    The big thing about 2023 Broncos is the 2024 has improved parts for Badlands and Sasquatch package so going with a 2023 for MSRP is for those models is a ripoff. For the first time, I say Ford has actually fallen behind Dodge in reliability. I had an Intrepid and it ran 9 trouble free years and 75,000 miles. Unfortunately, Jeep is mostly a brand and not the original company. A big holdings group named Stellantis bought them out and they have NOOOOO clue WTF they are doing. That's why Wranglers are getting so awful. Ignore the fans, they're just trying to hide the fact that a Wrangler in the last year or two is overpriced trash. All vehicles have problems, but Ford Broncos have many problems across the board. Not properly done with 37s with not enough power. It slows down the vehicle more and stress the hell out of the vehicle. Bad design for long term. Ford is so jelous of Jeep Wranglers, but they need decades of experiences to even learn the ups and downs of the new redesign Honda Civic like Bronco. Even the Jeep 392 doesn't even have 37s from the factory even with the amazing V8. Jeep does it the right way when it comes to the Wrangler and not to mention it maintains the spirit of the Wrangler no matter what year you get since 1941. There's a reason why massive amount of loyal customers remains to be Wrangler owners despite of the issues just like other vehicles. It's nice to have a bit of competition, but with all the proper knowledge and experiences of the Wrangler, I'd rather take a chance on that rather than the new problematic Bronco. Maybe another 10 to 15 more years, I'll give a Bronco a shot.

    I was excited about the new Bronco. I owned a 1995 Bronco up until 5 years ago. It was a very reliable vehicle, it was a simple 302 with a 5spd manual. I keep my vehicles for 15-20 years, so when I purchase a vehicle I look at long term maintenance and ease of repair. I'm mechanically inclined (just rebuilt a 5.0 Coyote), so I know what can go wrong, and I know the hassles that one can face when working on their own vehicles. That being said I was not interested in a small to medium displacement turbo engine. They are not reliable long term, especially from Ford. I did not need 350+ ftlbs of torque, I would have been happy with an N/A V6 or better yet the 5.0 Coyote. I also do not believe that the current pricing is in line with what the vehicle is worth. Ford really screwed me bad with my last Explorer, and they proved to me that they love to talk technology, but when that tech fails they do not stand behind their products. They need to go back to the drawing board and keep it simple. Make a quality product, that is somewhat easy to maintain, and not overly burdened by tech. Ford failed EV push should prove to everyone that they are not in touch with the average consumer.

      You will run into a new issue that many new buyers never ran into before: lot rot. It's simply caused by the car sitting in the freezing cold/blazing sun for months and months. The list is so long I can't even think of where to begin. It's NORMAL to find critters and crickets living in your a/c vents or a few bird nests. And if you're foolish enough to buy, DEMAND a new battery with the deal at no charge. There is no way the original will last because it has been jump started so many times by tire-kickers wanting to test drive but walked away after the stealership refused to be reasonable on pricing.

Whoever is managing the garbage at Ford is a moron. I ended up buying a Jeep, and I couldn't be happier. I'll own Jeeps for the rest of my life.

    The inventory situation is worse than you’re describing. Wranglers, Gladiators, and Broncos are all in a bad place. We’re entering the second quarter of 2024 and there’s about 2K 2023 Wranglers, 7.5K Gladiators, and 9K Gladiators. Jeep has major incentives on the Gladiator (15% off MSRP) and some on the Wrangler ($7,500 off 4xe’s), but Ford thinking a few grand off MSRP will help is hilarious. These aren’t going to sell until they come down to earth. The data makes it crystal clear that people don’t have money as the higher trims are still around in massive quantities for a 1.5 year old vehicle. Good luck selling those 2023 Raptors in 2025 Ford. Vehicles don’t do well if they’re not driven much for two plus years. They’ll all need a few oil changes, I’d request new tires due to the lot rot, and various other fluids should be replaced at minimum. Anyway, Jeep got serious with the Gladiator issue and have sold about 5K Gladiators in the last 2 months as they did have over 12K units in December/January. You can find deals on gladiators for 30% off MSRP before negotiating a thing, which is what they need to do to offload these things before the situation gets worse when they probably discontinue or update the vehicle. Gladiators are easier to offload though since they’re a truck and are the second best selling in its class as the entire segment is down. Meanwhile Ford and the dealers are in for a bad time. It’s very simple math right now. Debt is awful, missed payments, repossessions, and credit card debt are all rising at the fastest rate since 2008. Pair that with inflation for the last 3 years and it spells doom for the auto industry for the next few years. Ford needs to wave the white flag and put 10-30% off these things and move some metal. But I’m telling you people are in very bad shape financially and even good incentives are not helping as much as in the past so they’ll have to go much higher. Every $10K financed is $200+ per month. Good luck selling those Raptors Ford, that’s an awfully tough task with this much aging inventory.

    • @matthewmatzner4930
      @matthewmatzner4930 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Also, for those of you who don’t know, inventory isn’t measured in a raw number. Inventory with products like vehicles and houses are measured taking the raw number divided by the rate of sales. If inventory is high and the sales rate declines it raises the inventory figure exponentially. Someone is going to be left holding the bag here and it’s looking like Ford.

      Be VERY careful. Although it's illegal, stealerships are still trying this. DEMAND to see the original documents and check the VIN. Don't be too surprised if they try to sell you a 2023 model with 2024 paperwork. One guy found out online because he was smart write the VIN and compare it with the car the stealership claimed was the same one. They actually had the balls to deny any wrongdoing so he walked out. No surprise, the car listed was yanked from the website immediately. That's how slimy they're getting.
