Every knight in ds3 makes me wanna cry, the chieftain wasn’t even a knight but if you’re even a little bit close to being built like a cathedral knight. You WILL NOT go down with out giving your enemy a good fight
Ironic, When peace had finally been established between the last men standing from both sides of the war. They both were striked down by the infamous red hood.
One of the most epic fights i've ever seen. Phase 2 is fucking crazy. BEST part 3:01 ringed knight double stabs with both swords and gael reacts as if he's been impaled. PERFECT
The Ringed Knight, after watching his comrade fall, was enraged, using all of his might he put his immense power into one final combo of attacks, stopping Gael momentarily, but it still wasn't enough.
The beginning was pretty cool too! Millwood charged in to give Ringed knight time to charge his attack Then they switch roles after! 0:30 to 0:34 it looked like they were taking turns to hit him to keep him staggered
I'll be honest, all I do is run away constantly, and turn around to get a powerful cast in on him when I can. Only thing valorous about it is the music in the background, so good it makes running away seem epic.
The end of the world is an ashen wasteland, a lonely place where few souls reside, for there aren't many with the strength to remain unbroken. Still, the champions that remain are still sworn to their duties, pratroling the land in search of their purpose. And yet, these last glowing souls are being snuffed out, as even at the end of the world, terrors persist. The Red Hood, the Butcher of Men, a terrifing creature from a time long gone. He roams the wastes, hunting down the remaining men, demanding their dark soul. Such a threat does not go unnoticed. Two champions have answered the call; the chieftain of an unwanted clan, destined to rot away in a painting; the last knight of an order that served the gods, whose only prize was to be locked away in a neglected city. Both so similar, yet so different, come to the agreement to free the world of this thing together. They march the ashen cliffs determined, focused and tired. Days pass before they spot it, tearing a helpless pigmy apart. Both recognize him as different thing: one, as a servant to a little girl, the other as a knight even older than himself. But no matter who he was, he is for sure lost. Steadfast, and without any words, they engage. The old hooded knight is swift, but he fights like a wild beast. Together, the champions take his blows and strike themselves. It is clear they have the advantage, as their opponent staggered and whinned. Victory seemed at hand. But then, the Slave knight bled. Suddenly, the battle took a turn. He was somehow faster, more calculated and stronger. They were taking more damage, and doing less. But the champions were not detered, they pushed further than ever before, trading blows of ferocity not seen in a long time, all three combatants feeling the strain of both their injuries and time. Despite their efforts, it wasn't long before the cheiftain was struck down and turned to ash, mixing with the landscape around him. The knight yelled out in fury and went ham on the Red Hood, only to suffer the same fate shortly after. They would never know how close they were to victory. Gael stared at the fresh ashes with shame for a while before his mind slid back into madness The end of the world was a lonely place, the ashen wasteland adquiring a new layer, leaving even fewer souls than before. Now, there was no one strong left unbroken. Now, there were no champions, there was no purpose.
I like how as soon as the millwood chieftain dies, the Ringed Knight passes through him and his sword ignites, as if his Soul passed onto his friends sword for one last battle cry.
*Gael second phase begins and he appears behind the other two* Last Ringed Knight: Huh. He wasn’t so tough. Millwood Chieftain: Yeah, we destroyed his a-!! Last Ringed Knight: Hold up... Millwood Chieftain: He’s right behind us, isn’t he?
Yeah, it's insane. I've seen a lot of people who say they struggle with the first phase, but it's the third phase that annihilated me time and time again due to its sheer damage, it's arguably just as damaging as Midir.
