Truckie's hold this country together. It's a bloody shame the way we treat them. That last guys put himself into a shit situation, because of someone else's mistake. He deserves a goddamn'd medal.
Some (not all) of the truck drivers in the first half of this video made questionable choices. Based entirely on the footage in this video, it appeared to me that some truckies were speeding and crashing into cars. What about the near miss at 9:10 at the intersection when the car pulled out from the right? In Victoria if you are at intersections without traffic lights or signs you must give way to any vehicle entering or approaching the intersection from your right. That truckie should have backed off and given way to the car entering from the right. Some truckies are downright intimidating.
I don't know why the roads have to be so close... All this room but let's pass each other and risk a 200kmh collision.. government could just make the roads further apart and save lives ?
I appreciate y'all kept the cut at 5:00 as long as you did, to show the overtaking lane that opened up not half a km down the road from where they almost killed themselves to get past. It really highlights the absurdity.
That driver was a Moron, music blaring, really wet westgate freeway, cars coming in from millers road, and then riding up there ass going to fast... that was all the truck driver that one.
Fuck that should have made the subaru driver fuck there car who cares if they die if you drive like that putting othe peoples life at risk then you have it coming
Serious respect, he risked his life to save another's, leaving the road into soft shoulder and field can easily end up in disaster, cab tipping, jack knifing, etc. He seemed a really cool guy.
I fail to see why would it be his responsibility to drive his truck off the road when someone is coming behind of him and he has done literally nothing wrong.
@@Veronicat-of4nz more-so a question of morality rather than "his responsibility", whether he moved over or not he would not be at fault but no one wants to see innocent people die no matter how stupid their decisions.
I have come realize that if I put myself in a position where getting to the exit might be a stretch either because I noticed it till too late or I was too ambitious in my over taking off other cars, it's ok I'll just miss it and get the next one. It's not worth dieing over, not even worth a fender bender.
2:06 Something similar happened to my dad when he was a rookie. Had an accident, somehow he managed to control his truck so it wasn't anything bad, but when police showed up they told him, if someone brakes in front of you, or cuts you off, you ram them, because you can only kill them may be yourself, unless it's another truck unlikely. If you swerve to dodge the car, break too hard, you will lose control, you will hit others, and you will hit or kill innocent people instead of an idiot who does something stupid to make you go off the road. Which makes sense.
you would hope! but im not sure how a typical claimant would deal with this scenario! he never made contact, he just swerved off damaging his own truck. hopefully his insurance/company insurance covers semi at fault (in the eyes of the law) stuff like this.
That last trucker Is a absolute legend, to be able to see all that happing and kept everyone safe and got a beast of a thing off the road in time, legend
You can kinda sense when someone's gonna overtake you cause they keep driving to/across centre line to look around you so he was probably waiting for it to happen for a long time and double checking his mirrors all the time. Good split second decision making though
People generally don’t know how hard it is to be a truck driver. Especially if your a long haul and have to navigate the city to get to a wharf. The hardest would be with live loads cos it moves around. I used to do a lot of rural and interstate driving at all times of night. I was always glad to follow a truck cos they knew where the speed cameras were so we cruise along. Then when we passed a camera or/and safe to pass I could always rely on them to pop their right blinker on to let me know I’m good to go. I’ve had this experience heaps of times. I don’t know who any of those drivers are. But I thank them because they were keeping me and themselves safe. So now I live in city truck side I always let them in and flash my lights to let them know I’m giving way. I would rather some joker car driver lay on the horn or swear at me than see a trucker get into a pile up on the freeways. Thank you truckers!!!
Heididi yeh your right and if your in Australia and on a Rural dirt or paved rade and it’s single lane little cars always should pull over and on UHF or other channel 40 say” the road is all your mate “ my dad did that and we got a thanks and I think you know this
"I could always rely on them to pop their right blinker on to let me know I’m good to go." Don't try that in England. Here, it's left for overtake, right for don't overtake. That makes sense.
Yep! That's me! Nice to hear of someone who understands what that random right blinker comes on for intermittently, you'd be surprised how many dopey bastards just don't get it.
