@@dingus748 lol, I was always saying Incineroar is like the OG Rock of pokemon. A perfect villain but you can't help but acknowledge how great he is lol.
This makes me so happy. I’m not a cat person in Pokémon let alone real life. When I saw Litten I fell in love with that cute kitten. Seeing what Litten became during my alola journey was emotional for me. Seeing Incineroar becoming the best of the best in Pokémon makes me so happy. Yeah he is hated now but to see my kitten go toe to toe with legendaries fills me with so much pride. Oh and having him in Smash was the cherry on top.
The weird thing is also that Incineroar is not an inherently unfair or unbalanced Pokémon. It doesn't have unblockable moves like Urshifu, a game breaking moveset like Smeargle, an instawin button like Xerneas, ludicrously over the top stats like Calyrex or Zacian, instant battlefield changes like Groudon/Kyogre or the Tapus, or a truly broken ability like Chien-Pao. It just has the perfect amount of stats, moves, typing, and ability to become the most optimal support Pokémon ever.
@@antimony2333 It's so perfectly optimized for doubles. It compresses so many roles into one slot that there is rarely a reason to not have it on your team.
Whenever I hear about competitive Incineroar, I think about Moxie Boosted's video on the strongest starter Pokemon. "An overpowered Pokemon is something like Urshifu, which necessitates it usage due to its lack of counters. Incineroar, on the other hand, had counters. It was just so reliable that you didn't mind it. No one has ever said, 'oh, i would have won if my opponent didn't have Incineroar, 'cause it was just, like clicking Fake Out and Snarl and stuff.'" Honestly, Incineroar has been one of my favorite Pokemon from the moment it was announced. I love its design (I'm a sucker for its championship belt made of fire), its personality, how it plays in Smash...heck, the fact it's a support Pokemon relying on tricks like Intimidate, Fake Out, and Parting Shot while pissing people like Wolfe off so much means it's pulling off its "heel wrestler" thing expertly.
Wolfe has a massive Incineroar poster above his bed, in which he sleeps with his Incineroar pajamas, under his Torracat blanket, while cuddling his Litten plushie. He's just in denial.

I am so happy with this tribute to Incin! Having a great Pokemon competitive player like Wolfey to slur you so bad just because of how good you are while being not obviously broken is such a big genuine praise to the mon! I've always really liked Incin's design, it's so tauntingly cool and the heel inspiration makes it even more so! It looks like a cartoon majestic cool humorous evil villain and the "humanoid" design fits it so well it's not a minus but a plus! Like, I can totally see it a Kung Fu Panda villain or something lmao. Or just it's appearance in Pokken is so badass, Incin really fit the fighting game aesthetic so much it'll also look good in Tekken etc! Everything about it is just perfect synergy, it doesn't even need a broken superpower, just an awesome toolkit! Best support and taking the overall crown with the war chest of "why be first when you can be second?"
Fr it's super entertaining now, fast paced with tons of information yet funny too. Plus, while I'm not like a noob to competive Pokémon, he makes it look way more basic if you get what I mean.

I'm with you bro. I don't care what people say, but Incineroar has great design and he is extremely well-animated in-game. And with all of VGC history, he deserves to be on that throne for as long as he wishes.
The scariest thing about Incineroar to me is how many different roles it can compress. Like yeah, looking at my opponents team can give me a rough idea of how their Incin may play but that doesn't stop Incin from having a gazillion moves to surprise you with that you weren't expecting
I typically don't like the idea of min maxing in games, but I do suffer from being a min maxer. And I didn't know that watching how the GOAT competitive Pokemon came to be at 12 midnight is the perfect thing to do on a weekend.
I’m using an Incinaroar for the first time since I was like 9-ish in a player though if Ultra Sun and I can confirm that Incinaroar is amazing and has become one of my all time favorites starters, and Pokémon in general. The one I’m using is named Toast and she’s a menace to society. I love her.
I noticed how Incineroar could be a huge problem when I saw it counters every single Necrozma form. Nowadays I realize how worse the problem is than I thought.
Editing is top notch on this video, I am amazed how many little things that probably took quite some time to figure out and get the right clips to make it this nice, especially starting from 5:44 . Good job, Whit, you can be proud of this one!
Special shoutout to Glimmora for getting time to shine in regulation F simply because its one of the very few mons that can oneshot Incineroar and Tornadus.
Imagine if we get a water/fairy pokemon that has an enhanced shadow tag ability that stops switchouts and stat drops in gen10. Like a support Primarina that is meant to directly counter Incineroar. Give it really good bulk, access to follow me, immunity to stat drops, and shadow tag. Optionally give it recover and a weird but busted signature move to threaten the opponents (open to ideas).
I just don’t get it. Incin constantly prevents legendary horrors to plague vgc, compresses roles to the point that you can use meme mons with it, and makes Wolfe win tournaments… at this point it’s just blind hate imo

