Thank you for this great explanation! I am a RC Collective Pitch Helicopter pilot only but I love Helicopters, if fullsize or RC helis since I was 5 years "old" and saw them landing and taking off at the hospital close to my parents house. I love the freedom to take off and land almost everywhere with a Helicopter! Greetings from Poland!
I notice you give great advice/knowledge in safe operation in your videos I have not seen before, including extra peddle input side approaches on landings for visibility appreciated thanks..
Looking back at older turbines like the MD500 or the B206 which takes more to start up and even with a huge risk of entering a hot start if not started properly just shows even in the small things, yet on the ground can be complicating. Now with the newer rotorcraft like the 407 and the H125 with the FEDEC systems makes starting a helicopter easy, therefore reducing pilot overload on start. Although, it can be boring doing these ''FEDEC'' starts sadly.
Love the video! Im Not a pilot just a wanna be lol! I am curious why the two big screens are blinking!? i would think that would drive me nuts trying to see the info with them blinking like that.
Hello DSHolden, i really like your helicopter videos, i need more information on these machines, i have alot of questions, am interested to know this machine much more, how do i reach you on social media
I still miss doing "Progressive" starts with the Bell L-4's and the AS-350s and watching the ToT Turbine Outlet Temperature shot up towards 680C degrees and the redline!!!!!!! Both aircraft ensure the Pilot is wide awake and not just doing a Routine !!!
hello Anikesh, when i put checklist away and ready for "flight mode" i put my hand on the horn switch to be ready for the low rpm warning signal test, the actual increase from idle to flight rpm is coming from left hand input on the collective throttle being set to flight detent. So no, rpm increase does not come from pedestal switch.
to be honest i do miss the manual start of say the B2. the automatics make it easier, but for tech loving individuals the art of a manual start is something rather fascinating too.
@@tootallhanssen9865 ja, det er for og mot. Jeg har kamera på hjelmen men jeg har fester til å få til det ja. Det blir vel noe greier med det etter hvert og👍

For most of us it’s 3:00 am on a weekday and this popped up on our recommended
Better late than never? 👍

Thanks for feedbacks 😊 yes I try to share the perspective of safe flight tips in the vids.
Nice Video , thanks for sharing. Was flight 50 hours as co pilot at China two years ago . Miss that days .
Quit that job? Still flying?
It’s a good video. I’ve watched it several times. I hope I can learn more 125 techniques and knowledge from you.
Thanks, watch the others too. Covers much of what you should know about longline
Nice patch with the 212 and the polar bear 😁👍🏼
Yes👍 you know where I got that 😊
this is my favorite helicopter in msfs2020, nice to see it in real life
🤙
Enjoyed your video.
Thanks man:)
Great video! Keep it up with the content!!
Thanks:) have more coming 👍

Yes not much of a challenge,, tip: FADEC.. At least on h125
Nice tutorial #dsholden Greetings from Marbella, Southern Spain 🚁 I follow you now..
Great video! Whats the name of the app do you use for time?
Fantastic
Thank you! Cheers!

Thanks:) The flashing is the refresh rate of the screen with the shutter of the cam.. Annoying.. I know👍

Is there no Button to regulate inside Temperature...and if so, please tell me ???
Nice Video! ;) more videos with this perspective :)
That's under way:) have you checked out the rest of them?
@@dsholden1 yess seen all of them!👍🏽💪🏽
I'm just curious, are you a pilot or thinking about it? Or just an enthusiast? 🚁
@@dsholden1 I am thinking about getting my CPL. For now I am a simulator pilot and Photographer 😀
That's awesome man👍 there is also a guy upsidedownwash on the tube. Also norwegian. Have you checked him out?
Can't wait till I can fly, I still have to wait 3 years until I'm old enough to begin flight school!
Great video. What is the ebco test?
Ebcau test is the backup engine control system that regulates rpm to 390 in fase of FADEC failure

Way easier than the old as 350b/a that I learned in
yes, i do miss the old manual start too so i hear you!
H125 vs Bell 505. What do you like better?
Uglycopter, of course.

Rpm increased by switch instead of throttle twist grip

EXCELENTE VIDEO E BEM EXPLICADO!!!
DEUS TE ABENÇOE PODEROSAMENTE MEU AMIGO EM NOME DE JESUS CRISTO!!!
obrigado meu amigo
That's a single hydraulic b3e? I didn't know they made those
That it is, we only have one hydraulic system on the entire fleet, and I do dare that all of Norways fleet only has that.
@@dsholden1 interesting. Just for the weight savings?
Fuck I wish I wasn't too old to do that for a living.
Wow that was an expense 20 meters repositioning! ⛽️
DS, that was a boring start :)
Just flip a switch, not like 500, 206, and the older astars :)
Great job

@@dsholden1 Totalt. Det va som da automatisjon startet i fixed wing.
