We all watch these videos for entertainment but you really can learn from them. I've learned not to turn left from the right lane, not to turn right from the left lane, to look before making a U - turn, not to pass a guy turning left on HIS left, not to go way too fast for slippery road conditions, not to oversteer and go from side to side until I hit something, not to drive 100 miles an hour in the city, not to pull out in front of oncoming traffic, to use my mirrors and not just back up until I hit something, not to pass on a blind corner, not to pass going uphill, not to speed when there is no visibility, not to smash into the car in front of me if it is going slower than I am, not to run red lights, not to hit pedestrians in pedestrian crosswalks, not to drive head - on into cars coming straight at me and not to drive on the wrong side of the street if it's too " busy " on my side of the street, and I've learned to stay in my own lane. All in all very useful driving tips.
You know all common sense stuff when ur driving 😉
What you said can be summed up: driving safely. Even though there is a high rate of car crashes compared to western countries, there aren't that much more accidents than in the rest of Eastern Europe. People see more footage because almost everybody drives around with cams and gopros in Russia.

3 правила которые в 99% спасут вам жизнь и вашу машину:
1) поворачивать направо только из крайней правой полосы (если другого не предусмотрено знаками и разметкой);
2) поворачивая налево нужно двигаться очень аккуратно даже если вас пропускает встречка, ибо встречку могут объехать справа и тут очень туго придется вашему пассажиру, а так как горит желтый сигнал все стараются ускориться и проскочить (что в корне не правильно) то это только делает данный маневр ещё более опасным
3) самое глупое и самое часто встречаемое, если вам в лоб несется какой-то недоносок, всегда оставайтесь в пределах полосы и применяйте экстренное торможение с прямым положением колес, в 99% случаев обгонщик уйдет в право от вас (влево от него) на обочину, таков инстинкт (прямо перед ним Вы а с права обгоняемое ТС поэтому ему деваться некуда), а у себя инстинкт свернуть нужно побороть и просто тормозить на прямом руле так вы с большей вероятностью сохраните жизнь и себе и своим пассажирам

Я несколько раз специально принимался к двойным сплошным линиям разметки и специально создавал щекотливую ситуацию наглым водителям ,которые делали обгон на закруглениях дороги с ограниченной видимостью , и видно было как водилы прущие мне на встречу начинали дергатся ( обсирались) . Обнаглели многие , обгоняют с расчётом что я должен на обочину уходить. Хотя это очень опасные маневры ,я не пропускал наглецов, но уже зла не хватает смотреть как прут в наглую в лоб.

На перекрестках ни в коем случае не притормаживать, если видишь, что кто-то пересекает твою полосу - обязательно газуй, не тормози. Обгоняй всегда справа. Если нужно повернуть налево - занимай правую полосу. Если нужно повернуть направо - занимай левую полосу. И запомни: никогда никому не уступай, жми на газ и матерись.

If you drive a car half of year on snowy roads, it blunts the sense of danger but does not cancel the laws of physics

Лет 10 назад резина даже российская была приемлемого качества. Современная даже дорогая резина фуфло и шыпы не помогают. С каждым годом всё дороже и дороде береш толку мало.

Мы ехали однажды по трассе зимой: метель, снега много намело, под снегом лёд, дорога гористая, спуски, подъемы с поворотами. Мы на туареге с новой зимней резиной типа Хакка, едем 80-90км/ч. Мимо на пролетает Киа Рио, женщина за рулем, в салоне 2 маленьких детей, летит 120-130 км/ч.
Испугались за неё и детей, а через пару спусков и подъемов догнали её, ехала уже 60. Видимо мотало сильно по дороге, хорошо что не улетела никуда. Хоть мозг включился

Here in NL it's hard to falsify an MOT, and they are very strict about car safety.
Brake failures are practically non-existent here.
@@paulmichaelfreedman8334 Old age of the brakes. But usually from too much of the usage after the downhill (most of these happening on Chelyabinsk-Moscow highway [URAL highway]). The brakes are warm, and have minimal usage. Or sometimes, it can be due to human error, after pressing the brakes for too much on the time.

The only reason we see more of this videos from Russia is because they do have more cameras. Insurance companys encouraged people to have cameras on the cars. They do have a lot of insurance scams.

It is interesting to note that some vehicle's perform better on ice and snow than other's. Even going through built up snow due to snowplows. Tires are the key! 😉

Для сравнения, автомобиль копейка, на мой взгляд лучше всякой иномарке. Сколько лет прошло, и ездят ведь, даже ржавчин не видно. Вывод с вопросом: Какой Хуу...., ворует и считает себя царем, отдавая 1 000 000 000 рублей ежедневно США в то время когда пенсионеры доживают в голоде? Не вник? Живи и взрослей, но помни, нас в России таких как я 60 000 000 человек, и однажды мы изменим все это в лучшую сторону. А царя придется посадить, либо казнить (как народ решит). И вернется в Россию качество дорог и автомобилей, бесплатное обучение, бесплатное лечение, бесплатное НЕФТЬ НАША ПОД ЖОПОЙ, и так далее...

I'm always a little surprised when the driver saw the whole thing, had footage that could help the police see what happened and just keep on driving, didn't stop to even see if anyone was hurt.