As an outsider to competitive Pokemon, it’s very funny to me that the giant wrestling tiger plays a support role rather than a dps role.
With legends ZA coming, incineroar might get a mega evolution to make wolfey go absolutely insane
Edit: love how he changed the title from "How incineroar took the Pokémon world" to god damn "why this stupid cat is the best Pokémon ever"
The funny thing is, an Incineroar Mega might well change its ability and actually get worse.
@@aduboo29oh yeah, fluffy Incineroar is gonna be SOO bad XD
Luckly it would have different typing if it comes as a starter.
@@dilberthighi think fairy steel would be a balanced type for incin
And the funnier thing is there's a high a chance a Mega Incineroar keeps intimidate and it just triggers again, like how Mega Tyranitar kept Sand Stream
@@aduboo29
When Sun and Moon first came out, my best friend nicknamed hers JohnCeNyan. I though that was halarious.
I nicknamed my Decidueye Hooudini.
I absolutely adore how much incineroar got so hated on when it was first leaked in 2016, but it came back with a vengeance and now people just gotta deal with it
Same here 😈
People hate it even more now. Not only did the stupid have to walk on 2 legs nooooo it had to BE ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE. As soon as it got intimidate there was no escape.
People still hate it tho sooo nothing really changed.
Wrestling heel doing his job amazingly.
@@dingus748 lol, I was always saying Incineroar is like the OG Rock of pokemon. A perfect villain but you can't help but acknowledge how great he is lol.
love how even KIERAN had an Incineroar. Love that
This makes me so happy.
"Incineroar haunts my nightmares"
Wolfey : *only uses Incineroar*
Nightmares are only experienced by those who create them.
He can comphrend the true terror of incenaroar
17:02 Incineroar is so influential that it bent the reality so that ivy cudgel water hit ogerpon with water absorb
Lmao
Wolfe: Surely they'll nerf Incineroar
Incineroar: OBJECTION!
On some Phoneix Wright shi fr 😂
I can't wait for GameFreak to not only include him in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, but also give him a Mega Evolution like the busted Pokemon he is
Hey I remember you, you used to be in the comment section of like every video I watched
The man himsef
i don't think competitive will exist in legends series haha
The weird thing is also that Incineroar is not an inherently unfair or unbalanced Pokémon. It doesn't have unblockable moves like Urshifu, a game breaking moveset like Smeargle, an instawin button like Xerneas, ludicrously over the top stats like Calyrex or Zacian, instant battlefield changes like Groudon/Kyogre or the Tapus, or a truly broken ability like Chien-Pao. It just has the perfect amount of stats, moves, typing, and ability to become the most optimal support Pokémon ever.
well, chien-pao is at least interesting in that regard though as it also affects its own partner ... unlike in singles where it's just stupid.
its kit is so perfect, it managed to make slower speed an advantage
@@antimony2333 It's so perfectly optimized for doubles. It compresses so many roles into one slot that there is rarely a reason to not have it on your team.
This is the stupidest thing Ive read in this comment section. How is perfect stats, typing, ability, AND movepool not "unfair or broken"?
@@JayceCH.The stat spread is just good enough where Incineroar can be strong without being absurdly broken.
27:08 you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain
Exactly. As they say, everything has a beginning and an end. No king shall endlessly rule the throne
No one has ever said, 'oh, i would have won if my opponent didn't have Incineroar, 'cause it was just, like clicking Fake Out and Snarl and stuff.'"
Honestly, Incineroar has been one of my favorite Pokemon from the moment it was announced.
@@edg810the classic closeted incineroar lover
@@edg810 yeah, he also has the incimobile and the incijet in his garage for special occasions
Fellow Incineroar fan!
*power handshake*
Whenever I hear Moxie Boosted's video on this, the more I roll my eyes. Urshifu is a legendary pokemon, Incineroar is a god damned starter.
Incineroar could beat 1 billion lions alone, who even needs the other 900 pokemon?
Nah inceneroar Will intimidated those 1 billion lions
1 tiger vs 1 billion lions
Fun fact it would take like 100k years just for intimidate to trigger for all 1 billion lions lol
Or wait I think that was my math for if it was evert ability that activates on switch in
June 18, 7727, 02:48:23 AM when I did the math I'm pretty sure this was the date I got for when it would finish triggering I did this a few days maybe a week ago so still pretty close
Wolfe has recently stepped up his yt game even more
First
Yeah his style of editing and presenting videos has changed quite a bit. I quite like it.
Fr it's super entertaining now, fast paced with tons of information yet funny too.
Plus, while I'm not like a noob to competive Pokémon, he makes it look way more basic if you get what I mean.
I was wondering when this video was coming.
This is gonna be a classic.
All hail to the best starter, best fire type of all time.
I agree with you there 100%!!
It being hated ironically makes me like him more. Because I see it as the wrestling heel doing his job well.
@@dingus748Same here.
He has a demeanor that I love to see people hate. Especially because it isn't an OHKO machine, he just has so many tools in his belt while everyone else struggles with 4 move syndrome.
I like how Wolfe can prove his point by actually winning real tournaments just cuz he can
>"It's not like incineroar got a mega evolution..."
GameFreak: Wanna see me do it?
>gives Incineroar a little buff with the new PLZA mechanic
GameFrea: Wanna see me do it again?
I have seen incineroar more on this channel than wolfey himself
I find it so immensely satisfying that the Heel pokemon is built to show up, ruin someone's day, and then leave.
Even before it became a meta threat, I loved this wrestling cat creature. It grew on me in the Sun and Moon era. Remember when Incineroar was so hated and despised because of it's design. Now it's hated and despised because it can bend the competitive scene to it's will lmao.
“You’d almost always rather be weak to bug than Fairy”
Arcanine, who resists both while Incineroar resists neither: 👀👀
Inciniroar has been my favorite for years but i didnt know he was one of the best 😂
Same!!
it's crazy how wolfey's editing gets somehow better with every video. I already thought he perfected it at the start of this year but this stuff is next level.
he's not the one doing it.
he ain't the one doin it
He's not the one doing it
When Kieran threw out Incineroar, I had a take a moment to laugh to myself. It was just too good of a moment.
I adore that Smash victory animation of Incineroar winning the championship belt! It's so wholesome!
I don’t even play competitively, Incineroar’s just one of my favourite Pokémon ever. I love to see my favourite kitty absolutely WRECKING the VGC, it brings me joy
I'm with you bro. I don't care what people say, but Incineroar has great design and he is extremely well-animated in-game. And with all of VGC history, he deserves to be on that throne for as long as he wishes.
You are the part of the problem