When I lived outback the blinker was always what I waited for They are higher and can see further down the road then I If my turn was the next left I’d just pull back and put my lefty on Not that hard, some people just don’t seem to understand math and physics the truck can not stop that fast if you merge into it’s stopping zone in wet weather no less and then break your gonna get hit or the truck is gonna soon out trying to stop aye
In the name of myself and other truckers worldwide: thank you for being a driver with a functioning brain. Many car drivers treat us, well, like other cars. They presume we can always clearly see them, we can stop for them, etc. Many apparently think "oh wow this truck could stop fast, certainly that one can aswell" disregarding one very basic thing: you don't know our load. It could be 1.000 kg, it could be 30.000 kg. Thank you for wisely choosing to not endanger yourself and others. Oh and here's a tip for the jackasses: if you disregard the law and cause us to perform an emergency stop, then quickly run off because no collision happened, here's some news: if we get this on our handy little dashcams, you might very well end up paying for an entire damaged load anyway even though you think you "got away". I'll repeat: you don't know our loads. A colleague of mine transported a completely average looking container not so long ago, inside it was a highly sensitive, very specific scanner for pharmaceutical purposes. Pricetag (we know for it was in the load documents): 1.5 billion euro's (1.77 billion USD). So next time you cut off a truck to win a few seconds, be prepared for a lifetime of being enslaved by debt. Not to mentioon that in the current crisis: we might be transporting medical PPE, medication, ventilators, etc. You really want to mess that up right now?
When learning to drive in the country, Mum taught all of us that even if there's plenty of room in the traffic to turn onto a road, if there's a truck coming, you wait for it to pass, as there's no guarantee there'll be time for it to slow down or you to get up to speed before it reaches you.
Yep. Car could stall, you could miss a gear(manual) or some kid could choose that moment to run across the road. Then you are sitting still awaiting physics to catch up.
There are obviously some anatomic abnormalities on display here. The vision, the brain, the hands, and the feet, all are being called into question. Just sayin ...
I was in the Darwin to Adelaide World Solar Challenge a few times and our solar car and support vehicles were regularly overtaken by A triples. When they came up behind we called him/her on the VHF when safe to overtake, pulled as far left as we could without going on the gravel, they came past, we told the driver when they were clear and they pulled back in giving a left-right-left flash. 3010 km each time and never a problem.
4:04 is a textbook example of a trailer incorrectly loaded. The weight was on the tail, rather than the hitch. That was unrecoverable once it started fishing. Always make sure there is more weight forward of the axles than behind them.
Some people have an arrogance problem where they always say "I don't need anyone to tell me how to attach a trailer!" Alright mate, good luck when you fishtail and roll over in the middle of nowhere and by luck, can't get yer mobile to work!
That was a few different mistakes that didn't have anything to do with the trailer being loaded. Going way too fast for one, the draft off the rig is what got the trailer swaying then they over corrected once they got in front of him. I've seen lots of holiday weekends start with rolled over trucks and travel trailers, it's really fun when they flop opposite eachother and twist the hitch and safety chains all up with the trailer in a thousand pieces and end up blocking the entire freeway at 6PM on a Friday night.
The trucker at the end is a hero. Why the f... don't we celebrate heroes like him on a national level? The guy risked his own life to save several. That's an Order of Australia right there. Thank you mate.
Respect to all the truck drivers. My mother taught me from a very young age to give trucks respect on the road and give them space. I've had many truckers thank me on the road for letting them merge or turn a corner without me up their arse. I see so many people treating trucks like small cars.
I work as a transport network operator in NZ and I can tell you the truckies are the ones who fix problems on the road. You have no idea how many lives I've seen them save in near misses, removing road hazards, attending to crashes they weren't even involved in to keep the traffic moving... they're absolute legends. But they remain humans, give them space, indicate, slow down, let them in. I've seen way too many deaths in a car v.s truck scenario. It's simply not worth the few seconds or minutes off your journey, if you're lucky.
Thank you to all you truckies out there. You do a great job delivering all goods throughout Australia. Especially through this Covid crisis.. Thank you... Take care and be safe on the roads.. 😘😘
My brother use to drive a B-Double. He took me for a short spin around Smithfield NSW one day, in just half an hour I saw the shit he had to deal with, mainly cars cutting him up at traffic lights. Education for trucks, motorcycles and (unfortunately LOL?) cyclists needs to be improved here in Australia. Getting a car licence is WAY too easy!
