- Just a few clips I've managed to catch on the dashcam while driving around.
Due to language I advise not to watch if you have kids around.
And please take care and drive safely around trucks and other vehicles.

As I always say: Some people slip behind the wheel, stick the key in the ignition, stick their head up their arse, and hit the road to make our lives a misery. You must love some of them. Keep on truckin' mate.
1 thing my old man taught me, when I was having driving lessons, always give way and allow plenty of space for semi’s & B doubles. Obviously after watching many dash cam vid’s, that sensible type of advice isn’t taught to young punks & foreign drivers.
What is scarier now is these put put ding dings getting their licences from indian driving schools advertising in their language fresh off the fucking boat. I have had countless run ins with Indians and Pakistanis driving trucks.
One of my pet hates is drivers who tootle along 10 or so ks below the speed limit, yet when they get to an overtaking lane they speed up so you can't get past, then tootle along below the speed limit again when the overtaking lane ends!
They have 'Gandalf's Disease' - :YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!"
One of the worst driver habits when highway driving, ggggrrrrrr.
Simple call police assitance(non emergency) and report them for dangerous driving 😂

I gotta say, you're very patient when it comes to using the horn to warn the merchant bankers. When I used to drive the old Accos with air horns, I used to scare the shit out of the idiots, who'd comply quick smart. Now, I drive Volvos with a pissy car horn and I'm for the most part ignored (until they bother to use their mirrors and realise a big truck is in close proximity).
I love the uniquely Australian word "fuckwit", which so aptly describes some of the people driving on the roads.

What I have noticed in the last 55 years of driving is the large number of lawyers and self imposed educators who are more than willing to goad the impatient to battle . I still to this very day drive to stay alive regardless of interpretation of the law whether its Fatalism or How high up the food chain you are ...

It's probably unique to Australia to have 2 lanes going down to 1 solely because of the population density. Foreign drivers need educating that we don't slow down at these points unless necessary.

Hazard lights were on because of the idiot infront of him going ridiculously slow before turning into the fuel station when there is a lane to move over to if they want to exit and turn.

I was driving a light truck but pulling a heavy trailer, having climbed a hill and crested it to find myself under full power approaching a red light, a little red car overtook on the left side, which there was no lane and then stopped. Holly fuck, hot change to low gear and both feet on the brake pedal and I stopped without hitting.
No camera then.

when i had to be in any large city in America i always heard people bitching about the traffic, i would say leave your job move to the middle of no where drive a truck and you only have to spend a few hours in a big city and not live in one and still make money, i notice when you have cb on no one's wanting to fight someone ever 2 minutes on it like here in the states, i finally just turned mine off with in 30 miles of a city

There should be automatic intercom with every vehicle within 100 metres of everyone ... That way you can ask the question "White Camry ... What WTF are you doing?" or tell them "Dumb C__t towing trailer ... GTF outta my way now" I hate overtaking lanes for the reason you stated ... One at McLaren Vale/Willunga has a point to point speed camera ... You gotta be a mathematical genius to figure out if you can get away with overtaking an overtaking lane speed increaser. (Haven't fucked it up yet - LOL)
I travel along many roads with the point to point speed cameras but the speed limit is 100 for most of them (and am limited to 100 anyway) but they only track trucks, if they tracked cars/bikes A LOT of people would have speeding fines
What shits me is when you’re driving in suburbs on a middle straight through lane and the idiot next to you wants to turn right at the intersection and they first vear left almost into your lane then do the right turn, never understood that.
why do people need to get in front at the last min to turn left instead of going behind the vehicle then going left is it a metal thing with drivers I must be in front ?

One thing I've learnt in my 34 years of driving is patience and attitude. If you go out of your way to curse and carry on about the lack of skill and confidence by other road users you will continue to attract those types all the time. The simple law of attraction. What you put out you get back. Before every trip say something like, "I will have a pleasant trip, with no one to piss me off."
Mate have you ever had to work using a vehicle diary? "I will have a good trip and will get to my destination in 2 hours....." bound to hit traffic, roadworks, idiot drivers and then be stuck at a loading bay/dock it's easier said than done.
