Griffon spits have (one of) the highest skill ceiling in the game. The P51 has a very high skill floor and a pretty high skill ceiling. That’s pretty much the entire summary.

@@intlon4299 Gaijin is known for terrible decisions. Heck they even cancelled unlimited WEP on the 190s. 100% throttle on the 190s cant even outrun a spitfire.

I Love this plane its so fun to play in my opinion the biggest plus is that sea fury holds speed very good and going very fast and the cannons are great.
it holds speed but fw190s rinse you in every aspect. The sea fury has one of the worst accelerations i've ever experienced. It's rip speed is also quite low, 810kmh IAS.

I'm glad you played this thing. I took it out to spade it and with an alt advantage thing thing is nasty especially with the real shatter changes with the stealth belts. Holds its speed well climbs pretty good and turns surprisingly good but only at high speed. Love this thing spaded it 30-2
it would be nice if they gave this thing (or added a variant of it with) the fighter engine settings instead of the korean war "we're gonna baby the engine to reduce the required amount of maintenance" settings.
funniest thing I ever did in this thing was outrate a 109 G-6 in a flat two-circle at around 6km.

I bet if it was from big 3 and sat at more popular BR, Sea Fury would've gotten both fighter tune and ground pounder payload.

The sea fury and tempest have the wrong flight models. The sea fury outperformed the tempest 2 in all aspects. Gayjin fkked it up as usual.

This plane has a great roll rate and can run fast on deck. I always bring it to ground RB
Much better as a ground rb plane, plus the rocket options are very nice
it runs fast on the deck but barely faster than any rank 4 109 and totally not faster than 190Ds.

Idk man, even for ground rb, I’ve seen planes with much better performances or weapons load for the same BR.
You only get one bomb drop, Hispanos MkV is bad against ground targets and the ammo count is just limited. Rocket is always inconsistent for me.
Performance wise, you are hopeless if someone is behind you while you are close to the ground. Even if you stay at higher altitude and only BnZ, there are simply better options for doing that, such as D9, or K4. These planes have similar rip speed and high speed handling, but doesn’t sacrifice climb rate and turn performance like the Sea Fury.

You should play the Seafire FR-47! It's one of the best looking planes in the game in my opinion.
I often struggle with the Sea Fury, not a very easy plane to fly.

I actually really liked the premium G55s I kind of skipped over the G.55 Sottoserie 0 and the G.55 serie 1 so I'm really not too sure how the G.55 tech tree versions are. But premium one 💯
I have both, both tech tree versions are wee bit faster and for Serie I slightly heavier armed than S. But, especially for Serie I repair price is very steep (actually it slightly more expensive to run than Re. 2005)

This plane is absolutely insane at 5.3. Only downside is the 4 hitsparkos with low ammo. I'm not a great pilot and I absolutely destroy with it.

Could you make a video about either G55 sottoserie 0/serie 1? Got both of them lately and i'm not exactly sure how to play them, i try to force horizontal turnfights, but it rarely works out and enemies always use vertical maneuvers to counter it. I may be a little biased, but C.205 serie 3 seems to perform better than both of them.
The G.55s are turn fighters. They will beat most things that aren't Japanese or Spitfires in a turn fight. They also lack compression up to very high dive speeds meaning that US props can't counter or shake them by using compression at high speeds to their advantage.
@@rainsilent The thing is, they lack speed to compete with most fighters at it's tier. Sure, you can tail a diving mustang with little to no compression, but when he reaches 800+km/h in a dive, he basically escaped. Sure, you can turn anything that isn't japanese or british, as you've mentioned, but when someone starts to maneuver in vertical, you're good as dead, thanks to G.55's wing shape making you lose speed very quickly when going vertical. Not to mention the sottoserie's lackluster weaponry, 4x12,7 bredas seem okay but they do literally nothing past 400 meters, so you got to rely on your only 20mm.
@@immentallunstable111 It depends on how close you are at those speeds. If you are within shooting range and the US plane gets away then you messed up. If you were chasing and never got closer than 1km then you messed up and threw your energy away chasing something you weren't going to catch. It takes experience and knowledge to judge it right.
In terms of vertical it really depends upon how both parties play it. The G.55 is capable enough in the vertical that it can get the kill, or at least good hits in, before it gets into a bad spot in most scenarios so long as the fight started with near equal energy. That said the G.55 does not like fighting up hill. It might have the engine of the 109 but it did not inherit that quality of the 109 so you want to try to force the fight out of it whenever possible.
That all said I will confess that I don't like flying the G.55s. They have some very strong qualities but I don't like the play style in general (there are very few turn fighters that I do enjoy) and the aircraft really is more limited than I would like.
@@rainsilent i always find myself all out of speed a second or two after i take up a vertical maneuver - at 400km/h or more. That's why i never resort to it, trying to dive out of danger instead. Though i gotta say, i prefer the playstyle of C.205, more energy focused - that thing can do great things, albeit it doesn't turn any better than G.55.
How!? How can you be outrun in this plane?? It does *460 mph* top speed, the fastest of any British service plane in the WW2 period (except for the Spiteful, and that didn't really see service). It's so fast and maneuverable it is a common choice for Air Racing here in 2023! Is this more bad Flight Modeling from Gaijin?!?

