I usually have some non-expanding wood glue and a rag to wipe off excess. Just a drop in the hole before you tighten it up or on the flimsy back panel to add a bit of rigidity to it. It just adds a bit to the sturdiness and longevity. My young kids (3&5) have wrecked some end tables, jumping on to the couch, but they lasted 3 or 4 moves so we got our moneys worth out of them.
That’s a great tip.
use a stapler for the backing.
thats a great tip. thanks Mysteries

Obviously I've missed a few times with the nails and it makes such a mess of the that Ikea "wood".
Sometimes it is not fixable, especially if it's someone else's furniture, Kind of embarrassing.
The other plus is, if you have to take it apart no damage at all pulling 1/2 inch staples.
Nice😎😍😎😍😎
How do you structure pricing for assembly services? Do you charge by the hour by the piece, etc?
I typically charge by the piece depending on the complexity of it. Minimum is $100 and up from there. I perfer charging by the job simply because it does two things, it allows the customer to know ahead of time what they will pay and I can typically make more per hour that way. It’s a win win
@@TOOLMANTIMSWORKSHOP great information Tim, thank you
