      We opted for the 4.88s from the factory since we planned on going to 37s pretty quick. I did notice a difference, but in a good way. The 4.88s were a little too low with the 35s in my personal opinion, and it feels a lot better now with the 37s. Found this on their website. May help??? Does a Tazer void my warranty? No! The Tazer makes no permanent changes to your vehicle and does not violate your warranty. You should, however, return to stock by “Unmarrying” and removing the Tazer from your vehicle before dealer service to avoid complicating their job. Leaving the Tazer plugged can in some cases interfere with dealer tools and cause confusion if the dealer’s not familiar with the device. Also no mention unless I happened to miss it is the Start/stop button mod?

    • @BreacherUpOffroadCustoms
      @BreacherUpOffroadCustoms 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You’re right I forgot to mention that! If you’re talking about the auto stop/start. It will remember what you had selected. So if you turned it off it will stay off until you turn it back on even after turning on/off the Jeep. I completely forgot about it when I was recording! I have read that about the warranty, but I have also heard some horror stories of people getting their warranty voided after not taking their taser off. I think it would have to be a really bad dealership to begin with to do something like that, and 99% of dealerships wouldn’t. Like they said though just makes everything easier and there’s no worrying about it if it’s just unmarried and removed.

      I did do a decent amount of research beforehand. It’s been a little while now so I don’t remember much about the flashcal. Hey brother, I also have the same jeep with the extreme recon package. I am curious to know your thoughts with the new 37 inch tires and the 456 gears. • @BreacherUpOffroadCustoms
      @BreacherUpOffroadCustoms หลายเดือนก่อน

      So we actually got the 4.88s from the factory just because we were planning on 37s before we bought the Jeep. For us prior to switching the Jeep did great with 35s but the 4.88s were noticeable. It we would hit 8th gear pretty quick. I didn’t mind the way it drove with 35s, but with the 37s it felt a lot better. We maintain 8th pretty easily unless there’s a strong headwind or we’re going uphill. Obviously it’ll be a little worse with 4.56s. Personally if I were you I’d go with 37s unless you drive long distance daily. I mean Jeeps like ours are never going to be great on fuel mileage and the 37s are amazing for hitting the trails. Once you air down it’s amazing how much smoother the 37s are compared to our old 35s. I would also suggest looking for a C range 37 or at least a lighter tire and wheel. It’ll help a ton with power and fuel mileage. I found the stock set up is pretty heavy to begin with. We only added 10lbs per wheel and tire over stock. I think that’s because of the beadlock option on the stock wheels. They’re pretty heavy. Anyway I know that was a long reply but I hope it helped some!

      Very nice! We have our new wheels and tires on now. I believe it’s the next video coming out on Saturday so you’ll have to check it out! We went with an 8.5” rim with -6mm offset and it’s perfect. Removed some spacers on the stock tire carrier and the spare sits right where I want it. We’ve had it flexed out all the way with 37s and just very very minor rubbing.

    Nice ride! I took delivery and started building my 2024 Rubicon X about 6 months ago. I love it! I will be sure to follow along with your build! Check mine out if you like!

    Enjoyed the video!! Can't wait to see what else you're going to do to the Jeep.

    Ya...I feel ya. I bought a Jeep but it's really my wife's. Would kill for your "cramped" space tho. Can't even get our condo corporation to build a car wash spot.

      Yeah I’ve gotta run all our upgrades past the boss and make sure she gives me the thumbs up! Haha We’ve done quite a bit since this video and it’s looking good!

      Yeah not having room to work sucks.. I’m absolutely blessed to have the space I do, but man a lift would save a lot of aches and pains!

      Nice!! I’ll get some more videos out on the upgrades we did, but we’re rolling on 37s now and got some other goodies put on! What made you go with the 4.88s?

      @@BreacherUpOffroadCustoms What tyres did you upgrade to? I will eventually upgrade to 37s. Moreover, I thought it was good to order 4:88 from factory than to get em aftermarket. Everything will still be covered under factory warranty.

      @@Thestorytilldate We went with the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I love those tires! Then we went with Icon Rebound Pro rims. Total weight was only 10 pounds heavier which I was super happy with. The 4.88s are perfect with the 37s. Still maintain the higher gears on the highway and great on the trails.

      @@Thestorytilldate Oh and we had almost no rubbing with stock suspension maxed out on articulation. The only major spot was on the wings on the front bumper but it was still minor. We just pulled them off.

      @@BreacherUpOffroadCustoms I will get Nitto trail grapplers. Whats the offset/back-spacing of the rims you chose? Looking forward for a video.