@@HMCarsSOA Pretty close to Midir, but a lot more difficult to dodge. "Ah, is this the blood? The blood of the dark soul?" Winded and bleeding from numerous wounds, the Millwood knight and the Ringed knight glanced at one another in disbelief. The old man, that stubborn faded knight called Gael, still hadn't gone down. They had fought on that wretched, sandblasted arena for what felt like an eternity, and even with souls as powerful as theirs- they had grown weary. Still, with lips taut with determination and hands clenched firm to their weapons, they continued on with that damnable brawl. Gael fought with the strength of a thousand men, wielding that broken relic of a weapon he called a sword, and now drew from the dark powers of his curse. His strength multiplied tenfold, and with each wild strike he unleashed crippling blow after blow. The Millwood knight was the first to fall. He clutched at his ruined body and fell face-first into the ground. Shouldering the burden of their duty alone, the Ringed knight surmounted the agony impairing his limbs and struck back at Gael. The old man bellowed in pain, doubled over, and let loose a torrent of screaming, flailing red souls. The Ringed knight staggered back, then hurled his blade blindly. Gael leapt into the air, descending with the force of a falling star and dealt another grievous wound on the knight. The skies, that up until now had remained a neutral spectator, declared its favor for Gael and sent a dozen bolts of lightning to rain upon the Ringed knight. Realizing all was lost, but unwilling to back down, the Ringed knight pushed himself back to his feet. His spirit, commendable as it was, would never be enough. Gael struck again, the final blow, and sent the Ringed knight plummeting to the earth. Gael, mad old Gael, unaware of his victory as his cursed mind trailed away, wandered off into the wilderness. The skies cheered for him with thunderous applause, showering him with accolades of lightning and sparks. He ignored them all, cackling manically as he disappeared behind the ruins of the cathedral, with whatever semblance of sanity goading him to await the next challenger. To wait for whoever possessed the strength to finally strike him down.
Milwood Chieftain: "Never thought i'd die fighting side by side with an edgelord." Ringed Knight: " What about side by side with a friend?" Millwood Chieftain: "Aye. I could do that."
Imagine for a moment that these two knights are the last of their orders. They’ve met each other on their long journeys through time and built a bond. Now at the end of everything they together take on Gael, and how epic is was!
Didn’t though. It’s literally indicated nowhere, and would not make sense with the fact that slave knights were undead, undead being something that started appearing as a result of the curse, the curse being something that revealed itself with the death of the first flame and the end of the age of light.
Nathan Jora it's okay, even if it may not be true it's still a cool concept to think about. Ringed knights with their dragon head shields helping out the slave knights, as they can empathize with the slave knights as they too are being shunned by the gods.
therealviejo People say that. I suppose based on the description of his armor (the slave knight set), since it’s the only item associated with Gael that could even remotely suggest that he ever fought for the gods, since it’s the only one that says that slave knights fought for anyone. But this set never mentions the gods, or the dragons, contrary to pretty much every item in relation to the ringed knights for example, who we know are in relation with gods and dragons. The only known link between Gael and the gods is his use of miracles... which are not exclusive to people who served under the gods themselves. Hell, the way of white (which is where the miracle Gael uses originated from) rejected its divine founder by the time of DS3, so who knows if he served the gods even indirectly, let alone as part of their army. So yeah, we actually don’t know who Gael fought for, and it’s unlikely that it had been for the gods, at least not during the war against dragons, since undeads weren’t even a thing back then, that we know of. I think it’s just one of these theories people like because it’s badass, and because they hate the gods (oh goodness, I sound like a Christian >
Ethan Tortilla « it’s okay, even if it may not be true it’s still a cool concept to think about » Is it a cool concept ? Yes. Is it okay ? Absolutely not (if you’re talking about it as if it was true). Because it’s not known to be true, and because it ends up in people piling up even more imaginary crimes on my poor boi Gwyn. « they too are being shunned by the gods » They literally have one in their own city :| Two, in fact, since Shira is part of Gwyn’s family. So *at least* two. And Shira calls Midir « a dear friend ». I doubt she would’ve had a bad relationship with ringed knights before they hollowed out. Besides, can’t we admire the faithfulness of the ringed knight for one second ? These guys, even hollowed, relegated to the end of the world, very literally (which they may or may not have been okay with) still serve the gods (as evidenced by them dropping covenant item for spears of the church).
After their armies clashed in The Last War, all that was left was the two leaders, their people gone, their names forgotten, and their memories fading, but they still hung on, hung on to the hope that the dark soul could give them. Then something strange happened, strange for the end of the world, they heard running, and saw a beast charge at them, his sword decayed over the years, his armor ruined and wrecked beyond repair, and his want clear to them. The want for the last thing that matter The want of the last hope in this ash filled world The want of the dark soul. The chieftain of the millwood knights and the leader of the ringed knights looked at each other, the last bit of their humanity and sanity in their eyes, and they stood side to side, their faction long behind them, as they charged To face their last foe as comrades. It’s a shame their people were long dead and buried under the very ash they walked upon, and that they would soon, join them.
Not fair, in a real anime the last Ringed Knight would have had a Buff of friendship when the millwood chieftain died. And we all Know that DS3 is anime.
