I had a communited distal femoral fracture and they placed a External Fixator because the distal bone is shattered and there is no way they can put a femoral lock plate at that time, But, now my leg needs to undergo corrective osteomy because it has been now a bow-legged.

To a lay person, it may apper that a piece of bone has been taken from the abdominal area (pait k nichle part s). Please share your concern with your treating surgeon. He should be able to suggest a remedy. Else you can approach another reputed orthopaedic surgeon for a second opinion. All the best.

Thanks sir 🙏👍👍 I was worried after watching your video because I had the same surgery so your patient is fully flexing the leg in just 6 weeks and I still only get minus 85 degree flexion 71 days later😢😢
