I had the same issue with my roof in Arizona with the shingles blowing off in extreme monsoon winds. The shingles were installed correctly but it's just brutal with the Arizona heat. I rolled my roof like you did about 5 years ago and it's been working great. The roofers out here make a killing on shingle repairs, i no longer have that drama with the elastomeric.
Hello, I am happy that Lanco roof coating is working for you . The roof companies out here in Florida are ripping people off left and right and there is nothing that you can do unless you can replace the roof yourself. There is no more Honesty Integrity and character from these Companies. God bless and be safe.
is this ok to use on a asphault shingle roof? Some people have been saying that it needs air to breathe not sure/. How has yours been holding up and do you see a bit of temperture difference ? @@bernieayala9969
@@bernieayala9969can this be painted over once it dries and cures...also does the manufacturer have recommendations already for the best rollers to apply product with and what have you found works best...if you have answered the roller question a bunch I apologize just tell me to check comments.
I just used this on my RV. I used their primer first and then top coated with the same. I need to replace the roof, but I am hoping to get an extra year if I can. The primer goes on purplish and dries black, the Ultra Siliconizer goes on pale blue and dries a nice white.
Hey man! Actually was seeing if you could paint shingles, just had to replace roof at mother’s property here in Zephyrhills Florida due to insurance renewal. The color she picked was a darker shade and this summer was rough. Bills was significantly higher, was thinking if I could be painted lighter and stumbled on this vid though the roof is only year old 😂, if you’re nearby we’d hire!!!
I am trying to find photo or video of proper mixing turning it to “metallic”. We are doing on aluminum porch roof. Panels are down to repair soffit and reinstall with a slope added in etc. our porch has some pin holes from corrosion. I keep using caulk on the ceiling side last several years and it works great but there are so many tiny pin holes. Trying to repair as much cheaper $150/5 gallons plus 1 gallon was $28 so hope it covers 310 sqft plus each metal panel has two inch sides. 29 panels 13’ but we will cut them to 11’.

So is the paint you used different the behr roofing paint they have at Home Depot?
Did you see any improvements in your interior temperatures inside your home? It says it reflects 90% heat emissivity.