Brain rot
The scariest thing about Incineroar to me is how many different roles it can compress. Like yeah, looking at my opponents team can give me a rough idea of how their Incin may play but that doesn't stop Incin from having a gazillion moves to surprise you with that you weren't expecting
T pose spinning to assert dominance
Imagine in Pokemon Legends Z-A ,Incineroar gets access and Wolf goes insane
I just wanna give some massive kudos to the editing in this video. Stellar work
This was such an insanely put together video! Animations and transitions were some of the best!
I typically don't like the idea of min maxing in games, but I do suffer from being a min maxer. And I didn't know that watching how the GOAT competitive Pokemon came to be at 12 midnight is the perfect thing to do on a weekend.
That blocking of Nature Power was such a wild thing to see, its that kind of game knowledge that really makes Pokemon shine competitively.
ahh saturday, bagel,. morning coffee and wolfey weekly incineorar rant, love it
5:48 Did not expect to see Ragnarok Online emotes in a Wolfey video.
yeaaah me neither lol
My boy Incineroar staying on top, we love to see it. I've loved him ever since he got introduced in the best pokemon games out there
I’m using an Incinaroar for the first time since I was like 9-ish in a player though if Ultra Sun and I can confirm that Incinaroar is amazing and has become one of my all time favorites starters, and Pokémon in general. The one I’m using is named Toast and she’s a menace to society. I love her.

Man, if I had known your videos about competitive Pokémon were informative AND funny I would've subscribed sooner!
I like how this guy refers to Pokemon as tools. He's the exact guy the anime warned us about.
I mean at the end of the day they are just tools.
Especially in competitive where there's no friendship mechanic like toughing it out
that's the wcd
@@akshatyadav8434 unfortunately Return and Frustration got axed...
Paul has reincarnated into Wolfy.

I loved all of gen 7 starters, and genuinely didn't know about the incineroar Meta, so this makes me happy for incineroar. Good for you buddy
This cat was so busted that the gave him to the battle obsessed Rival in the Indigo Disk
Kalosian Incineroar

13:48 i dont think you mentioned it but the main takeaway from the burn is it ALSO reduces an enemy’s attack by 50%
Error at 9:43 he’s not immune to dark type he’s immune to physic! Not sure if you can fix it. Love this video! Love ya wolfey!
Look at the top left corner in the video.
@@kats1646they fixed it lol
I just don’t get it. Incin constantly prevents legendary horrors to plague vgc, compresses roles to the point that you can use meme mons with it, and makes Wolfe win tournaments… at this point it’s just blind hate imo
Well, it IS a heel...
My first ever pokemon game was Pokemon Sun on my first ever Nintendo device, 2DS. I chose Litten as my starter mon since i love both fire type Pokemon and cats. I formed a special bond with him and eventually evolved him into Incineroar. Man carried me through Alola and kept me happy. My favourite mon ever to exist in the entirety of Pokemon, I'm so happy to see him rock the competitive scene❤
and yet they nerfed the hell out of talonflame smh
For anyone wondering, it takes incinaroar 30 seconds to appear in a video about incinaroar
ok
There’s probably only one way you can make Incineroar more monstrous … giving it shadow tag.
_Mega incineroar has entered the chat_
