Ultra greatsword weapons like fume ultra greatsword have a stop WA, but it has an overhead swing, however, the zewihander stomp WA has an ‘uppercut’, which sends enemies flying
I think they were all equally valuable: corvian knight was the agile bait that kept him busy for most of the fight, harald knight was the tank with massive damage and highest survivability (to make it to the end), ringed knight was agile and had tons of dps so he was hard to hit but helped a lot with stagger and the milwood UNIT dealt great damage, great stagger, was a bit of a tank and had the best weapon art for this group and particularly against this boss. Definitely a fuckboy team.
So this fills in all the standard roles of a team: The middle range physical attacker: Millwood The speedy agile assassin: Crow The specialised duel wield knight: Ringed And the Big tank: Herald NGL would love to see this team against all the bosses

The Corvian Knight realises their mistake but it's too late, as he turns around he sees him; not the pitiful wretch they just felled but a true warrior of legend. A barrage of crossbow bolts strike them as the music swells and the Corvian Knight mounts a desperate charge. The Corvian is no match for the Slave Knight, now radiating with the strange powers of the Dark Soul, but his charge was enough to alert the others. And then there is Gael feral and half crazed, one of the sole living creatures at the far end of time and their final obstacle.
The Ringed Knight is the reliable, strong but also kind of dim-witted protagonist. The Harold knight is the lovable comedic relief that joins the group mid-way that is actually fairly skilled if you look past his role as the funny guy, and usually gets the short end of the stick. The Millwood Chieftain is the oldest and most mature one of the group that has a tragic past he's moved on from, and the type that fans cry their eyes out when he dies. The last but not the least is the Corvian Rapier Knight that acts as the cool masked rival to The Ringed Knight and is cold to the group, but actually cares about them and gives his all to protect them at the very end.
Also, th-cam.com/video/JZmYv5Ujh6Y/w-d-xo.html is their previous encounter from when they split off into 2 groups. They were defeated but Gael didn't realize they were dead and left.
I find it crazy that Gael's phase 3 DPS is just so batshit that he *still* nearly won this -- the Harald and Ringed Knight were only 1 or 2 good hits away from death!
The bit where the Corvian knight gets launched during phase two is so brutal, not to mention the rest of the boys hadn't even noticed that he has a phase 2 yet
The x4 health bonus is actually the boon of friendship, forged in the fire and darkness they overcame in quest to face the mad knight at the end of their world.
1:19 Corvian: Guys. This is just phase 2. He's not done yet! Need a little help here! Ringed Knight: Sorry! Sorry. You would think I'd know better what with Gael and me sharing the arena and all.
This would actually be a really cool series or comic to see these 4 super cool knights going on adventures with each other and I’ve thought about how these guys meet each other the millwood knight and corvian knight meet in the painted world and maybe they get sent out in search of gael and the dark soul when the ashen one doesn’t show up and they eventually track gael down to the ringed city where they meet the harold and ringed knight might be kind of stupid but I just thought it would be cool
Kind of like how when the lords didn’t come to claim their throne the ashen one showed up but now the ashen hasn’t come to claim the dark soul so the four ultimate knights need to go get it themselves
@@sagecolvard9644 yea but he has higher dps than them so if the hp were normal there's high chance gael could've killed someone before entering his second phase and thus making the fight easier for him

Props to Corvian rapier knight always first to get stuck in - and I think they have the lowest hp of the four (or is it ringed knight?) but didn’t do a bad job surviving that long. Love the vids bro
That Millwood knight is insane lmao, but the earth seeker weapon art double hit from the chieftain is probably the only reason they won, it was doing 10k a hit to him.
I really did not expect that to be such an even match. I was expecting Gael to just abliterate them completely without even getting to his third stage.
Just imagine the scene where the corv knight dies, and for s split second the fighting stops as all his friends look on I'm horror and sadness. Then they all instantly return to fighting, enraged and determined to avenge their fallen brother.
i imagine an entire speech in japanese from the corvian knight when phase 2 starts and his struggles in the 1v1 motivate the others to get up and help him again
That Corvian Knight knew about the second phase. And with no support, held back one very VERY pissed off Knight as best he could. That's some guts. They're strewn across the battlefield now, but guts nonetheless
Let's be fair Cheitftan is in a awkward position among the four design wise, he doesn't have the guile and grace of the Corvian nor the sheer amount of defense of the Harald, all the while having a active fight style of a frontliner and is the second tallest of the squad. He can deal massive damage , just not built to last against adversity such as Gael

