Unfortunately I fell victim to this and became an “independent consultant” for Perfectly Posh. I was 17, naive, and the prospect of making money was of course something I wanted. I went to college, learned, and got out. I ended up losing close to $500. That’s a LOT for a teen working two jobs. I am now Anti-MLM and hope my story can help others.
I tried selling PP, too...abysmal failure. The products are nice, but the prices are insane and the compensation SUCKS. I've been selling Avon now for three years and LOVE it. It's not an MLM...you are never required to recruit and the compensation is really nice. Even better, everyone already knows what Avon is. Direct sales isn't for everyone, but if you ever want to give it a try, Avon is the way to go. I'm so incredibly disgusted by the woman who said she previously went through her own Coronavirus. No. You didn't. My Grandpa's nursing home has the Coronavirus. We are so scared. Dozens of staff members and residents have it. At least 5 people in his facility have died. His house mates. They had stories, memories, wisdom and knowledge, relationships with friends and families, hobbies and interests that have now been snuffed out. We can't even see him to comfort him. We won't even be able to hold a funeral if he is taken by it.
I am so sorry. I have been devastated by the thought of families not being able to have a normal funeral. I pray your grandfather is protected. My father is 80 but at least he is at home. Unfortunately, my brother who has to go to work lives with him ( only unfortunate because of possible transmission).

Okay. I'm always annoyed at MLMs but as a special needs mom(my daughter has autism and adhd) who never used lysol products before I can say that statement is infuriating. There are reports from people recovering from COVID-19 that they couldn't breathe and it was so sudden that it became a health emergency. So, like a ton of people, I have a friend who's a Beachbody coach. She tried to recruit me before I had heard anything negative about these companies. After hearing nothing but positive reviews about being a coach, I did my own research and realized it was all just a scam. Now, my friend has actually done quite well with Beachbody. She started about 6 years ago, though. She added me to a group where coaches would share their experiences with being a coach and no matter how many times I asked, no one would tell me HOW they made their money. They refused. They ignored my questions. One person actually deleted my comment asking why no one would tell me how they actually make an income. It's truly disgusting how low these people will go. Thank you for educating the public on these scams.

I went to college, learned, and got out. I ended up losing close to $500. That’s a LOT for a teen working two jobs. I am now Anti-MLM and hope my story can help others.

I tried selling PP, too...abysmal failure. The products are nice, but the prices are insane and the compensation SUCKS. I've been selling Avon now for three years and LOVE it. They had stories, memories, wisdom and knowledge, relationships with friends and families, hobbies and interests that have now been snuffed out. We can't even see him to comfort him. We won't even be able to hold a funeral if he is taken by it.

My ex is on to her 5th mlm in 14 years and admits she hasnt made any money but is still drunk on the koolaid. She said if mlms are so bad why are they multi billion dollar companies. My answer was that if I was able to start a company and convince 99% of my staff to not only work for free but pay me to work for my by buying my overpriced products I could make billions too. I dont understand how they are able to perpetuate this fraud for so long. The income statement from the company she is at now has only 2.6 percent of the company earning an average of 1500 per month and up from there is fractions of percentages. You cant tell me the others joined for the love of their overpriced placebo supplements.

There are reports from people recovering from COVID-19 that they couldn't breathe and it was so sudden that it became a health emergency. I wouldn't want to suffer through any of what they went through. As somebody who is an asthmatic, I definitely understand the panic these people felt when they found they couldn't breathe. Definitely a terrifying moment.

I have a handmade business and, even though it sucks that my order influx has gone down, I would rather people be buying the things they NEED before buying frivolously from me.
There isn't a shortage of food. My local aldi had so much surplus bread they were selling brand name stuff for 85cents!
@@h.r.9563 it also depends on where you live and what stores you have available. Here, in Colorado, even baking ingredients like flour and sugar are hard to find

@@ridiculousspider It's definitely interesting to see how some areas are going through certain things faster than other areas. I'm not a personal fan of white sandwich bread unless it's homemade. I just find the taste to be off. Unfortunately it's all that was available when I did my online order today. My kids are happy, though, so that's what matters most. lol

My mom’s “friend” who’s in Mary Kay was saying that her daughter (who is amazing! Volunteering in the COVID unit!) she’s claiming her daughter is using the face wipes after her shifts (her daughter wears a hazmat suit) and is “saving” her hands by using the hand moisturizer after washing her hands and using sanitizer. Crazy. Like it would be one thing if you are sharing a product that your nurse daughter is using but you know she’s just trying to sell products.

I’m so glad to see you covered Maleuca, or however you spell it. I’ve had a few girls try and sell me on it, claiming that it would rid my son of his eczema. When I said no, they kept hounding me, “Did my message come through? This will help you! You can spray the cleaning product on your fruit and it’ll help keep the fruit flies away” WTF?! I blocked and deleted every single one of these Huns! I’m so over them!
So, like a ton of people, I have a friend who's a Beachbody coach. She tried to recruit me before I had heard anything negative about these companies. After hearing nothing but positive reviews about being a coach, I did my own research and realized it was all just a scam. Now, my friend has actually done quite well with Beachbody. She started about 6 years ago, though. She added me to a group where coaches would share their experiences with being a coach and no matter how many times I asked, no one would tell me HOW they made their money. They refused. They ignored my questions. One person actually deleted my comment asking why no one would tell me how they actually make an income.
It's truly disgusting how low these people will go. Thank you for educating the public on these scams.