Laws need to be changed in many areas. Eg a cyclist does not need to use a cycle lane So in other words my rego fees which went to build it gets wasted by a dick that doesn't need to have rego or insurance?
IIGrayfoxII I'm sure most cyclists also have a car and pay taxes so they're paying for the roads anyway. Why don't you use the cycle lane? Then you'll be even.
I saw a couple caravan issues. For those who don't know what to do when your caravan (or any trailer for that matter) starts to fishtail like the few in the video. Don't try to correct it by counter-steering etc. Simply accelerate and try to keep the steering wheel as straight as you can. The trailer will follow you out and stop fishtailing, trying to correct it will only increase the chances you lose control and have an accident. (Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but having plenty of towing experience this is what Ive been taught and have found to work)
Most of these just show you that you can be doing the right thing on the road but there always would be an idiot who doesn't who ends up causing an accident.
Hats off to the truck & dogg operator at the end of this for basically saving those idiots lives. The amount of stress these truckies go through it's unreal 👍
That last truck driver is a good guy. Good on you mate. Austrian drivers on the whole are pretty good, Some are just bad but you get that anywhere in the world.
Kobus was thinking the same thing, but then again when im on the road here(south africa) it doesnt seem like there are any idiots behind a steering wheel.
4:06 seeing the momentum of the caravan flipping that car was crazy, I've only ever heard about that happening from my dad, didn't think I'd ever see someone managing it.
I believe it’s actually fairly common. Any time I’ve seen photos of a caravan ripped to pieces or a flipped over, the four-wheel-drive always seems to be on its side or rolled also
On behalf of friends and family who have benefited IMMENSLY from this invention, my heart felt thanks and continuing prayers for the inventors good health, future successes, and for helping thousands enjoy theirs.
Last guy in the video is an absolute legend !!! 👏 You safely manage to get off the road (not putting youself in harms way) and prevent a head on collision that would have no doubt have killed both occupants.
Daily basis ? What an absolute load of crap. You clearly have no idea what it is like to drive a truck.Sometimes they have to go or they will never get anywhere. You just slow and let them in. It's easy. If you are slamming on your brakes on a daily basis you are a very poor driver. Thanks for playing though.
but this video suggests that truck drivers have a crash at least once a day, if we wanted to drive trucks for a living we would do it , but we don't. Don't make excuses for incidents you haven't witnessed he may live in an area with a lot of truck movement for construction and they dont look when exiting a site , why must car drivers yield to trucks every time , most car drivers don't drive as a job where as in truck drivers do it for a living so there the professional and should be driving more responsibly than the average joe blow , i witness trucks constantly going through orange and red lights and its not because they cant stop as they are going pretty slow when it happens which in turn prevents other vehicles from going about there business when its there turn (trucks included) if they dont like the length of the green light petition the local govt dept to extend them
These videos plus a road trip from Melbourne to Alice Springs by car in 2015 have given me a different perspective on what truck drivers face each day.
You guys are amazing - how you drive on the roads every day with so many thoughtless drivers is a major credit to you - God bless truckies all over the world.
Maths problem for year 11: Setup: You are in a private vehicle weighing 1.5 tonnes and traveling at 80 KPH. As you decelerate to 20kph you turn onto a major road, from a side road, you become aware of a 50 tonne truck 20 metres away and traveling at 70 KPH. Question: How long do you have to live? 🤣
That last story, wow mate. Stay safe out there. Great honor for that sacrifice. We need to show more respect for the hard working big rig drivers, the risks and the emotional impact of everyone on the road.
It's amazing how it never occurs to some people, that instead of suicidal cutting in front of someone, they could just use the breaks and pass behind them in a more safe fashion.
Dude I just realized that on 2:39 I recognize this place. This is my school's route. I recognize the medical centre on the left and how different the place looked back then. What a crazy coincidence.
0:55 well it’s safe to say, if that car had a passenger they’d be well and truly dead with the driver having broken ribs, shoulder, leg and internal bleeding really do feel for truck drivers in these situations
That road desperately needs a give way sign. The guy hit must of thought he had right of way ie give way to the right. Unfortunately his road looks like a driveway or something. The truck driver thought he had right of way as in driveways give way to traffic. Correct me if I am wrong?
