After rewiring myself to see food only as fuel for the body I no longer felt offput by the lack of variety of carnivore, instead it helped me stay on track and found it easy to stick to
Carnivore helped me see food as fuel nit as something to seek enjoyment out of. I used ti struggle with that a lot, but now I have it under better control than ever
Look around TH-cam and you will find how talented and creative Carnivores truly are. They make breads and desserts from protein. Of course, they do not taste the same as the sugar and carbohydrates we were used to. They are there when you do want something sweet or whatever. I have had more than one person say or yell at me, "If I can't eat whatever I want, then life isn't worth living!" (How stupid is that?) I no longer talk to them about how I lost over eighty pounds and stopped taking over a dozen different medications. All during my sixties during the last couple of years. I have gotten back into body building too. I stopped over twenty years ago due to a major back surgery which was followed by both shoulders and both hands by 2017. I have permanent nerve damage and constant pain. I chose life over dying early, unlike most people who give up. The people in my family tree die in their eighties and nineties. The thing is they do it old, fat, and unhealthy. I am not going to follow their paths. I went from a tight 38 jeans to a loose 34. I can probably get back into a 32, but I am 5-10 lbs. from my goal weight. I started higher than the 268 I weighed at my final doctor visit. I am down to 187 shooting for 180. I'm getting muscle back. I have to go slow because of the five major surgeries. I need to use lighter weight with more reps and split my workout during the day. This works for me. Yes, I hurt. Mainly my shoulders and every other joint. The thing is, I hurt all of the time anyway. Why not hurt with a goal in sight. My choice, my life. I won't ever stop. 😎
Your story is very inspiring and I hope someone who reads it and finds the motivation to make a change aswell! It is true that there is super creative people out there who can make almost anything you wish. One day when I have reached my goals I will try and make myself some carnivore ice cream, its the only food I've ever missed since I started. But for now the simplicity is so helpful for me as I've always struggled with eating too much of everything if there is many options. Now I am contempt with just the amount I need fuel and nourish my body. When food is no longer the most important thing in life you value everything else so much more I have noticed. I consider myself lucky to have found this lifestyle at such an early age and I'm optimistic it will help me achieve a life I'm very happy with. The path I was on where food had control of my life was looking very dark and I don't know where I would have found myself if I hadn't gotten off it.
@@chokethewoke746 Thank you for commenting! Steak and eggs is the greatest thing to exist😋 I LOVE dairy too, but have cut them down heavily now when trying to lose fat!
@@bobbylord9948 How long have you been doing it for? Also I know for some eating too close to bed time can disrupt sleep as the body is digesting. My friend who struggled with this tried eating nothing for 4 hours before bed and it helped.
189cm 86.7kg working out 4 days a week and a full time practical job. 4000+ calories on the carnivore lifestyle and I'm losing fat but my lifts in the gym are going up exponentially. Been training for little over a year now but I look like a god-viking for that short time.
You gotta do 90 days not 60 to really see the difference and stop eating any seasonings carbohydrates and fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables are pro inflammatory why because they have phytotoxins which are inherently harmful for you. You gotta teach people why is it like that ! Our main source of energy isn't glucose but rather fatty acids. I know what I'm saying might not be correct because myself haven't started a carnivore diet only animal based diet which still contains glucose because of milk and cheese.
I agree, the longer you do it the better the results will be. I stopped all carbs (I've had some occasional dairy, maybe once a week) and seasonings and it really has helped me get in control of my eating. I will at some point make more in-depth videos about how carnivore works and why its the best for us. Some occasional carbs from dairy is in my opinion just fine, if you feel like you tolerate it well. But we should really be fueling our body with fat, that is true, not the insane amount of carbs we are in todays world.
@@60-DayCarnivoreChallenge Definitely keep it up ! Yeah well it isn't perfect to add seasonings but it's quite good if you solve an issue by adding it !

How do you people deal with constipation ?
Never had any. Eating enough fat is key tho!
