    Just found your channel about a month ago. Your content is phenomenal because its not a cookie cutter one size fits all. You give everyone options and i don’t know many (if any) coaches on TH-cam that do that. It really puts the hope back into people. I’ve sent your videos to my buddies and all of us have seen huge improvements. Just want to say thank you as you’re a celebrity to us

    Is my pelvis angle why I have difficulty staying in my poster???? I am going to experiment with this. I do sit at a desk for 10 hours a day and my hip flexors are super tight. Your explanation of distance between buckle and belly button is a great visual. Going to work on this a lot.

    • @Gilesgillgolf

    As a tall person 6'4" i recently found the thing that was making me early extend. I didnt have enough angle between ankles and tivia. Can now pivot far better and stay back at contact

    Loved how you explained this.
    The way i was working into my posture was creating anterior pelvic tilt and I honestly thought tilting like that was good posture. Messed around a bit and could immediately see the improvement. Took about a day to adjust posture and pre shot routine and am seeing what I would describe as an almost immediate 15% improvement in ball striking, most noticeably with full wedge shots.

    • @Gilesgillgolf
      @Gilesgillgolf  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great to hear you fixed it! Exactly that though if your body is in the correct position then you’re setting yourself up for better ball striking

    So, after having done this for a few range sessions, a few things are obvious for me. 1. Yes, it is easier to stay in my poster by doing this with my pelvis. 2. My lower back and core need a lot of strengthening to reliably maintain this. 3. This change will take a little time and effort for it to become normal. It does feel a bit weird. Thank you so much for this tip! I will continue to work at it.

    so would you say we should setup at address with more posterior pelvic tilt vs anterior?

    • @Gilesgillgolf
      @Gilesgillgolf  หลายเดือนก่อน

      No neutral spine is the goal. Most golfers have too much anterior pelvic tilt so need to feel more posterior to achieve the neutral position