From what I know being a relative to a truck driver that's been doing it for ages. He likes to listen to upbeat or fast music to keep himself away on long hours.
Little do you realise that teen pop is also adult pop in the real world. Most of these white hairs dont have any musical preference - they just have the "radio" on.
Wtf. lmao. Some truckers might not even know how to operate a camera. If you at least don't get a pricey camera, then the cheap one you bought will take decades only to get to the 3rd menu...
Nope, I wasn't bad talking truckers. Just saying it's worth the investment for a better built camera. I bought a $25 camera (my fault) and couldn't even get the SD card to fit (somehow the spring was broken). That camera you couldn't even just plug it in and record. You had to press one too many buttons in order to get the correct settings, such as night vision, day light, etc. The audio gave up on the first day of using it and the SD card kept sliding out, duct tape wouldn't hold it either lol. I've learned my lesson, don't buy cheap Chinese crap... I'll only buy South Korean or Japanese made product from now on and check online reviews.
If you pay people to drive your trucks and you don't put cameras in you should sell up as well. There are some retarded truck drivers out there as well. "Hows my driving" stickers aren't good enough any more to track how good your drivers are. I know I was almost murdered by a truck who merged into me because he didn't want to slow down (NOT one that couldn't slow down in time).
I have become a grey Nomad caravaner and give Truck drivers every respect possible on the road, They have the hardest job and our country is indebted to them for the work they do.
half a sec later "what happened there" my guess the truck in the right hand lane was most likely a straight ahead only lane, and the car in the left lane was a straight ahead or turn left lane got nailed
@@nzbidzel some trucks need 2 or 3 lanes to take that hard turn as theyre too long. Hence the "do not overtake turning vehicle" signs. This driver was not paying attention the the blinker on the truck
@@Nuukess Really? The truck is in one of the middle (straight ahead) lanes, turning across another (straight ahead & left turn) lane, going way to quick to take the corner safely or for others driver to assume the truck is about to make an illegal turn across their lane, all so the truck can bet the red light. A truck driver that knows what they are doing would edge across, while indicating, taking up both lanes, ensuring another car cannot come up the inside lane, taking the corner with caution. It's the truck drivers responsibility to ensure that the lane they are turning across is clear. Lane wasn't clear. Truck drivers fault. I think you'll also find that this car that got hit wasn't overtaking the truck, but driving, legally, on the inside lane.
@@Nuukess Correct, I'm not arguing that. But unfortunate, the truck was only taking up one lane, and it wasn't the turning lane. No part of the truck was taking up the inside lane until they turned in quickly and aggressively, to beat the lights, causing the contact. And remember, it is the truck drivers responsibility to ensure the lane is clear before turning. Truck driver fucked up and I hope they were held to account.
The driver turning into oncoming traffic was clearly at fault. This is an intersection in Gympie, Qld (at the duck ponds). It's a shit place to turn right (like the car was doing in this video), which is why I actively avoid doing so when traveling through. However, in saying that though you can see enough to make this turn safely if you need to. This driver just completely failed at that.
The truck driver at 2:06 has made a number of mistakes here before the start of the accident: - He started overtaking another truck on the left (which in this case also boxed him in) - He allowed himself to get very close to the car in front of him - All this with poor visibility and a wet road surface I don't know exactly why the car in front slowed down but in a sense, it doesn't matter, he only slowed slightly. It might have been brake checking as some have suggested or it might have been that one of the common bits of advice for being tailgated is to gradually slow down to make the tailgater back off. The car might also have seen something ahead of concern. Overall, almost entirely the truck drivers fault.
@@CovidConQuitTheCensorship neither, he slammed the brakes because the car in front slowed down, his rear/trailer tires locked up on the wet surface and he spun out / his own sliding trailer pushed him aside
I do heaps of km and notice often if I get up someone's arse cos I know the road and plan to pass after next bend.. the front driver starts to panic and brakes. Spose it's a natural reaction but I seriously don't understand them .