Much like how, in each cycle, there are four lords, there are also four knights of the age. The Ring Knight was the last of his brethren who, alongside the gods and their armies, fought the dragons till they were all but a simple myth. The dark sign branding his armor, some days it grew hard to remember when and where he had fought, and why. But a chance encounter at the end of the world, with a certain ashen being, awoke memories that he thought were long devoured by his hollowing. The Millwood Chieftain had grown dissatisfied with his life in the painting, the same fights, the same beings, the same speeches, over and over and over again. None could bring him challenge. Then, one day, a being came through the painting, carrying a sword that had seen wars end and dragons die. The chieftain stood to fight, but he felt something within himself, a stirring that rose in intensity as he fought, a glimmer returned to his eyes he did not know he had lost. He felt challenged again. The strange being, using a trick with a small leather shield, had beaten him, but did not kill him. Instead it continued to wander through the painting until it lit the painting afire, and opened a way. The chieftain, not wanting to stay any longer in the painting, took that way, and ended up, at the end of the world. (1/2)
(2/2) The Corvian Knight, a devout follower of sister Friede, sat among the flames that spread through the painting, he had failed in his mission to prevent the embers of a new age from setting their home alight. However the more he pondered upon this, the stranger his sadness felt, why did he feel sad? Why did he feel upset at the molded and rotting parts of the painting burning away? This hadn’t been a home in the end, it was a place to guard yes, but never for him was it a home. He began wandering the painting, until he came to the church where friede once preached and guarded. And there he heard the gentle drops of paint, the brush on canvas, the hand rubbing it lightly as if to remove a mark it wasn’t pleased with. It leapt to the top of the church, in the attic. There it beheld the painting child, and heard her promise, the promise of a good home, in a painting with no need of flame. It devoted itself to a new belief that day, the belief that the painting child could truly, honestly, make a new home for them all, especially him. Then it heard a rushing, a stomping of boots down below. It witnessed, just in time, a Millwood knight running down where the flames grew and spat, to a bonfire. He followed the knight, with home in its head and heart. The Legionnaire who was once apart of the Harald Knights was…unique among its brothers and sisters in arms. Instead of fighting or succumbing to the abyss that swallowed them, he went along the swirling tendrils and floating masses of humanity, it did what many could never manage, she understood the abyss. While his brothers and sisters in arms patrolled, she sat, thinking, pondering, wondering at what it had learned from the abyss. They no longer had any needs. However this was not to say they did not feel desire, for one day she beheld two warriors, one with a rapier at their hip, and the other a grand axe on their back. They felt a sense of intrigue pull him towards the two, with their sword on their back. When she showed the two he wasn’t hostile, they inquired what had pulled them to the ring city. It was then they listened to the tale of the two, of how one sought challenge while another sought the blood of the dark soul. They talked for a long time, long enough for the night to turn to day, and as the first slivers of light shone on the ring city, The Knight decided it wanted to see how the story of these two ended. Not knowing it was being dragged into a much stranger tale.
"On today's episode of Will IT BLENDDD?!!!, We've got a elderly Slavic man with a taste for fine art and an aged dark soul, so without further delays, let's put him in the blender!"
Now I wanna see these 4 against 4 of the toughest knights in the base game Ringed Knight, Millwood Chieftain, Corvian Rapier Knight, Harald Legion Knight VS. Cathedral Knight, Black Knight, Silver Knight, Boreal Outrider Knight
This is so cool... it's like in a movie or something, where four old hermit mentors who are actually old heroes joined up to fight against the antagonist
You gotta love how diverse the enemies in DS3 are. They have better AI than any teammate AI I've ever seen, can you imagine them on your side? It would already be better than D&D Dark Alliance
That was... a LOT closer than I thought it'd be... Honestly, when I saw just how Gael was being surrounded and staggered on all sides, I thought he was going to get steamrolled. But then, phase 2 came rolling around. As did all of his crazy elemental shenaniganary. Alas, he still lost... but _just barely_ so. He took two of the enemies down with him and nearly killed the other two, knocking them down to slivers of HP. I bet if there was a round 2, he'd actually have a chance of winning. Side note: I'm distinctly reminded of a low-mid level DnD party facing a high level enemy with maxed player levels. Rough, but doable... just barely.
The corvian tanking the hits when he was alive, the chieftain doing a heavy stagger damage, the ringed knight doing the damage and the harald being the second tank at the end That’s some team work right there
I love how Four Knights of DS3 represent a good deal of the PvP community. We have: Dexterity edgelord in a cape, a STRONK boi with an off META weapon, Anime-flips sword guy, and some meme lord wearing one of the fat armours.
You can tell the Corvian knight is the one who travelled the lands to gather these knights. He fights Gael like he has a vendetta.
Corvian knights are loyal to friede iirc, and Gael with the help of the player brought fire to Ariandel, the thing friede was trying to stop, so it makes sense he wants payback for his lady, he's a malformed sickly crow knight, but a knight nonetheless.

