Woodturning - Oak Goblet Bowl

This woodturning videos is a goblet shaped bowl made of oak.
The water content of the tree is high, so I put it in silica gel for 3 days.
There is a crack, but I filled it with coffee powder and instant glue.

What is in the box at 3:42, that helped dry the wood? Great work btw!

It's silica gel. I use it a lot as a dehumidifier.
I used a mixture of silica gel that changes color when moisture is contained and silica gel that does not change color. This is to dry the silica gel when the color changes.
It can be reused by drying it in the sun or drying it in the oven.
