I have life insurance in the military till December but chose to get survivors benefits plan instead of life insurance.

As long as your family is covered! that's great to hear the military caring for our vets!

Millennial Finance 101 i think we are, I have a Roth IRA, TSP, 41K, and equity in the house. We should be taken care of, I’m working on my VA benefits now.

Hello!! I just got life insurance index.. Is it a good idea? Life insurance index with transamerica...

I would keep investing and life insurance separate. Index is basically tieing that cash to some stock index like S&P500 or DOW Jones. I'd prefer to keep insurance as insurance and put money aside in a brokerage account like fidelity or charles schwab and invest in those indexes directly.

Yeah. I like to keep investing and insurance separate. I wouldn’t want my health insurance or car insurance to invest in index funds for me.

Which life insurance company would you recommend?

I’m not sure i have any preference towards any but a long standing company with a decent rating should be sufficient.
