Woodturning - Amazing Vintage Bowl
Hello, this is a video of making vintage bowls out of pine logs.
We emphasized the wood grain of the pine tree in three dimensions and tried to express the old bowl as much as possible by tanning the surface of the tree with fire.
When emphasizing the wood grain three-dimensionally, pine-type softwood with a wider ring than hardwood was more effective.

Woodturning - Two Bowls of Ginkgo
มุมมอง 8772 ปีที่แล้ว
Hello, I made a bowl to test the hollowing tools I made. The used tree is a ginkgo tree. It was easier to use than bowl gouge, and it was able to dig out the inside at a faster rate. The tree broke when digging the inside of the second bowl, probably because it dug a lot of deep and dug out the outside. I think we need to cut it from the outside to the inside. This is the video link of the wood...

Woodturning - The Cube (Three Sided Bowl)
มุมมอง 26K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Hello. This week's woodturning video is a video of making a cube out of oak and walnut wood and making a bowl out of the cube. And to check the thickness of the wood, I checked it frequently during ...

    • @MuyoungWoodturning
      @MuyoungWoodturning ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello. What I sprayed on top of the instantaneous adhesive is a "CA glue primer" spray. If you spray it, the glue hardens right away, so it's convenient. The one I used was a loctite product, but I couldn't find it online. Search "CA Glue Primer Spray" and you'll find another product. Thanks for watching. Have a nice day.

    • @MuyoungWoodturning
      @MuyoungWoodturning 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's silica gel. I use it a lot as a dehumidifier. I used a mixture of silica gel that changes color when moisture is contained and silica gel that does not change color. This is to dry the silica gel when the color changes. It can be reused by drying it in the sun or drying it in the oven. I hope it was helpful. Thanks for watching. Have a good day.😀
