Just wondering if you watched any tutorials before you started? I noticed you did not "glass" the wrap first. I haven't tried to wrap yet but I have watched quite a few tutorials.
@@NathansVending Watch CK wraps. His tutorial videos explain every single step. To glass the vinyl, means tensioning the vinyl equally from all four corners, before working the heat. Also as your friend said you need to trim the overage down so you can tension the vinyl while working the squegee. too much excess makes it difficult to work. Also you might want to consider cutting tape, reduces the chances of cutting the paint. Overall, not the worst for a first attempt. CK wraps is the guy to watch. Remember to take notes.
@@mooosestang Everything is easy when one is good at it. If you want to learn something, watch an expert and then practice a lot. It gets easier with practice. This is true for everything. Example, a video game, it gets easier with practice. So learn from an expert and save a shit load of time instead of trying to learn it by trial and error.
You can pop the side moldings out, then all you need to do is tuck under the front window rubber. I tried this last week with tinybot vinyl and it went a lot worse than yours. vvid, tinybot are both a lot harder to work with compared to 3m or avery from what i've read. I ordered some 3m to try again. shit is harder than it looks on youtube. you need to do a lot more pulling and stretching before you ever start squeegying it.
Yall did good. Once you wrap Marcus car. You should definitely rewrap yours. You are going to be thinking about those creases all night.