This is slowly coming together and I love it
Not to mention Gael getting EOE Asuka'ed at the end
1:40, Please tell me I wasn’t the only one who found this funny,
Harold: DOG PILE!
Come oooonnnn poiseboise!
The one at 2:01 is just as good lmao
He used the down smash
I love that the Corvian Knight jumps in right behind the Harald Knight
Holy shit that made it 10x better
I find it crazy that Gael's phase 3 DPS is just so batshit that he *still* nearly won this -- the Harald and Ringed Knight were only 1 or 2 good hits away from death!
Fr, the shift from 1st and 2nd phase always shocks me, he just goes sicko mode
Fitting that the two knights at world's end survived
So we all just gonna ignore how the Corvian Knight jumped over that attack in a stylish manner at 1:35
My boi is the Mc
He was playing elden ring
Gotta say, that fight was very "anime"
The game itself is anime af later on

@@thedarkestsoulva9204 Gael is Old Man Guts
Poor Gael thought they will come one by one like normal anime rules imply. He just got ganked instead
The bit where the Corvian knight gets launched during phase two is so brutal, not to mention the rest of the boys hadn't even noticed that he has a phase 2 yet
Then it looks like they dodge out of the way of Gael's cloak sweep immediately after, it's so rad
gael: my dark blood brings all the knights to the yard, and they're like, "thoust better than we"

@@NorThenX047 So true lol
The x4 health bonus is actually the boon of friendship, forged in the fire and darkness they overcame in quest to face the mad knight at the end of their world.

Corvian: Guys. This is just phase 2. He's not done yet! Need a little help here!
Ringed Knight: Sorry! Sorry. You would think I'd know better what with Gael and me sharing the arena and all.
I'm sure if Gael could have managed to kill the Corvian right there and then he would have won the whole battle.
That’s what I noticed too-
Now I can only imagine these four as like a band of roaming knights. Just the thought is so damn cool!
And then the Ringed Knight and the Harald Knight have to tragically fight for the Dark Soul, because their ultimate goals differ.
It actually sounds like a solid idea.
Full stops pls
@@TheGreenDevelop what?
Holy shit, Gael is a beast. That was so close I though he was actually going to win. And the others had x4 hp!
Gael also had times 4 HP.
@@sagecolvard9644 yea but he has higher dps than them so if the hp were normal there's high chance gael could've killed someone before entering his second phase and thus making the fight easier for him
Any chance for an HD version of the thumbnail? It looks so metal!
For real, I’d love that too
Would absolutely love this as a background.
It'd be a great background! I want it as well
Hopefully someone does