As a matter of policy I never swerve to avoid a collision. I hit the brakes, hard, but not enough to lock up the wheels. Only had one: a deer. Several near misses. Swerving is dangerous; there isn't time to access the shoulder conditions, think about the embankment I might roll down, or consider the power pole I might hit, or see the family of four out for a walk. Staying in my lane is more 'the devil you know'. It sounds cold and calculated, but it is prudent. I prefer to think before acting.
It's also what they teacher you in training. If you swerve and not make contact with the car in your lane you are at fault. Unless you have video to prove it was because of someone in you lane.
Truck drivers deserve respect, because: - They do a difficult job - They put up with stuff like this - Because as we see in idiot in car Vs truck collisions, the truck usually wins.... significantly so.
No people are to busy with everything else than driving, phones, WhatsApp, children and they simply don't watch, pay attention, and react as they shoul. It has a everything to do with how they were reached and often by a family member who doesn't know how to drive a vehicle him/herself.
patience* take over* is more accurate than pass. recklesly* instead of "very dangerously" I'm not trying to be mean, there are things I wish people corrected me on earlier than they actually did.
3:46 I swear to god 90% of drivers turn like this, and the only way to keep a safe distance from them is to do the same thing which isn't viable in a truck, how the hell people with a license end up turning like this is beyond me.
It's because they are fucking stupid. They think "road is 60/70, must drive at or above that speed at all times" regardless of whether there is a bend in the road they might need to slow down for. So they get to the bend but they have no confidence or even concept of their vehicle's cornering capabilities, so they think if they take the corner properly they'll skid out and kill themselves, and they know they're too shit to control the car if it starts losing grip, so they just cut the corner.
It's such an easy "turn" though, should be simple to stay within the lines without needing to slow down. Natural selection, why do we as society cater for the lowest common denominator in these situations rather than let nature take it's course.
It's because a large majority of motorists have no idea have to negotiate a bend. Instead of having their eyes up pointed as far ahead along the curve as possible, they stare straight at the centre line right in front of them and wonder why that's where they end up going!
The driver of the car is a drongo. Theres a extra 0.5m past the unbroken line on the right that he could drive on if he understeers. Instead, he oversteers and drives into the truck.
You can't expect other people on the road to do the right thing. If your tailgating and acting impatient then you can't really blame anyone but yourself.
Basic lesson when entering traffic road: look to your right and left before moving across and when doing turn in order to check for any passing vehicle.
cobaltace62 I lived in L.A. a couple of years - back in the 80s - and I thought honestly they were pretty good drivers, especially since Southern California is all about the automobile. In St. Louis, the drivers are rude bastards but they DO seem to control their cars well. And the average American housewife can back an SUV the size of most European apartments into a tight parking space at top speed. I've been in the truck when it happened.
Truth Seeker You call yourself a Truth Seeker? Let me tell you the truth. Those murders came to my country, raped my mom and left her for dead. But she survived. I was born and she gave me away, because she couldn't stand to be reminded of this particular day. Your Vet's are nothing but murder and rapist. That's the truth. There was NO reason for them to invade my country. And still America denies to pay for Agent Orange victims. Better not try to find truth in your local pub.
Truckers undoubtedly have a hard task moving such large vehicles amongst so many much smaller more nimble ones but I think they are just too big and the freight would be better on trains leaving roads for people.
Drones m8... yup yup. We'll have to have 700 million drones taking all the freight to rail heads and then wait 10 weeks for it to get lost then sent to perth and back then delivered to our shopping cart. So basically everything we eat or use on a daily basis will be rotton and damaged from now on but it's ok because now the retards are safer.....
If trains were the primary source of transportation, the infrastructure costs would be in the trillions. Then you would have more accidents with trains because they would be ubiquitous. Then people would be complaining about how stupid and dangerous the Australian train system is. Then they would want truck drivers to move their goods.
VideoMorsels you have a point in Australia where I can see the infrastructure costs would be disproportionate. In Europe we do have the rail infrastructure and we try to use it for moving people and put freight on the roads! I cannot agree with you on rail not being better and safer for moving freight when it is available though. It is deeply frustrating to be stuck behind a huge truck for hours on end and it is no wonder that some people eventually take risks to get past them, especially those not accustomed to the turn of speed required to do so quickly and safely.
