If you don't have an impact, it's easier to break that pulley nut loose while it's still mounted in the car. Just a wedge a screwdriver or pry bar through the spokes of the pulley so it doesn't spin and break the nut loose. Also if you actually want to REBUILD the power steering pump, it's pretty simple and cheap to replace the o-rings and seals.
