I bought the Dark Horse I'm in Canada, so I paid big bucks. Plus, it is in the holding yard waiting for the Christmas holidays to end so it can be brought to the dealership for me to pick up. However, 500hp was not enough so I also ordered The Whipple Supercharger and yes it cost big bucks because I'm in Canada but can hardly wait the 8 to 10 weeks till delivery. I'm a retired senior who wants to have some fun on the street this summer and some track time so where I can go wrong? Mine is Shadow Black A700, Handling package, Dark Horse appearance package, Recaro seats, Tremec six speed and Notorias blue calipers with grabber blue logos. Carbon fiber wheels were not available at time of order also wanted painted graphics but was not available at time of order. So, looking forward to getting behind the wheel.

I personally think it’s not worth paying any mark up living in Canada just because a car like this is going to be sitting in the garage half of the year up there because of the weather conditions while alot of the buyers are doing monthly payments. But if you have money to blow then I guess you can do whatever you want 😉
@@pawg206 and the opposite can sometimes be true for us in Texas.
In the summer months, the A/C struggles to keep up, tires get overheated and greasy, and the sun fades anything it can see for any length of time lol.

Common misconception. The Tremec 3160 is not stronger than the MT82. It may shift better but it’s not stronger.

If you get a base GT with the performance pack and active exhaust, you'll be paying around $49k. The GT convertible is $58K. A base Dark Horse is about $62k, so there's not as big a difference if you can order a Dark Horse without the dealer add ons! Tough choices!

You can't comment on handling if the shiipping spacers are still in the front springs.

We actually spent two says the week prior with a GT performance pack and the street driving / handling was one of the most impressive aspects of the 2024 Mustang.
As for the Dark Horse the primary diffence is going to be a slightly stiffer suspention and larger anti-roll bars so with that I would have to still say the handling has to be at the top of the list.
In reguards to the ride quality with the changes in suspention...I have to assume no one is buying a Dark Horse for the Cadillac ride quality.
As we mentioned in the video this was shot on very short notice and the car was lined up for a customer to come see it on the showroom floor so it was bassiclly off transport with no dealer prep.

I don't get it. $75K is Corvette money. If I wanted to go all in on sport, I'd buy a Stingray. If I wanted a car that's easier to live with day to day, I'd buy a loaded GT and save the money.
You're paying a 25% premium over a loaded GT for a few mild upgrades and a colorway.

7,300 rpm’s max. Dark Horse won’t go to 8,000 rpm’s. I have one and it won’t go that high .
