tonnnn of episodes called Loading Kings/Wars (the name has changed a couple times) with RC trucks and forklifts, etc and it's awesome. If you haven't watched it, I'd definitely recommend it
While some people want an excavator, I’m in the team forklift! Imagine driving with a little forklift and stacking little boxes. You could even print a warehouse!

Love it! The hitch was totally ingenious! I hope you'll eventually come back to update the mini skiddi with all the new learnings from the newer vehicles, like the fenix battery. Also please always keep that outro music, totally fits the enthusiasm you have for your projects.
Haha I’m glad you like the music, it always cracks me up. This last week ive actually been doing that exact thing and upgrading the skidi with the fenix battery, stay tuned!
How about a mobile crane? Like the Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 Crane, 5 separate axels, with boom and outrigging, would be quite the show!

When adding blacking to control the light bleeding from the lights through the model - nail polish is a lot cheaper than most model paints and works wonders.

Forklift would be a great next project. 2 stage boom and a counter weight full of lead shot would make an amazing hobby grade rc as there's nothing like that on the market.

This is actually so sick I love it. The headlights are an awesome addition and I've been trying to figure out a way to neatly integrate headlights into my garbage truck, just worried it'd result in a brownout but like it _should be fine_

Mini excavator seams to be the popular response so I'd go with that.
Second would be a crane or a truck with attached crane and out riggers..

Double everything. We're talking scale, battery and speed.
Love if this could be bigger. No issues in adjusting your step files but not strong enough on the electrical side of the project.
Also would to integrate the fpv or esp 32 cam in the projects and have it disabled on the screen.
Also instead of using the directional pad I don't know if it's possible to shrink the size (for the viewport of the cam) and use more like a joystick control like most mobile game have.
Anyways love this project and we'll be testing some things out myself!
Also add a full component list if we want to source everything ourselves or see if we can re-use our own stuff.

@@professorboots lol, thanks. I love & keep a tray of Kinetic sand on my coffee table, & an excavator & one of u dump trucks would b so perfect for my coffee table kinetic sand tray. U cld even design in a stationary finger or bar that attaches to the dipper arm, held on with a screw so it can be taken off if u want, but have it opposite the excavator's bucket so it can grab & pickup & put in the dump truck, small stuff like ur skid steer does. 🙂

Next we need an mini beacon light, rather than rotate though you could just have 5 or 6 surface mount LEDs arranged in a tube that turn on sequentially.

Hmm Possibly next off you could do a Mobile Tracked crane (Crawler Cranes)... something bigger and more challenging. if not a crane maybe just a Excavator, Tracks would be challenging for 3D printing to my knowledge. see how far yours is.

I love this stuff. Eagerly awaiting my skidi kit. But 2 things.
1, you think you could put your recommended battery for the skidi in the description on your site (I know many will work but I don’t want to buy one that ends up being to big or long once it gets here. Nor do I want to have it sitting on my desk while I wait for a battery to show up)
2, maybe the next project should be a more universal board that will work in all kinds of equipment instead of a new board for every design? Let the community run wild! I personally plan on designing a similarly scaled forklift.

Hey, yeah there’s code library out there that lets you connect it via a ps2/3/4 controller. I haven’t done it yet but it’s on the list of future upgrades

fenix has many smaller battery's so if you want you could make it work for 2 hours without charge
