- Just a few clips I've managed to catch on the dashcam while driving around.
Due to language I advise not to watch if you have kids around.
And please take care and drive safely around trucks and other vehicles.

1) - Fish & Chips shop
2) - Uncle Spiro at the local garage
3) - Corn Flakes packet
4) - Meat raffle at their local RSL
5) - Part of a welfare pack for new citizens… Medicare card, pension card, BWS gift vouchers… DRIVER’S LICENSE??? Destined to be cab drivers.
6) - A 2-for-1 deal at Woolies
7) - Gift from their “relatives” with no clue about the road rules
8) - One of those people stupid enough to try & brake-check brother Shane
….I could go on & on with more examples but I’ll hold off for now 👍😆. Shane.. Always a joy watching your videos champ as this one brought a hysterical end to a shit day at work for me today… An absolute “Barry Crocker”. The clip at the testing clinic & your reactions were winners mate for me mate. That bit had me in tears from laughing so hard 😂😂😂
Ha ha ha ha, love it! Even though I am from the States, I know all the things you are saying about "getting their licenses". My usual comments on that subject is that they wither got their license out of a box of Cracker Jacks, or a gumball machine. But the way some people drive, I am sure they didn't go through the same tests that I did!

My wife is a cop & she sees stuff like this all the time & it never ceases to amaze her, especially the list of excuses start flowing from the drivers when they get pulled over 😆😆😆
@@gerardroll6468 I drive a teuck so saw basically the same stuff as seen here on these videos. But I cannot image putting up with all the stuff your wife goes through. Have watched some of rhe channels of what our poor LEOs go through, and I just cringe. Makes trucking look simpler.
@@ronfullerton3162 … When she started her policing career, my wife first worked in the highway patrol & was involved in many pursuits that often ended in tragedy. What made the crashes worse was when a body of a small child would be found in the wreckage 😣😣😣. To this day, she still has the occasional nightmare about them but not like before (helpful therapist sessions 👍). She’s now working in the K-9 unit & is the O.I.C of her unit as well. Her “partner” (our 4 year old German Shepherd) lives with us & is also the official bodyguard of our 7 month old daughter, who he loves, adores & protects like there’s no tomorrow. My wife is thinking of leaving the force at the end of the year after serving for 16 years as she’s much happier being a new mum. I’m not about to try to argue with her on that either 👍😁

Shane - we need more of these compilations, they are pure gold and echo every sane and reasonable driver out there. As a bloke that does a fair bit of country driving throughout FNQ, it never ceases to amaze how all of the cars that are quite happy doing 80 kmh (in a 100 kmh zone) on a normal dual carriageway always speed up to 110 at the passing lanes and then slow down afterwards. I managed to get pinged by the Flash for Cash as I got fed up with one of our lovely motorists and sped up to pass them only to see the camera van in front of me as I pulled out to pass - of course at stage I was going over the limit and got done and this happened 200 kilometres west of Cairns in the middle of bloody nowhere.
Damn how unlucky when you were only trying to do your own thing, some people have severe brain problems and shouldn't be driving.

1:54 in fairness, the lady in the 4WD was looking right trying to look past that double-parked ute, just as Shane pulls across to the wrong side of the road - "hazards" being on could easily be interpreted as Shane was going to come to a stop on 'his' side of the road. It takes two to tango..... IMO lady needs to look both ways (could be a kid on a bike or pedestrian coming from her left) and Shane needs to make sure it's safe to proceed before swinging on to the wrong side of the road.... including waiting to see if said lady might be about to pull out. Everyone has room to improve their driving, myself included.

She hadn't moved as I was creeping along at walking pace, and didn't cross double white unbroken lines, I did everything in my ability to be safe, she clearly didn't check infront of her before moving, she's just lucky it wasn't a pedestrian or bike rider.
...because she's oblivious to the big truck in front of her...She didn't see it or even hear it? In that situation, she should've noticed the truck and wait for him to be clear before pulling out

Hexham Bridge can be a nightmare at times, stay tuned, will do a truck walkaround video soon (once it gets back from the paint shop) and you'll see what I'm in now 👍
regarding the covid testing line, the sheep mentality is strong in Maitland. As for that peanut in the Isuzu, the only reason she didnt collide with you is her car has a imminent collision alarm, she certainly didnt have the brains to check where she is going, how these people get a licence beggars belief
Correct that sheep have no brains, and that lady in the Isuzu was lucky it wasn't a pedestrian or bike rider she may not of been as lucky to stop only because it was such a big object straight infront of her

Looking to her right didn't even check infront of her, could of been a bicycle rider, children, mother with a pram, someone elderly (or anything smaller than a truck up in her face) and she quite possibly may not have been able to stop quite as quickly

....@8:30..as a motorcyclist cant help but think...how do you stop in time if someone changes their mind & pulls out in front of you...considering you are ramping up speed in the 'left lane'...and at the very end...covid station is closed....so it is not improbable that someone will pull out in front of you.

So many people dont concentrate on the roads, and people are clueless when a truck needs to swing wide out of a driveway or back in. GIVE THE TRUCK SOME SPACE!

How much of a distance do you need before i overtake so you see me
@@nolesy34 I’m only in a light truck.
But the best rule is to make sure when travelling behind a heavy truck, and overtaking, you can always see the truck’s side mirror (driver’s side) and leave the same distance in front of the truck before pulling back into the driving lane. Afterwards do not slow down and/or apply brakes.
Remember trucks are often carrying a heavy load and need to make gradual changes to speed and/or direction.
Try to keep your distance from a truck approaching or descending steep hills.
And if a truck stops, indicates and then edges forward STAY STILL! They are likely performing a reverse or swing wide (against traffic) to enter a side drive etc. Wait till the truck is fully off the road (and not reentering to straighten up) before proceeding.

Big antenna on the back of the car is a dead giveaway in the sticks.
For any of you four wheelers watching this video, beware of pulling goofy things around us trucks. That is because many Troopers and other law offices love to use us trucks as a rolling blind. You go messing up and "Surprise", it is citation time!
The antenna was a bit of a hint, also you get to know other little things to look out for, quite often we will call out to let each other know when there are unmarked ones working around the area on the CB radios
"Now Closed" - at least the queue will speed up a little for the people at the back. LOL

A small dose of common sense would tell you, the covid testing sign was changed from open to closed once the line up got to that length & became potentially dangerous....

I think truck drivers are the worst .My daughter was having her 1st night time driving lessons we live in the country and had a truck driver sit behind as blinking his lights turning them off and on and we had no where safe to pull over cars were flashing lights at the truck but he must have through it was funny to do that to a learner driver
I work in an industrial zone and holy shit the amount of people that have zero idea how wide the turn radius of a prime mover and trailer is honestly scares the shit out of me.
Atleast one a week we have some numpty almost slam into the prime mover whilst it's doing the reverse swing into the property.
Had one "accident" truck driver has halfway through the swing reversing and she went to over take him and slammed into the rear bar on the prime mover at about 70kmph then tried to blame to truckie only to be found at fault and finding out how expensive trucks are.
Very entertaining.

If you overtake a big rig, hurry up and get the eff away from him. Leave the driver to continue on his way in the biggest defensive driving bubble you can. Trucks don't like you and don't need you hanging around them, piss off and let them be. Give them the least problems from departure to arrival, then they can get your goods to where they need to go and then get some rest ready for the next trip.

If you have to be licensed to have a trailer behind a truck then why are car drivers allowed to a trailer with out that endorsement on their license? Improperly loaded trailers or caravans.
