I am surprised to see Rayquaza so high up. When I looked at it I was asking myself "is it really so much better than Dragonite that it's worth using the restricted slot for it?" and I wasn't sure if it is. The relevant base stats are just moderately better. Air Lock can be great in some specific situations but against a lot of opponents it will do nothing at all, while both of Dragonite's abilities are useful a lot more often. Inner Focus is like a better Clear Amulet, letting you run a different item and ignore Fake Out, which is a very common move now. The major upsides of Rayquaza are Swords Dance and Dragon Ascent but I wasn't sure if that's special enough compared to what other restricteds have to offer. You are obviously way better at the game than me, so I guess I underestimated Rayquaza. Looking forward to a video showing off a full team for it.
Inner focus don’t resist mold breaker fake out and didn’t resist other debuff move unlike clear amulet which anti any stats drop dragonite forced to band

@@pedrolarez6602 Inner focus allow you to block intimidate but not baby doll eyes or any move that lower stats while clear amulet completely negate those thing, rayquaza have immediate pressure which is sword dance + and another STAB which is dragon ascent. Also it’s completely negate the weather effect = no water boost for kyogre/ no stats boost for past paradox/ completely destroy ice pokemon to aurora veil + blizzard
Just noticed that we literally dont have the 2 mons who are immune to calyrex stabs currently in gen 9, alolan rat and obstagoon, theyb technically wall calyrex if it doesnt have draining kiss coverage
I grew up through gens one through 3 however i do enjoy *some* of the recent generational pokemon. That said Mewtwo and Mew could use a rework. Maybe an ability change/signature ability but its sad they are outclassed by so many others. Mewtwo with Psychic surge or neuroforce would be an upgrade
i doubt it will see any usage but eviolite bisharp is a hard counter to both calyrex forms. inner focus blocks intimidate and fake out, uninvested sucker punch ohkoes every shadow rider while it literally can't touch you back, and with 196hp 252+ def you can eat two high horsepowers from ice rider then two hit them back with foul play. the worst case scenario against either is you force a tera. it's kinda similar to pelliper, you just bring it against those things and leave it behind against others
Seems fine on paper but in reality Caly Shadow always has Mienshao and often Chi-Yu, so you're always risking a 1hko from those two while Caly protects or sits in the back. But its still really good vs just the two riders so I can see it.
@@acekun6493 the thing is you don't really care if mienshao CCs your bisharp, as long as your partner does something useful you're still denying calyrex a turn. usually i'd lead incineroar or rillaboom next to it, so you have plenty of options. chi-yu is easily handled too, if they're tera ghost you can just protect to bait it then sucker or glide them turn 2. this was a zacian team too so i could ohko it with sacred sword. the only flaw with my team was the player lol, i've never tried vgc before so my predictions and leads are terrible

Xerneas and Yveltal aren't in Scarlet & Violet. Probably because they'd be extremely powerful with Tera and Fairy/Dark Aura boosted STAB Moonblast and Oblivion Wing.