Through paint, through snow, through frost, through the Abyss, and through Ash, the Millwood Chieftain rose. The last of his kind. Through the curse, through the stone of grandiose walls, through the fire, and through the sands of time, the Last Ringed Knight rose. What little soul left in the Knight made him stand. They realize, there is nothing but ash, a Slave Knight, the now dead Pygmy, and each other. They need not speak, but have one last final battle. Dust to dust, Ash to ash.
Death ahead One old knight choose not to rest in a distant cold wood, hoping to find the ruiner of his home. Hearing tales of a dragon seeped in dark residing in a fabled city, would chose to search but in the end would only find ash. PS that was one hell of a comeback at the end. Great video!
I love how their attacks rarely overlapped with each other and instead worked as though they're covering for each other's openings. Like when last ringed knight paused to wind up his next attack, the chieftain's attack would be there to cover the opening. Too bad they lost...
Amazing teamwork! They really had some great synergy in terms of combat and themes: The Last Warriors of their Respective Kind joining up at World's End to defeat the Ultimate Monster!

Hexnus Agreed, but then I demand that after AW vs Carthus, we see a huge battle with hundreds of midirs (without the laser attack and dark attacks), Gwyn (a reskin of second phase soul of cinder will do), young NK, the witch and her daughters, Nito, and all the armies they had at their command (so at least silver knights all three form, one Ornstein, one Gough, one old dragon slayer, ringed knights all three forms, and maybe also Havel and his troops, as well as a spooky army if Nito had one). Maybe not right after AW vs Carthus though, I imagine recreating the entire war against the dragons would take a little bit more time. And money. A whole lot of money to buy the supercomputer necessary to run that fight ^^
Just to mention, I wanna see Carthus vs AW because I wanna see if my Carthus bois even stood a chance against the AW, though with Wolnir I bet they would 100% win.

Milwood Chieftain: "Never thought i'd die fighting side by side with an edgelord."
Ringed Knight: " What about side by side with a friend?"
Millwood Chieftain: "Aye. I could do that."
"Not even ten of the most powerful warriors in Farron's Legion could defeat me, what made you think you had a chance?"
Its not even "if" we had a chance its that we have the will to not go quietly into the night!
Sounds eagy when i say it.
Millwood Chieftain: I have no chance of winning but I will not die a coward And if I make you bleed that's good enough for me
I love how Gael is teabagging the ringed knight's corpse with a triple moonwalk
Imagine for a moment that these two knights are the last of their orders. They’ve met each other on their long journeys through time and built a bond. Now at the end of everything they together take on Gael, and how epic is was!
Second phase: top 10 anime battles
I love these "badass enemy vs boss" You are killing it man.
it's even cooler when you think about how the slave knights and the ringed knights fought together in the age of dragons
Didn’t though.
It’s literally indicated nowhere, and would not make sense with the fact that slave knights were undead, undead being something that started appearing as a result of the curse, the curse being something that revealed itself with the death of the first flame and the end of the age of light.
Nathan Jora I don’t know if this is true but I remembering hearing that Gael had been a slave knight since the very beginning but as a human
Ethan Tortilla « it’s okay, even if it may not be true it’s still a cool concept to think about »
Is it a cool concept ? Yes.
Is it okay ? Absolutely not (if you’re talking about it as if it was true). Because it’s not known to be true, and because it ends up in people piling up even more imaginary crimes on my poor boi Gwyn.
« they too are being shunned by the gods »
They literally have one in their own city :|
Two, in fact, since Shira is part of Gwyn’s family.
Love the aggression at 2:30 and the next 25 seconds. Just as he hits P3
Millwood Chieftain and The Last Ringed Knight vs *All other DS3 bosses*
Gael before cutscene: getting butt kicked at the fight
Gael after cutscene: I AM THE POWERFUL ONE
After their armies clashed in The Last War, all that was left was the two leaders, their people gone, their names forgotten, and their memories fading, but they still hung on, hung on to the hope that the dark soul could give them.
Then something strange happened, strange for the end of the world, they heard running, and saw a beast charge at them, his sword decayed over the years, his armor ruined and wrecked beyond repair, and his want clear to them.
The want for the last thing that matter
The want of the last hope in this ash filled world
The want of the dark soul.
The chieftain of the millwood knights and the leader of the ringed knights looked at each other, the last bit of their humanity and sanity in their eyes, and they stood side to side, their faction long behind them, as they charged
To face their last foe as comrades.
It’s a shame their people were long dead and buried under the very ash they walked upon, and that they would soon, join them.
