I wish you could test drive every vehicle in the game, but have many of them be unable to be unlocked. Helps with making choices on which path in a tech tree you want to research or what you want to put time or money to get and/or upgrade.
Such a unique aircraft to play. And at the BR you often get the Ju288 Teams, so you either get an ace or die trying (mostly the latter). But I still love it. And in GRB it's a perfect anti CAS plane at the BR it is.

@@kingghidorah8106 I mean, compression is something but the ME 163 is kinda of in a weird spot where I think it's hard to balance... cause you slam everything in a down tier but you can actually hold ur own in an uptier. But if players play it correctly, you are gonna get kicked to the curb. As for the guns on 163, the 8.0 one has MK 108s which are slow so I think you have to lead them more than you think is sufficient

The La-15 is an absolute monster, the me163 is better performing at the expenses of a fragile airframe and low fuel amount, the clipped wing Meteor with the big engines is also amazing, I've test flew the Reaper and it handles like a glove however the high speed authority is eeerk

Anything you drain of its energy is just gonna lose to you instantly cause you always have the energy to just go up and they won't be able to follow you up. As for the meteors, I've flown the F.8 in the Israeli air tech tree but tbh, I can't really say I enjoyed the couple matches I've played in it. I think it's mostly on the part that my play style is based on a support role rather than that of the player who jumps head first into the furball and dogfight everyone at once. If I'm to fly a plane and perform optimally, I MUST have the speed to leave the area at will and not so mediocre maneuverability. The meteor is kinda too slow for me. It's agile but people who they're probably gonna lose a dogfight with you and just run and you can't even run them down.

These HE models are reallllly fun in sim! They don’t really flat spin, the guns are good. it’s fast and the 30MM version is preferable because of the bomber spam in sim.
I thinks it's mainly because in Sim, fight taker place at faster speed. The he162 seems to outurn a bunch of props. but the moment you get below 400kph IAS. It just become a brick. So dogfights at higher speed in SIM help it greatly
as a 6.0 constant player I see at least one He-162 at 1 in 5 games. but there is an ever rarer plane that I see at 1 in 10 games if I don't play it myself. and it's J7W1
i've been saying it for a while, but every time i get weird looks... He-162 is actually a pretty decent fighter *IF YOU PLAY IT RIGHT* . that's the part people have the hardest time understanding.
The game has started counting people as "dead" alot easier than in the past, leaving alot more often those players who made it back to base to repair, but are considered dead on the leaderboard

I really needed to RTB after I got low on fuel, the second my wheels touched the ground the tickets started to bleed so quickly the game would have been over before I even had halted to a stop... I quickly powered through and waited for the other guy to RTB as well in the hopes he didn't pay attention. It worked. ^^
I remember back in the tournament, 2017 or so, you could choose between the He 162 and the E-100. Obviously I chose the E-100 but you were able to get both of them because there were 3 tournaments of the same type with the same reward, just with different gamemodes. Arcade, realistic and sim.
I love the 162 A2. i got the A1 during the 5th anniversary tournaments flew it once hated the mk108s and its been collecting dust in the hanger ever since
I really wish they would bring this back it looks sooo fun, also Defyn, the 151 variant isn't better, it's easier. And while this is harder to use, it's MUCH better than the 151 variant when used by someone with skill.

I love this thing. the 30mm really play into it, because you dont have to turn around if you hit most of the times. idk if anyone is flying this thing besides me lol. the real bad thing about the guns is, they are so slow in speed and frequenz, planes can slip in between rounds even if your aim is on point

But eventually, I ran out of fuel, and am pretty sure they wouldn't let me take off again if landed but had a me163 in a game yesterday that on the board said he was dead and landed and came back and took out 3 of the team so that dead and still flying STRAIGHT DOGSHIT maybe should be fixed cause if considered dead then you should be just that if the board says it.

I didn't realise the He 162 was actually viable; my personal experience fighting it made me assume that it had the kind of playstyle where no-body could touch it but it also couldn't touch anything. Interesting to see that that isn't necessarily true. Also, based on my experience, I can understand where the other players were coming from when they were shit-talking. Some if not most He 162 players play really passive, which gets really boring when they're not making any progress.
I don't see 162s that often period, but it seems like when I run into them the pilots keep them well under 700 kph, and they can't handle a ki 84 diving on them at all

It is a 10.0 plane with no flares, with only 2 short range missiles. Both the US F8s are miles better.

It is actually decent, it is small target, it dont turn that well, normal one, but it is fast.
probably the best 6.0 imo. rocking a 5:1 k/d with the a-2.