Bose de-Nage did you just say what I thought you said? Fuck man, hitting a roo in truck would do way less damage then a train hitting a roo. Other shit as well would happen and we'd be like Greece, in fucking debt leading to the government asking for money from the Kiwis. Mate, those fucking road trains are fine. I live in the bush and you at least see 10-20 semis a day, and the occasional triple of quad. I'm learning to drive now and I don't have much experience, they seem big but there not. Calling the mad cunts up on the 2way and by asking them to tell you when there is a opening or if there is any threats that may danger me and my passengers. From you comment, your a city slicker who has driven in the city you whole fucking life, then you've had a bad experience with a truckie and hate em. You show them respect on the roads, they'll do everything in their will to make you feel safe and secure while driving, like the fucking last guy. Have a nice day mate 😊

Panic reaction to missing the exit. They don't even look at that moment.
i agree, i did it once or twice too with an unregistered car with no insurance either
I have come realize that if I put myself in a position where getting to the exit might be a stretch either because I noticed it till too late or I was too ambitious in my over taking off other cars, it's ok I'll just miss it and get the next one. It's not worth dieing over, not even worth a fender bender.
Chris Hayes I like when I see them reversing back up the road to take their missed exit
i don't get it why people ignore looking left and right?.
Extremely cynical advise by the police if it's real. But makes sense.
That's so awesome mate.
John S it’s the same idea as car drivers not causing accidents by swerving to save a rabbit running in front of your car.
Good advice mate!!!

They invented that a while ago.. it's called insurance.
you would hope! but im not sure how a typical claimant would deal with this scenario! he never made contact, he just swerved off damaging his own truck. hopefully his insurance/company insurance covers semi at fault (in the eyes of the law) stuff like this.

When I lived outback the blinker was always what I waited for
They are higher and can see further down the road then I
If my turn was the next left I’d just pull back and put my lefty on
Not that hard, some people just don’t seem to understand math and physics the truck can not stop that fast if you merge into it’s stopping zone in wet weather no less and then break your gonna get hit or the truck is gonna soon out trying to stop aye
Then you are sitting still awaiting physics to catch up.
apparently drivers have two eyes.
the question begs if those eyes are connected to the brain.
@Al Castill nah mate, its connected to their ass

For those who don't know what to do when your caravan (or any trailer for that matter) starts to fishtail like the few in the video. Or perhaps go get one instead of retire.
Wtf.
@@dampaul13 It is law that a truck is allowed to take up multiple lanes to make the turn
3:00 is the most purest example of where the term _"Fucking Volvo Driver!"_ comes from.
It's probably an old person, those ones that simply drive everywhere at 20km/h not stopping at any give way signs

Bickety Bam d
The truck driver at 2:06 has made a number of mistakes here before the start of the accident:
- He started overtaking another truck on the left (which in this case also boxed him in)
- He allowed himself to get very close to the car in front of him
- All this with poor visibility and a wet road surface
I don't know exactly why the car in front slowed down but in a sense, it doesn't matter, he only slowed slightly. It might have been brake checking as some have suggested or it might have been that one of the common bits of advice for being tailgated is to gradually slow down to make the tailgater back off. The car might also have seen something ahead of concern.
Overall, almost entirely the truck drivers fault.

Paul Maxwell dead right don’t dodge em, often gets even worse and the bastard that caused it gets away Scot free.
Paul Maxwell: This makes your driving predicable and that's VERY important to other drivers ... this is good policy and I commend you for this ...
correct action
That's exactly what you should do mate, I don't swerve either. Flipping a DG tanker over isn't high on my priority.
Truck drivers deserve respect, because:
- They do a difficult job
- They put up with stuff like this
- Because as we see in idiot in car Vs truck collisions, the truck usually wins.... significantly so.
I'm always amazed that there are people out there who submit videos showcasing their own horrendous driving skills.
m guessing that the trucks are invisible....that's the only "LOGICAL" explanation.
No people are to busy with everything else than driving, phones, WhatsApp, children and they simply don't watch, pay attention, and react as they shoul. It has a everything to do with how they were reached and often by a family member who doesn't know how to drive a vehicle him/herself.
all trucks should be equipped with cow catchers.
myname is private it’s called bull bar
Patrick Star bull bars are good and all but a cow catcher would make things better, those Currie munchers wont see it coming
Definitely because they'd need to catch all them 'cows' who drive
@@Baloowyd In my country/language it's called a donkey killer.