Fucking nice bro
Beautiful development as a sequel
TH-cam Recommended it n I Been watching these all day! Yu got yourself another subscriber 💪🏾
Not fair, in a real anime the last Ringed Knight would have had a Buff of friendship when the millwood chieftain died.
And we all Know that DS3 is anime.
This is amazing! Thank you for the upload 🙏
Dust to dust,
Ash to ash.
Death ahead
One old knight choose not to rest in a distant cold wood, hoping to find the ruiner of his home. Hearing tales of a dragon seeped in dark residing in a fabled city, would chose to search but in the end would only find ash.
PS that was one hell of a comeback at the end. Great video!
3:20 look at his little "victory dance" damn gael chill out don't be so toxic...
Absolutely love how epic these vids end up sometimes!
Knights: “Dude we’re actually doing it!”
Gael’s AOE spam: “No”
That was so much better of a fight than I thought it’d be
3:01 that was so cool, it looked like he impaled gael
He mess up when gael released all that dark souls.
Dude, your setup has improved, I love it!
Me before watching: Oh, this is gonna be interesting.
Me during the watch: CUSTOM HEALTH BARS, MAH DUDE?!
Gota admit I was on edge for a second there this has to be one of my favourite fights
what the hell is this production quality weve come a long way since just dropping a boss in front of another boss
I liked the thumbnail composition, very professional!!
I love how their attacks rarely overlapped with each other and instead worked as though they're covering for each other's openings.
Like when last ringed knight paused to wind up his next attack, the chieftain's attack would be there to cover the opening.
Too bad they lost...
Almost like two rivals putting their differences aside to fight a common enemy... This is awesome!
damn the two of them had a harder time with phase 3 than me even
When a simulated gameplay looks better than high budget CGI animation.
A Viking and A Knight Unite For The Last Battle... Against an Hollowed Old Man...
Amazing teamwork! They really had some great synergy in terms of combat and themes: The Last Warriors of their Respective Kind joining up at World's End to defeat the Ultimate Monster!
The two leaders of thete knight army have teamed up for a boss battle
Love your videos dude, keep up the awesome work!!!
The thumbnail is my new wallpaper
This is the best channel for these kinda Dark Souls Npc fights
Can you fight side by side with the creatures of the game? That would be awesome! If so, I think you should make gameplays with their help.
Now i want to see a mod where you manage the enemies like a RPG game and can upgrade their stats
@@damian-fi3fy then play with different factions. Lord Gwyn, faction of the First Flame, special units: Four Knights of Gwyn. Or Manus, Father of the Abyss, faction of the Abyss, special unit: the Four Kings.
That Milkwood Chieftain was a rock! He never touch the ground only when he died! Thats badass
Ahh, is this the hype?
The hype of the title drop?

Закольцовыный рыцарь: чувак ты знаешь что нам пздец?
Милвудский рыцарь: да я знаю, рад был с тобой в тимейтах быть/)
Закольцовыный рыцарь: я тоже, прощай👍👍👍
Imagine Gael with Dragonslayer's poise...
Cries in strength build
One of the best battles i've seen. Really epic and powerfull.
And even in a historic point, it's really cool 👌
Nobody:
No one:
Absolutely not a single person at all:
Gael: Ooooaaaaaaaooouuuuugh!!!!
Didn't know that I needed this fight. Thanls man
YOOOO! i want to write a fanfic about them being bros now and going on adventures, but like, they are not immediately friends oh no, quite the opposite in facts, they hate and try to kill each other, but after days of amazing and exhausting fighting they both stop from tiredness and start talking and then become friends.
That thumbnail is cool af
1:20 “i sure hope that isnt, Chris’s blood.”
3:26 "try as many times as you like. Until a real fight comes my way Im going to sit here and wait"
2:40 this is where earrape starts
That was much closer than I expected !
The new god of war looks awesome
So close! Really interesting video :D
Alright, real question is: Can we get a crap ton of abyss watchers vs a legion of carthus enemies? I wanna see how it went down.
Well, carthus fell and the AW lived long enough to link the fire.
So... Big win for the AW.
Nathan Jora yes, but we want to see it happen.
Why not just do it in Ds1 using kalameets and gaping dragons?
Just to mention, I wanna see Carthus vs AW because I wanna see if my Carthus bois even stood a chance against the AW, though with Wolnir I bet they would 100% win.
Gael really turned the game around when he began swinging his cloth here and there