how about a vid on how to pick fights. I try to energy trap stuff that helicopters and kills me lol. I try to boom and zoom stuff that just casually turns around and shoots me as I pass. I dog fight 109's which outturn me by doing vertical loops n stuff. Things I try to defensively fly against stick on my tail like... I donno glue and cutting throttle just makes me go slow enough that I can maneuver so I die faster. There is def a skill difference the higher BR you go. I got the yak 3(vic 107) cos u said it was good but it ain't good when I fly it (skill problem i know) guns don't do anything (wish I could aim) climbs quite well, but compresses when you use it because I can't figure out how to engage enemies when I'm 2ks above them. also, p.s. is it better to always full throttle when doing the spinny washing machine with an enemy or try to keep ur speed at your planes smallest turn circle speed, I forget the technical term for it.

Could you fly out the Me-262A-1a, I just unlocked it but it was my first jet back in 2014, and I enjoyed it then and enjoy it now.. the guns are are slow firing but pack a serious punch if they hit.. I don't go head on I climb and wait for a enemy to be distracted then I swoop in basically boom n zoom

Sea fury or Tempest V or Tempest II?
If you like good looking aircraft or appreciate history, Sea Fury or Tempest V.
If you want the highest low alt speed possible (by a long shot), Tempest II.
If you want the most favorable match making and balanced performance, Tempest V.
Sadly, Sea Fury uses a new engine with a lot of room for development, but advent of jet age meant it wasn’t really developed to its full potential, at all. That leaves us with a War Thunder Sea Fury that is heavy, has high wing loading, but doesn’t really have the best top speed or even descent climb rate due to the relatively average engine power.
EDIT: apparently the engine could develop more power, but was intentionally gimped to increase engine life, since the extra power wasn’t needed as a fighter bomber. This “peace time” engine setting was modeled in War Thunder. The Sea Fury Mk X is the original fighter with unrestricted engine power. That thing was very fast and powerful, almost as fast as the Tempest Mk II.

yeah both are like flying a bus and dont have much elevator authority probably because of how heavy they are but they are fast and can be turned quick in rolls using hard rudder at certain speeds making reversing someone on your six an option if you dont have the altitude to dive away i just fly them like i do a p47 with a full bomb load stay fast and boom and zoom

To be honest, I'm pretty sure you just don't.
You don't, Yak-3U is a beast. For real though, try to abuse his low wing rip speed, and bad med-high attitude performance. Do not engage in a dogfight if you're at any disadvantage.
@@immentallunstable111 the problem is the tempest mk2 and the sea fury both have crap high alt performance as well so just stick to high speed slashes and hit and run tactics . The tempest is faster and can make the fight for the 3U very annoying.
@@sherlocksinha2435 that's why i mentioned abusing 3U's crap diving speed. You boom'n'zoom it, it'll catch you in a straight line easily, but not if you dive out. You don't even need to be at high-alt.

There is no reason why the 109K should be a 5.7 it deserves to be at 6.0. For example, it does everything better than the F4U-4B especially now with the cannon nerf. These planes almost beat the P51H.
