I mounted mine on the rudder - I can either flip it up when approaching shore or the shore will flip the rudder up for me - the transducer is on the aft end of the rudder and it works great.
The install looks permanent, I wish there were a quick on /off install just in case there's a situation where it could get bumped on stumps for example
Wouldn't that also throw off the tracking of the kayak? You'd have to over correct your paddling. But what do I know. I don't own one yet, just doing research before hand.
That's a bad location for the transducer... The paddle strokes will show up on the screen. Best to use the farthest forward scuppers. Or at least in front of the paddle strokes.

*Looks good even in daylight **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it was exactly what it was described to be , works awesome , overall happy with product*
Would the side scan still work well?

is the transducer leveled though? I know that some scupper holes are slanted a bit.
this was like watching an elementary school video in the 80's. I couldn't make it thru
How do You get the Lowrance Cap Off if You want to move it to a Different Scupper Hole??...
Can the transducer be removed from it at will?
would this work with the LiveSight or the 3 in ?
So you cant use this on a hook2 5 tripleshot?

were can i get Scupper Mount ???
Work with side imaging?
So how do I use my hobie livewell now? Durr
@brotherdudeman video says it will be available 4th quarter of this year...so you cant get it anywhere yet
How much?
Hay Lowrance why don't you answer some of the questions asked here they are good questions or do you even care ????
Nice video.
I guess he doesn't use a Hobie plug-in cart if he is using that scupper hole...
3:48 LMFAO drag into a sand bottom, it will rip right off.
has anyone ever mounted one on a nucanoe frontier!

So i guess he keeps that Hobie @ a dock that doesn't require carting. Now I would have to get an Atwood or something because now my cart is useless.
If you fish seriously, you are going to break that thing off 100%.
I'd rather mount it inside the hull
because i like to us my plug in cart
make drag possibly ruin the preformance of the rudder.