Some people have zero paitents following behind trucks, and then trying to pass sometimes very dangerously.
patience*
take over* is more accurate than pass.
recklesly* instead of "very dangerously"
I'm not trying to be mean, there are things I wish people corrected me on earlier than they actually did.
especially doctors that have been struck off!
I honestly think a lot of people don’t know any better. Need better education why don’t they run an ad on TV or teach it in the driving test.
The doctors have all the patients.
That last clip, what a bloody good truck driver 👏
The 2nd one killed me how do you continue on your day so easily after offroading and almost being destroyed by a semi haha
Instead of having their eyes up pointed as far ahead along the curve as possible, they stare straight at the centre line right in front of them and wonder why that's where they end up going!
goatee01 because that's a retarded idea.
The driver of the car is a drongo. Theres a extra 0.5m past the unbroken line on the right that he could drive on if he understeers. Instead, he oversteers and drives into the truck.
If it weren't for the accents, you'd swear this is footage from Russia.
no crashes happen in US?
***** I'm sure there are tons of crashes in the states. Difference is, the insurance companies don't require you to have a dashcam.
*****
neither do they require one to have a brain and unbiased mind
***** I'm sensing I've hit some sort of nerve with you?
blyat XD
After seeing few of the footages, gotta admit these truck drivers have heart of gold
what happened at 2:10?
The car that merged onto the highway in front of the truck braked in front of him and he locked his brakes.
The car in front of him must have braked hard.
Too many stupid car drivers that cause accidents without getting a scratch on their own car
thou shall not underpass,
You can't expect other people on the road to do the right thing. If your tailgating and acting impatient then you can't really blame anyone but yourself.
04:29 this driver is an good human being 😁😁😁
4:00 that overtaking definitely made his trip take less time being on the road. Haha
Honestly idk if he was even overtaking, I think he just lost control
looks like a two way street in australia by the looks of it which means overtaking
Well it did end right there
Basic lesson when entering traffic road: look to your right and left before moving across and when doing turn in order to check for any passing vehicle.
i feel sorry for the few smart drivers in Australia..
SeanUk_ It's the hard knock life for us.
Those are all American tourists.
Mark Basnight
wouldn't know because america... autism..
SeanUk_ : still, all in all better than drivers in Los Angeles on the 405, the 5, the 101, the 10, the 210, the 118 or the 14
cobaltace62 I lived in L.A. a couple of years - back in the 80s - and I thought honestly they were pretty good drivers, especially since Southern California is all about the automobile. In St. Louis, the drivers are rude bastards but they DO seem to control their cars well. And the average American housewife can back an SUV the size of most European apartments into a tight parking space at top speed. I've been in the truck when it happened.
You know the guy at 3:30 crapped his pants after the 180 and seeing a semi
I would do prematurely too. May ask the truckie if he has a roll of tp handy in his cab.
@@southwest3671 He probably did have a roll there somewhere.
It wasn't his fault though...
@@guascamsb8138 yeah if you look the truck merged right into his side
The last truck driver was a fucking Vietnam war hero!
I recognised him out the classic movie
Missing In Action
Epic Grapes
Truth Seeker You call yourself a Truth Seeker? Let me tell you the truth. Those murders came to my country, raped my mom and left her for dead. But she survived. I was born and she gave me away, because she couldn't stand to be reminded of this particular day. Your Vet's are nothing but murder and rapist. That's the truth. There was NO reason for them to invade my country. And still America denies to pay for Agent Orange victims. Better not try to find truth in your local pub.
go back to vietnam if you dont like it here. our vietnam vets ARE heroes
Grape Juices
The guy at the end deserves great recognition .... onya mate !!!
Bose de-Nage Yeah, trains already run late and overcrowded for travellers. Lets just put more freight trains on an already overcrowded system. No.
Yep a lot of people out there impatient to die
Forza Horizon 3 sure does make Australia look a lot more peaceful XD
Ironically said by the player. Someone that breaks all the rules on the road 10 times over
Some great avoidance driving skills shown I. This video by the Truckies. Driving some big trucks myself, I can appreciate that.
