  • We finally got our new Icon Rebound Pros and 37-inch Nitto Ridge Grapplers on the 2024 Wrangler Rubicon X!!! We installed them on a stock suspension set up and get it flexed out so you can see exactly where it rubs!! Well at least I thought it would rub... We also modify the stock spare tire carrier for 3rd brake light visibility and a better mounting set up!! I'm amazed at how well the 37s fit on our JL!!

    The Nitto Ridge Grapplers measure out to 36.75" they are the closest thing to a true 37" tire

      Correct 36.77” according to Nitto. I didn’t actually measure mine out to verify that size, but from what I’ve seen they are the closest to the labeled size compared to other brands. That’s why most people refer to them as “true to size” even though they aren’t quite there yet.

    I have those same Icon wheels. Been running for about a year and they work really well and they've taken some abuse from rocks. I'm running 40" nitto trail grapplers

      So far I love those wheels!! I’ve had zero issues and I’ve aired down lower than I should have for the trails around here. I’m hoping one of these days we will have 38s or 40s after some axel and steering upgrades!

    Congrats, an amazing jeep got even better.
    Did you opt it with 4.88 or 4.56? If 4.56 do u see any power loss with 37s?

      @BreacherUpOffroadCustoms  11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      We opted for the 4.88s from the factory since we planned on going to 37s pretty quick. I did notice a difference, but in a good way. The 4.88s were a little too low with the 35s in my personal opinion, and it feels a lot better now with the 37s. It still holds 8th majority of the time unless of course going uphill or into a headwind.

      @@BreacherUpOffroadCustoms thx for prompt reply.
      Yes, stock 4.88 is a good option for upsizing to 37s.
      So far the best wrangler for stock options in primary and secondary components.
      Hopefully jeepers and competitors will compel Jeep to make the newer models even better and more capable.
      Enjoy your rig and the purpose it’s bought for.

    Do you have any plans to get new drive shafts to adjust for the angles?

      Eventually we will but not right now. That’s something I’ll do when we get a new lift.

      In time I’d like to upgrade all the steering components including hydraulic assist as well as the axel shafts, but all of that will be after a lift kit.

      @@BreacherUpOffroadCustoms That's great to hear for future upgrades, but I'm actually surprised you went with the 37s first before you upgraded all the components to support those 37s. Such as ball joints, a lift, brakes, etc. Looking forward to future videos!

      @@husker_nationThe newer axels “should” be able to handle the 37s without any problems. We’re not going too crazy on the trails, and I usually don’t abuse the skinny pedal when we’re climbing.

    What is the factory lift on this?

    • @BreacherUpOffroadCustoms
      @BreacherUpOffroadCustoms  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The majority of what I've read says it's 1.5" on the 3.6L and diesel Xtreme Recons, and closer to 2" on the 392s. I am not 100% sure about that on the 2024 models; however, there was not a notable difference between my 24 and my dad's 22 XR. I do know the front sits level on the 24s, and the older model XRs have a 3/4" drop in the front. I believe that's because they started offering a factory winch on the 24s.