This was great
This really should have been best of 3 or something. It was so close at the end!
And it was actually badass
Concordo Gael matou 2 de 4, e ainda quase matou os dois últimos kkk
Yes, we need a rematch
To be honest, even if it was a best of 3 and Gael won the other 2 , the mobs are the winners in my eyes
I guess Bonfire did this battle several times and it's likely in all/the vast majority Gael lost, that's why there was no rematch.
Ringed knight : main mc
Millwood : the sensei
Corvian : the cool show-off friend
Hareld : the comedy one but still usefull in fight
well put together and dynamic cast of characters 😎
worthy of anime/manga! 😎
the only guy who kept fighting during the phase 2 is only rated as the cool show-off?
@@devilkera cool show off that gets shit done when needed.
It fit because most of the time Sensei and Show off/Rival die
Ought to be red-eyed millwood knight with the quakestone hammer, other than that this was wicked to watch.
This is like an MMO raid boss. The rogue, the warrior, the tank, and the chad dual wielder
The group still needs a healer, but it probably wouldn't survive long against Gael sadly.
@@Knight_Of_Eleum_Loyce Millwood brought mead healing lul
These guys are like the new 4 knights of Gwyn in a way. Absolutely EPIC!
This squad has the energy of an 80s or 90s action movie, you've even got the big fat bruiser of a Harald Knight for a bit of comic relief
I really did not expect that to be such an even match. I was expecting Gael to just abliterate them completely without even getting to his third stage.
Pretty much what would've happened without the health boost
These type of videos really make appreciate Fromsoftware's character designs. They all look so sick.
The best fight i’ve ever seen
The team had surprisingly good diversity in types which I believe helped them win
This is one of my favourites so far, epic
I think that this is my favourite piece of your content so far. I'd watch that team go against more bosses.
Can someone please animate this fight? Theres so many cinematic moments.
2:30
Harold Knight:HE MOVED!!!
Ring knight: stop stop he's already dead
A manga/anime with these characters would be sick
I really want these 4 to be in other fights, they're so cool

RIP Millwood Chieftain. He was the coolest of them all imo.
@@Knight_Of_Eleum_Loyce he's totally badass, with beard and all.
That Corvian Knight knew about the second phase. And with no support, held back one very VERY pissed off Knight as best he could. That's some guts. They're strewn across the battlefield now, but guts nonetheless
A battle for the ages.
Okay simp with simp
Your videos are becoming better and better, this shit was like a movie
NOOOOOOOO MILLWOOD KNIGHT, MYYYYYY HOMIE!!!!!!!
Why must the coolest of them die?
xD
Milwood knight is so dam cool, I was rooting for him.
Atleast he was avenged
As Scruffy the Janitor would say, "The candle that burns twice as bright lasts half as long."
The Ringed Knight earns the coolest title for me.
Corvian Knight is my favorite.
Man that Corvid Knight was fearless, didn’t hesitate to charge and face tank the crossbow bolts. Went out like a champ.

*Pursuer(mini-boss) vs Forlorn(with scythe or sword)*
Could be interesting, although I expect the Forlorn to have some trouble with all the knockback the Pursuer is dishing out. Supposing that it's not the first area Pursuer vs a late game Forlorn, I'd give this one to the Pursuer.

(1/2)
(2/2)
The Corvian Knight, a devout follower of sister Friede, sat among the flames that spread through the painting, he had failed in his mission to prevent the embers of a new age from setting their home alight.
When your neighbour (gale) hears music too loud again, you eventually have to bring in the bois
Man, this is one your coolest ideas tbh.
"On today's episode of Will IT BLENDDD?!!!, We've got a elderly Slavic man with a taste for fine art and an aged dark soul, so without further delays, let's put him in the blender!"
The Corvian Knight just jumping over Gael's sweep at 1:26 was hype as hell

This is so cool... it's like in a movie or something, where four old hermit mentors who are actually old heroes joined up to fight against the antagonist
You gotta love how diverse the enemies in DS3 are. They have better AI than any teammate AI I've ever seen, can you imagine them on your side? It would already be better than D&D Dark Alliance
Gael: Four of you against me, now it's a fair fight.
That was... a LOT closer than I thought it'd be...
The corvian tanking the hits when he was alive, the chieftain doing a heavy stagger damage, the ringed knight doing the damage and the harald being the second tank at the end
That’s some team work right there
The way the last two walk off at the end feels scripted it looks so good
Great video, might want to turn fown the volume next time because there is some massive clipping/distortion
I love how Four Knights of DS3 represent a good deal of the PvP community.
