I understand your point but you have to look at it from the perspective of what does our movie culture rely on? Cgi, practical effects have become an afterthought for a lot of these movies and shows, so their priority isn't to make the practical effects feel real which was a main focus for movies like the original jurassic park which they prioritized the practical to create an authentic reality. Now I don't think the power armor is bad in the show considering you can't have it weighs a few tons like the real armor because the actor needs to be able to breathe/ move and trying to walk when your feet are weighed down by like 60 pounds of metal. I personally think shows and movies should return to the practical effects because it just made everything feel real.
The best way to look at it is that the t-45 was a sherman the t-51 the tiger and t-60 the sherman firefly. The t-51 was better also ingame but is more expensive to repair and mod than the t-60

Not a correction, but filling in omission... there were several different t60 builders made by high skill cosplayers that were used in the series. Same goes for all other sorts of set items and props in the series like nosleeptillcosplay had their assaultron cosplay featured as the destroyed assaultron in the sand.
That power armor costume is extremely well done. I could not tell if it was cgi or practical in the show. This is literally the first time I found out it was real.
Legacy did absolutely incredible, NGL. We get up close and personal with these props too. Well done look forward to seeing what more they come up with on the practical effects side.
The t60 is the best power armor design by far. So glad someone decided to introduce it in fo4. It looks so good, especially with the brotherhood paint jobs and ESPECIALLY with the atom cats paint job.

Legacy did absolutely incredible, NGL. We get up close and personal with these props too. Well done look forward to seeing what more they come up with on the practical effects side.

Glad they did that instead of mo-cap. Looks so much better than digital would have with the Fallout aesthetic.
The t60 is the best power armor design by far. So glad someone decided to introduce it in fo4. It looks so good, especially with the brotherhood paint jobs and ESPECIALLY with the atom cats paint job.
