i started warthunder on tanks with my buddy and watched alot of oddbawz, and when defyn came in on a collab i checked his channel and have just been here since and have been converted to air rb as my go to
I think I speak for all of us when I say that the only reason I'm half decent in air battles is because of DEFYN. Not just through how he breaks down his thought process, but also the wide variety of aircraft he's covered. It's definitely boosted my understanding of what my enemies are capable of as well.
You've been a massive help to many Defyn, including me. No other youtuber has managed to explain how to play all these aircraft as well as you have. I always put on your videos as soon as I see them, and I will do so continuing forward.
Major facts. There are certain things I remember from the show "Dogfights" on history Channel, but Defyn has shown some serious skills and knowledge to where you might think that he is an actual pilot lol.
I used to hate air battles and I just used to farm bombers, but with you explaining how to do the positioning, tagret prioritization and all of the stuff I am actually enjoying fighters, thanks! (I recently unlocked my first jet)
I went from AB to ground SB because i wanted something more challenging, while RB was just insanely difficult with everyone's skill level around me. Thanks to your videos i learned a lot, and now actually enjoy RB, and even reached the first jet!
love to see you getting rewarded and getting sponsorships for the work you put out, it genuinely makes me happy to see a content creator such as yourself be acknowledged :)
I believe one of the most important things for learning to fly aircraft is learning the enemys strengths and weaknesses. It takes a bit of time and practice, but once you actually know how to fight others, it becomes much more enjoyable and easier to win dogfights. Good vid, as always!
I've learned a lot with your content, before i was terrified of playing RB and stuck to AB sealclubbing with the Israeli 109. After learning the basics of RB dogfighting i got comfortable enough to go and try it myself and i gotta say, its a lot more fun, keep doing what you do because you're a great help for the new comers.
You have really helped me become a better pilot through your tutorials and gameplay. I went from only being able to fly certain aircraft to understanding many, especially early jets. Stuff that seems obvious now is no longer that way. I am consistently getting a few kills that felt earned rather than just getting lucky. Your decal finally applies to me

Haven't played since New Power dropped. The first VB-10 (the green one) was the last French plane I unlocked and I fondly remember how it handled like a submarine sandwich. Glad you finally gave it a try!
Your videos have helped me enormously with how to play different planes and the radar guide had helped so much as I just started getting into top tiers jets and had no idea what i was getting into. Keep up the great work!
Making the distinction between flying x plane and flying *any* plane makes a lot of sense. Good way of highlighting basic skills over specific knowledge.
Defyn, I love your content and it's been a great motivator to hear your smarmy Dutch accented voice in the background while I go through my evening routine most days. As a second generation German-American, you've got my support, you sarcastic swamp German... Err, I mean, Dutchman! :D
I use planes strictly in ground RB. I would usually not bring out a plane if the enemy had any up as I SUCKED in dogfighting. I started following DEFYN a few months ago. I can proudly say I have had a couple of games recently with 5-6 aircraft kills and now can perform anti CAS. Knowing how to fly each plane is immensely helpful.

I have now over 3500 hours in this godforsaken game, but I can gladly say that because of your videos that I've managed to (mostly) enjoy the time I've spent in Air RB. After spending a few hundred hours honing my aim in arcade, I found your channel just as I was transitioning into playing realistic to grind more easily. The witty humour is just the cherry on top, and I've always looked forward to new videos - even when I'd taken months long breaks from playing in the past. Still waiting on the bike video tho :P
I took a decent break from War thunder where top tier used to be the days of MIG-15Bis vs F86-F2 where everyone would stay at the deck untill we all hit 1000km/h and shot up straight to the moon where dogfights where won on skill and big brain plays. when the overpowered thing was the hunter that we all loathed for being faster than us and then after that the MIG17 which we all considered astronomically game breaking Coming back to war thunder top tier now seemed like it just came down to who has more missles or flares on periodic countermeasures you helped me learn BVR combat, how to use different radars and settings and most importantly how to defeat phoenixes and other radar guided missles, I thought getting 3.0KD in my mig21 I'd be all set for the toppest of top tier, then I unlocked the mig29 and the stock grind was incredibly difficult and with me getting slapped out of the sky by a no warning phoenix was definitely an experience Thanks for your videos

You are a staple in the ARB community! Love watching you play, even with the dry ass humour.
love to see DEFYN finally getting what he deserves in terms of sponsors and giving us awesome content, cool you can do giveaways now
Haven’t touched the VB.10C in a while but you’ve convinced me to revisit it a little
Don't always get to watch these in a timely fashion, but I always enjoy the tips to try and become better in air battles.
Hi DEFYN
Thanks for making this great content
Love your content, Thanks for keeping me entertained for over these last few years.
I appreciate the content, very enjoyable, and still teaches me tips after playing for many many years now.
I cannot believe how well you can make these planes preform I have learned so much watching these.
Thanks for all the content DEFYN, you've been a great source of help and humour
Only started watching recently but enjoying the content. It's got me back into AirRB a bit from Ground👍
WhooptieDo took me to DEFYN 4 years ago. It's always helpful and enjoying watching Defyn's tutorial :)
this man just makes air battles look easy and i love it
Bleep bleep, been great watching your channel grow been a while now and much learning and entertainment from you and your sense of humor!
I took a decent break from War thunder where top tier used to be the days of MIG-15Bis vs F86-F2 where everyone would stay at the deck untill we all hit 1000km/h and shot up straight to the moon where dogfights where won on skill and big brain plays. when the overpowered thing was the hunter that we all loathed for being faster than us and then after that the MIG17 which we all considered astronomically game breaking
Coming back to war thunder top tier now seemed like it just came down to who has more missles or flares on periodic countermeasures
you helped me learn BVR combat, how to use different radars and settings and most importantly how to defeat phoenixes and other radar guided missles, I thought getting 3.0KD in my mig21 I'd be all set for the toppest of top tier, then I unlocked the mig29 and the stock grind was incredibly difficult and with me getting slapped out of the sky by a no warning phoenix was definitely an experience
Thanks for your videos
Defyn is the GOAT
Seriously, I love you dude, you make my time in WT so much more fun with your breakdowns
