      Lol I used to be a janitor at a college working nights. I didn't get paid a lot maybe 200 a week. But I didn't mind it. I was there by myself cleaning at my own pace listening to audible. No one bugged me except for security. It's an honest job and I clocked in and out and went home not "bugging" anyone while working.

      You know what the great part about jobs like custodians/janitors are? If you work for 20 hours, you get paid for 20 hours. And you don’t have to hit anyone up on insta.

      @@marinaumana Same here. I can't say I enjoyed the actual work and I didn't appreciate getting pulled over constantly (small town cops have nothing better to do at 2am) but it was still a relatively relaxing job. Minimal people skills necessary and when I was done for the day, I was truly done. Can't clean over the phone, lol.

    Saying they are the “CEO” of their own small business at Arbonne or Beach Body or Monat is the same as me saying I’m the “CEO of TH-cam” because I run my own TH-cam channel.
    Just because you run a small business under the umbrella of another corporation ≠ CEO. If it did, watch out Susan!! I’m comin for ya!
    The whole “it can’t be a pyramid scheme because they’re illegal! 9-5 jobs are technically the same pyramid structure!”
    Right.. but at my 9-5 i am not required to buy into the company, and recruit the customers to be salesman under me. How do they not understand this... it’s very simple. One relies on recruitment and the other is literally just a regular job that costs $0 to do.. you *COULD* advance to CEO at one, and NEVER at another. Not one person to ever just simply work for an MLM is now the CEO. Correct?
    Keep exposin’ them, you internet troll you. You’re killing it! 🙏🏼💕🙌🏻

      @Hannah if you work in any kind of customer facing role, you absolutely do need to buy suff from your employer. I'm not defending mlms but lets not pretend sales staff don't have to buy new season clothing for uniform and that restaurant staff aren't expected to have tried most menu items. mlms are very predatory, but all they really are is capitalism on steroids. unless you are part of the top half a percent at any company, your labour and your skills are being exploited so that someone else can make a profit.

    • @charlottet9035
      @charlottet9035 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    • @platedlizard
      @platedlizard 4 ปีที่แล้ว +42

      @@charlottet9035 i have never bought anything from my current employer because our product is free to employees. Some places make you wear work-appropriate clothing but even then you don't actually have to BUY it from them. When I worked for Walmart i regularly wore clothing I bought at Ross, for example and if my entire wardrobe came from elsewhere it would have been ok too. It's simply not true that employers force employees to buy from them. They may suggest it, but it's actually illegal for them to force it.

    Alright I have never left a comment on youtube, but I am related to the girl in the last video. I know for a fact that she is constantly lying about how much she makes and how much she pays for. Her parents pay for the majority of her expenses (she is still in college) yet she tells people that she pays for it all through Monat. @@mollycurran1978 Unfortunately telling random people an untrue income claim- that you personally make x amount- doesn't seem to be illegal (I looked and couldn't find anything on that). But I did find this: The False Claims Act (FCA), also called the "Lincoln Law", is an American federal law that imposes liability on persons and companies (typically federal contractors) who defraud governmental programs. It is the federal Government's primary litigation tool in combating fraud against the Government. So I guess you can get away with lying to someone you're trying to recruit as long as the government gets the truth.... kind of sucks

      There are so many legitimate jobs out there like pharmaceutical sales, and business lending, that are commission only positions. These jobs pay really well for a good salesman/hustler. However, they are legitimate and at least offer there employees health insurance and 401k options. If you want a job in which you are totally responsible for your own earning potential, by all means go for it, but do it with a reputable company that doesn’t scam people and require you to buy the products/services. The small percentage of people in MLM’s that are making money, are truly making money off the backs of the helpless.

That's always the first sign someone is lying, cause people making good money, at least the ones I know, almost never discuss it. It's just bad taste, and why would anyone even care? I know calling yourself a girl boss makes you feel important and I hate to bring you back down to reality here, but you are a sales rep for a corporation. You do not own anything. This corporation that you just love so much chose an illegal business model so that they don't have to pay their sales reps directly, don't offer any benefits, no insurance, no 401K, no overtime, no paid time off, nothing. The fact that your job security is quite literally at the mercy of the company means you are NOT a business owner. Be smarter than this and choose a better career path.

      Not only that but you can get great benefits and insurance from some corporations. You can get sick days and vacations. Plus, you get raises and seniority in many jobs. You can move up to higher paying positions, but you can't in an MLM. MLM jobs are pitiful and anyone who blindly backs them up is intensely idiotic. They don't ever consider that they're the customer, not the business. I've seen many people in my life fall into MLMs and they're poor or barely making it. Not a single one has even made half of what you could make from a corporate job. It's pathetic, truly.

    Yes but the difference is that if you walk into a car dealership, you are there LOOKING to buy a car. Where as they just message you trying to push you into buying their crap or trying to recruit you and 99% of the time you weren’t wanting anything to do with it.

      Hey, Hun! I saw your comment and thought you'd be perfect for this great business opportunity I'm a part of!!! I'm personally coached by some of the country's best millionaire car salesman, and I have a limited number of slots I can use to share this amazing opportunity with others!!!
      Don't let this pass you by!!!
      YOU can pay me to buy a used car, AND that car will be totally paid for AND you'll earn mega buxx by selling used cars to others!!!
      If you sell 10 used cars, you'll qualify for a $20 bonus!!!
      But, if you recruit others to sell used cars under you, you'll get an additional $5 per sale!!!
      If you grind, grind, grind without pay for a few years, you'll be able to buy a matcha latte at Starbucks!!!
      What are you waiting for??? DM me to join my team!!!

      When she said “social media is MY storefront” I wanted to throw my phone out the window out of protest. It’s like going to a town meeting and declaring it’s your Tupperware party 😂 Like, nah

    She sounded like a victim blamer. “Turn your messages off and your profile to private if you don’t want people to message you” sounds exactly like “don’t wear short skirts if you don’t want to be raped”
    And she says her business isn’t predatory....

      Making your account private doesn’t do anything. They will STILL message you
