It takes about 5 years to get the credentials then it's just 40-50 years to pay it off. So you could retire comfortably at age 80, leaving enough time to plan your funeral

Claiming "it's pretty simple" to install this digital relay is completely overstated especially when the actual important info, being the wiring, is vague, at best. I'm curious as to his background in electronics and how it'ssimple for him. For a novice with the same cooling problem on the same Secop compressor, you are the danger here, with your iffy tutorial. This wire here and this wire there??? Then the harness??? And when you're finished wiring??? You ought to go have a pint and gloat on yourself.

The relay on the W1209 is not rated for the current the BD35F takes. You'd be better off disconnecting the old thermostat and replacing it by connecting K0 and K1 to C and T. Also, by bypassiing the original controller you might be bypassing a slow start circuit or a fan delay circuit that is often included to reduce peak loads. And I'm not sure that power cycling the original controller might not shorten its life. What do you think?

I still miss doing "Progressive" starts with the Bell L-4's and the AS-350s and watching the ToT Turbine Outlet Temperature shot up towards 680C degrees and the redline!!!!!!! Both aircraft ensure the Pilot is wide awake and not just doing a Routine !!!

I think the main positiv and negative shall go direct to BD35 and the relay shall switch C and T. And if you ad a resistor in that circuit you can tune the rpm.

I have a similar size boat, a Crewsaver AirDeck 270. It's only rated 5hp and doesn't have an inflatable keel. What speed to reckon I'd get from it if I were to fit this Suzuki 9.9? As someone has this motor for sale locally.

these are great engines , the reason people say 50- 1 mix ratio is to keep engine really lubed it smokes a bit more but kinda guarantees enough oil i meet halfway at 75-1 cuz healthy medium if you have oil injected version than you dont even have to think about it,enjoy your boating boys

Just curious why you didnt disconnect the two mechanical thermastat wires and reconnect them to the digital controller K0 and K1 (C & T) ? You did it for a reason, so curious why?
