I’ve got an Ankarsrum mixer also. So very pleased to see a recipe using it. I think the mixer is fantastic as my hands can’t knead anymore. Love your video.🥰x
Hello Anna, thanks so much for your wonderful recipe and very simple instructions. I have made this bread twice and they have been delicious!!! The best I have made. I made mine with a bread machine. Simple, simple, simple!!!!
I love this recipe! Please watch your fingers in that mixer. My ex-hubby’s dad was a professional baker and nearly lost his hand in a similar home mixer. He dud lose two fingers.
@harveymartin4821 you can make it but it will take about 10 days. Honestly it is much easier if you bought it online or get it from someone. Anyone that has a starter would be more than happy to share a tablespoon with you. If that's not an option, then a starter is made by mixing equal amounts of water and flour, discarding half every day and mixing again. You can find more detailed instructions on Google. Hope that helps.
I can't seem to be able to post a screen shot here. But under the title of the video is a small "more" button. If you click on that one and then one more time on "more" you will be able to see the ingredients and other links.
Hello, Anna, you have a very beautiful, appetizing and healthy bread! But I have a question - did you feed the starter - 35 grams - starter + 35 grams - water + 35 grams - flour - that's a total of 105 grams, and then added this to the flour. And the recipe says 230 grams of starter... it’s not clear... please explain where so much starter comes from?
Hi. Very good question. You can feed 35 grams of starter with 100 grams of flour and 100 grams of water if you only want to make this recipe. I wanted it to rise slowly over the day. If you want it to rise faster, you can feed about 80 grams starter +80 of flour +80 of water. Either way you will get a similar result. Let me know how the bread turns out after you make it 🙏❤️
I apologize, I misunderstood, in the video you said: starter - 35 grams, water - 200 grams, and how much flour - I didn’t understand, but I think that 200 grams is also the proportion for the bread you baked. Did I understand correctly?
In the video I used 200 grams water and 200 grams flour. I was creating more starter for a different bake and to keep some in the fridge for next time. But if you want to bake only these 2 brads, then use the amounts I mentioned up.
Thank you very much for your patient explanations! Now I got it. I also bake sourdough bread, only the process is a little different, but I saw your beautiful bread, watched the video and want to try your process, it seems easier to me. I bake bread - I add a little bran, whole grain flour and rye flour to white flour. Please tell me, does the bread taste sour or not? I am writing with a translator, if anything is wrong, I really apologize.
@jenniferluchetti7751 here it is. Just under the feta bread link Ingredients: -1 stick soft butter (113 g) -2 tbs honey or sugar -1 tbs salt (20 g) -1 cup active sourdough starter (230 g) -2 and 1/2 cups cold water (600 ml) -8 cups white flour (1120 g)

@vhswan3833 oh wow!! I never imagined that could happen. Thank you for warning me. I will be more careful.
Not with the Ankarsrum. It’s so easy to use as the bowl turns not the paddle.
looks good, please what size are your pans?
They are 8x4.5x4.3 inches.
M-aș bucura sa găsesc rețeta și in limba romana,pe viitor poate o faci!!!

Hello Anna, can I use my rye starter for this recipe?
@@Coralie4242 hi. Sure you can. Any sourdough starter should work just fine.
Hi Anna, can you use all purpose flour and bread flour?
@@crj6558 i believe so. I believe you'll get very close results.

Maybe have no music in the background. Thanks!
I try to put it as low as possible. Is it still too loud?

Your recipe sounds so good. This bread is not very sour. It is soft, has a buttery taste and a thin crust. Good luck!
